NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

They really don’t. Some of it will be a relief as well, all the waiting, anxiety and uncertainty definitely takes it toll on top of dealing with everyday life. Xx

Great to hear another 22nd has had a positive decision. 10 weeks today for my little one with a scan date 23rd July. Here's hoping for a positive day to all 🤞🏼🤞🏼

My son’s renewal date runs out 14/10 and I sent his in June. I’ve rang twice and they told me they do them right up until the day before renewal. It’s possible yours could be done and the letter is in the post. I would ring up and double check though.

Im a scan date of 4/08.
When do you think its likely ill have a decision?

Id expect to wait until at least week commencing 12th October at current times. Anything sooner would be a bonus but you could be waiting much longer too.

Currently on hold for an update. Scan date 23rd july, been up all night with him crying. I need to get my boy help but can't without the exra money to pay for it. Really hope I can get an answer today. Will update when I've got through. Good luck all.

@Stressed1985 hopefully some good news for you. The nights can be brutal can’t they we’ve had some real bad nights currently which then makes the days bad aswell. It’s so hard to get the right help for the kids these days all I get is his age is a factor cos he’s so young! Your not alone always here for a chat x

My son’s current award expires tomorrow….i sent the renewal off and it was scanned July 6th….inhad a letter to confirm this but I’ve heard nothing…..

Thank you. Seems never-ending doesn't it. I've had to take him out of school too which is another issue. The fight never stops for any parent/carer with a child with additional needs.

I would ring them up today and ask what’s going on. They told me to ring the day before if I still hadn’t heard anything. I think they should be prioritising getting the renewals done on time tbh they’ve had my form for nearly 4 months!

Info for all:
Had a fantastic guy on the phone. He said they are currently working mid (20's) to late July for new claims. Anyone with an early july claim date, I'd encourage them to ring up. You can also request a text update to be added to your claim. I thought this was already a given as I ticked the box but apparently not the case. Good luck all. Have a good weekend. ♡

That's great! I'm the 23rd, I was going to call late this afternoon to see if I've finally moved to a DM. Last person I spoke to said he's put me down for a text, hopefully they stick to it.

Omg the dm just rang me because I had a page missing it was just about pensions ect so I answered over the phone. She then said it's positive news and she will put in the letter the rates ect. I am absolutely shocked 😲 I was so sure he would be declined I'm so happy for him but a little emotional
