It always does that, don’t panic. I think it’s just the gap between decisions and payments, the decisions early this week won’t show until tomorrow/early next week so it’s only really people calling and rarely getting the text that we see quicker xx

Md234 · 01/10/2026 09:20

I wouldn’t see pending payments with my bank so unless I ring it would be either when it went in or I got a decline letter but think I’ll leave it till next week and ring again middle of next week maybe as my scan dates 28/7 and don’t think they r quite at that point yet xx

Someone on here said to me that it could still be with a DM this week and change quickly. I remember when my eldest was awarded, I rang on a Monday to change something and she said the decision had already been made on the Friday and the back pay landed on the Wednesday. A lot could change. It’s 10 weeks today. It could be another week or 2. I think they are averaging 12-15 weeks atm. I may call next week but change my back details so it doesn’t look like I’m nagging lol

I saw someone that went from waiting to be picked up to with a DM and decided all in the same day. On the flip side a friend of mine scan date 20/7 had a call from a DM last Wednesday and decision still hasn’t been made so you never know xx

You just don’t know do you. My friend was 2 weeks in front and got an answer after 8 weeks. There is also so much speculation about how they process and prioritise the claims too. With my eldest it took 6 months of waiting x

It's crazy how it all works, I don't understand the system and how they do things but nvm. The only thing I'm hopeful for is that I don't think they'll have to reach out to anyone as I sent a lot of evidence (108 pages) ehcp, combined ADHD assessment report, EP report, Paeds report, senco report, teacher report, provison maps, needs timetable, teacher report, the old senco teacher report, drs and it still doesn't feel enough bit fingers crossed for him xx

Hopefullyitcan · 01/10/2026 11:03

I guess no news still brings hope. I really thought it would be this week but it's looking increasingly unlikely.

VanillaTonka · 01/10/2026 11:13

Just been on Facebook with the scan dates post, I’m the 13th but I’ve seen May and June still waiting decisions but also seen loads of end of July already decided so if anyone’s that week fingers crossed you will hear soon! I thought they did it in scan date order but not sure from that post!

Don’t know if it’s good or bad, as I used to work in IT systems so have an understanding of how processes work. Obviously, don’t know anything fact unless I’ve managed to drag a more techy call handler into random workflow conversations then confirmed a couple of theories I think some have thought I’ve totally lost the plot 🤣 xx

Mumto4and5 · 01/10/2026 11:49

So I rang today to see if evidence has arrived from school. They rang the school Monday and asked to confirm a few things very basic questions . My daughter’s teacher then has written a report for me which I sent over Tuesday. It’s all scanned on the system and the case is being actively looked at by a decision maker. They’ve said to expect a decision by 2 weeks, if not to ring back on the 15th October. My scan date is the 28th July . X

Md234 · 01/10/2026 12:00

@Mumto4and5 same scan date as me!! So yours is being looked at by a decision maker then? That’s really good hopefully you get a decision soon!!xx

Babybell8 · 01/10/2026 12:16

My scan date is 24th July but I got a cover letter and more evidence I want to send in worried it won’t get there in time. Got a feeling they will be doing our claim this week or next as they are in the 20s now

Have you called yet today lovey? You could do tracked 24 and post it somewhere where it’s not been picked up yet ie the postbox nearest me is 7am but a bit further down the road is 5pm so I buy the label on Royal Mail app, print it off and tape it to the envelope, post in the 5pm one. It’s always got to them the following lunchtime so it could get to them tomorrow xx

Md234 · 01/10/2026 12:26

I’ve just spoke to someone but even more confused he was lovely but was speaking so fast and said my sons claim is currently in queue 2? I have no clue I’m really confused and when I asked he said i can’t see a lot just that it’s in queue 2 x

Called pretty early I think was like 10am still waiting in a Que to be picked up. Ahh ok I thought tracked had to be done in a post office didn’t know you could print and send in a post box. I’ll do that now. Thank you so much I got a feeling we will be next week so if I get this posted today couldn’t be in with a chance of it being scanned in time. Are you calling today? Xx

Correct me if I'm wrong - I think that means the qué for a DM as the first que is for registering your claim and scanning it into the system xx

You can also scan it before you put in the letter box on the Royal Mail app for proof of postage, so much easier for me as can drive next to it. No need to have to get the boys out of the car and cheaper as shops always equals them wanting something 🤣
Ive been debating it, but reckon mines still going to be in the queue still as it’s 30/7 and my MR is 6/7 last call was waiting and that’s an even slower queue xx

@Babybell8also I do large letter even if it’s small as you don’t get the tracking or delivery photo on small envelope size xx
