Could you post if:

A) You have booked and received a confirmation by email.

B) You have sent the form and cheque but have not had confirmation of your booking.

Or

C) Intend to book but have not yet sent the form/cheque.

Moondog has received 12 bookings so far, but I have had 26 forms requested.

If Moondog receives less than 15 bookings the event can't go ahead, so she may have to open it up to people from other places, but ideally we'd like to keep it to MNSN only.

I'm trying to get an idea of who else wants to come Smile

Lougle, my Dh is definately sending off the form but I have made a recent mistake meaning I'm in a different country by accident (don't ask). - and am not yet able to join things up to get the form in. I can pledge his financial contribution if that helps. We can get form and cheque in the post on Sat.

StarlightMcKenzie · 29/05/2014 22:15

Also. I reckon I coukd get a whole bunch of non-MNers if you need them. Just say.

lougle · 29/05/2014 22:29

star, you do make me laugh Grin I hope you get back soon.

OK, I'll pass that on to Moondog -hopefully she'll see this thread as it has her name in the title.

I'd hate you all to miss Moondog and Gandhi. The training is fab and will give you all a boost.

I'll help you get the numbers if you need that.

lougle · 29/05/2014 22:49

Thank you! I have had 26 requests for forms, so hopefully some people have theirs in the post, but obviously as Moondog stated May 30th as the closing day, we've got to look at numbers and start thinking.

Meeeee!!!

Have been overwhelmed with other paperwork, but I am coming. Form now printed, I've written the cheque, and I'm off to the postbox shortly. DH not sure how he's going to manage the dc, but since I'll be with the geese, it's not going to be my problem Grin

So we're on 15

MeirEyaNewAlibi · 30/05/2014 11:26

So I'm a C, but when we get our shoes on, I'll be a B

StarlightMcKenzie · 30/05/2014 11:26

Oh Lougle, sorry we're all so rubbish but sounds like you'll do it.

MeirEyaNewAlibi · 30/05/2014 11:42

I now have an envelope, and am about to stick the stamp on. Think that means I'm C+.

For tribunal purposes, I'm making excellent progress, current support at school action plus is effective, resources are plentiful and the school's only reported concerns are about the recent hole in my shoes.

lougle · 30/05/2014 11:45

C+ Grin If you're about to post it, I'll give you a B-

I'm 'working towards' national curriculum level 'B+'
Have stuck a first class stamp on Grin

lougle · 30/05/2014 14:04

It took you an hour to progress from envelope - stamp to envelope+stamp? I think you need an IEP!

Heheh! My challenge is working out who is who!
Woke in a real sweat today, having had a dreadful nightmare whereby you turned up but with loads of extended family in tow too, kids everywhere, husbands, grandparents and so on. Noone listened to a word I said, I didn't have my materials on m and Gandhi had done a runner. Aaargh-hop 'tis not an omen of things to come!

On the positive side, fresh back from Chicago International ABA conference where I took a workshop with some of the top Precision Teaching folk (Kubina & Yurich), spent an age with the DI folk and bumped into the lovely Pleasant Spice (although only fleetingly-place was too damed big, even for over 5000 people.) Pleasant told me that one of our MNer mates was there too-he attended both of my past MN seminars! I didn't get to see him sadly but I hope he was as inspired as I was.

moondog · 30/05/2014 14:13

Lovely DI folk and official organisation

HairyMaclary · 30/05/2014 14:22

I'm C. Will send this evening. Sorry for delay, still having child are issues but determined to be there!

StarlightMcKenzie · 30/05/2014 15:21

I'm sitting in the sunshine under Edinburgh Castle having just been called by DH informing me he too has now posted his form. Yay!!!!!

I have also just received my Pivotal Response Training Level 1 Certificate and understand I am one of very few in the UK, so feeling very special!!!!!

moondog · 30/05/2014 15:52

Ooh, where did you do that Star?
What new insights did it bring you?

StarlightMcKenzie · 30/05/2014 16:35

It was in Stirling and run by Drs Lynn and Robert Koegal. ON 28TH AND 29TH MAY FOR LEVEL I PRT TRAINING.

They're academics not sales people and big on hope, using the simplest things for the biggest gains, massive on Parent involvement and their empowerment.

Their works seems to be majorly about social skills development, natural reinforcers and on proving that there is no such thing as non-response to treatment.

I also learned that there has been or is about to be a good piece of research showing behavioural interventions and targeted use of impaired parts of the brain cause it to begin to repair itself.
