I received a letter 18th April saying they received my sons form on the 5/04/24. I then got another letter on 23/05/24 saying they still haven’t got a decision, it could take 15 weeks etc. i am not around 15 weeks and still not heard anything and feeling very helpless and hopeless. Anyone around my time too?

Hi, I'm waiting on 3. First of all my son's DLA lapsed. I was waiting for paperwork that never arrived. I didn't realise until payments stopped. They claim they sent it in October but I did not receive anything.
His scan date is 22/03 so we're 16+ weeks so far.
When I phoned up for him I put in claims for my other 2 as well, scan dates 11/04 and 15/04.

im 15weeks today (16.07.24) , so probably another couple weeks or so to wait as looks its taking upto 20weeks by what ive seen on previous threads /fb page

Guys please help! My scan date is 11/03.
im 18+1 day today I’ve received a letter saying they are asking for my sons birth certificate after this many weeks is this normal how late they asking for it and does anyone think this is a good outcome?? Xx please anyone with any advice

hi, im 15weeks today my scandate is 02/04 so just couple day before yours . I think its taking upto 20weeks from what ive seen on previous threads , But ive also seen some have had decision between 16-18weeks so possibly another few weeks wait for us x

They can ask at any time but I would send it fast and special delivery so you know it arrives fast as they might be waiting for that before they make a decision maybe I got asked for mine 4 weeks after scan date

I did this both times and within 24 hours got my letters and got back pay within 3 days. Don’t be afraid of complaining. It shouldn’t take that long to sort.

if you only get one letter, reply in the journal asking when the back pay will be and how much. It is the case manager/work coaches that works out the back pay and processes payment.

Hi all, for those of you who are on any Facebook groups, would you mind posting on here now and then what dates are being awarded on there? It might give those of us on here that don't do Facebook the push to call when similar dates are being done does that make sense? Just a thought x
