DLA WAIT TIMES THREAD 83

Hi all

Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Think mine has been a decline everyone. I was told on the phone that a decision was made last Wednesday and I e received no back payment 🥺 I’ll have to submit an MR. Congratulations to everyone else who’s been successful so far though x

Gutted for you 😢 Do MR a completely different Decision Maker looks at it.

For those still waiting, I called yesterday and was told I was still in a queue and this morning I received a message saying my child is entitled to DLA, that's how quickly it can happen!!! I was a NC, SD 14/07, so anyone around that date, should get their decision soon. Wishing everyone the best of luck and fairy dust ✨

Did they say still in cue to be picked up by DM? That’s what I’ve been told today xx

congratulations! My scan date it just over a week from yours so hopefully not much longer. I asked if I was defo down for the text he said yes, but sometimes it’s a letter, I’m assuming if it’s bad news they don’t send a text xx

So I spoke to them today decision was made 10th as I’ve had no payment guessing it was denied

Not necessarily it can take 3-5 days for payment to arrive in bank

What was your scan date? I’m at 8 weeks 4 days today so hoping it’s close to mine which is the 17th July

That’s exactly it, the anxiety was stopping me from calling before but now the impatience outweighs the anxiety if that makes any sense 😂
