Im new to this thread, when you say scan date is that the date they got your forms back or the date you requested the claim form?

It's the date they scanned it in to the system about 2 weeks after I sent it for me it told me on a letter I got .

Scan date 16/10 parking meself here watched this thread for a few months but getting anxious now.

Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them..
Scan date 9/8
Recieved 1st letter dated 1/9
Never recieved a text
Recieved another letter dated 19/12 asking for more evidence
Sent the evidence (recorded delivery so I knew it was signed for)
Recieved another letter dated 17/1 asking for the same evidence as previous letter
After trying a couple of times finally got through to them this morning, just wanted to know why they're asking for the same evidence when I've sent it and it's been signed for and the lady I spoke to said there's no record of my boys claim, she said the claim number I have (that's on all my letters) is too long, she tried searching under his name and DOB, my name and NI number, our address and nothing has come up.
She said she's going to find out and ring me back but I'm sat here panicking. It took me so long to fill out the form and get everything together for it and because it was our first time applying, stupid me didn't make a photocopy of everything. I'm just so stressed.
If anyone knows anyone this has happened to and they've found the claim please let me know. It's already stressful enough waiting months and months for a response but now this.

COC scan date 20/9 called at 9 am straight through to find we were awarded last week so around 18.5 weeks...

I had an absolute nightmare with renewal this time. I returned the renewal pack 31/10 (within 1 month of receipt) and called 17/01 to check all was OK. Apparently my form hadn't been received. I had proof of postage but hadn't done recordes delivery. Cue a very panicked two weeks sorting it all. Fortunately, I scan everything sent to them and the evidence is kept in order. It cost me £8 to send next day recorded but the decision has been renewed.
I wonder if there was a problem during September and October?

Thanks it’s been over 2 weeks so rang this morning they said they’ve received them and scanned on 26th jan maybe there’s a letter in post to tell me but didn’t get a text xxx

Not near here but haven't used for years. Scan date 6th nov
no texts no letters had to call last week to be told a 20 week wait.

I received nothing at all I had to call to get an update. They did say letters had been sent but I didn't get them. I called about 3 weeks after id sent the form to be told the scan date was 6/11, and it would be aprox 15 weeks.

Then i called last week to be told they are taking 20 weeks.

God knows but like all the others on here I'm in for the long haul

I had no idea I could even claim for my son. I called the CAB for something totally different, who asked me about my situation ect. When i said my son had extreme eczema she said i could try and claim DLA. so here i am. He has had this since birth and struggled with it for years and years.

I'm totally clueless

Keeping an eye, my scan date was 26th Oct, I had a letter within the first month and then a text yesterday. Guessing from previous posts I imagine I will be waiting a further 3 weeks most likely

my sons scan date was 09/10… he is only 3 so just applied for the mobility part as he already receives hrc, the wait is driving me insane especially when I know how they don’t tend to give out hrm to under 5’s

Hey guys just and update..
I had a phone call Wednesday asking for a few answers I’d missed from my claim form.
today i received back payment, no decision no letter just payment.
scan date 10/10
payment date 13/02
18 weeks wait exactly.

I can’t remember my scan wait but I know it was received on 27th November so need to wait a bit longer.

In hindsight, I didn’t fill it in correctly so will probably need to resubmit it at a later date unless I have the opportunity to speak to them to explain. Has anyone had any success with this?

Just an update, text received on Monday saying they are still looking at our claim. and will write to me when a decision is made. called today its exactly 15 weeks , to be told its still in a queue and they are normally going to a case manager at 17-18 week.
