Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

My current claim expires Saturday I still haven’t heard if it will continue

I braved a call. SD 23/7. My claim hasn’t been allocated to a decision maker yet 😭😭😭😭

AHH well done, I know how hard and daunting those calls are but thanks to the members in here especially @Emz73 I called and it wasnt as bad as I thought. I have seen many people call and it not be with a DM and then a few hours later or the next day have a decision - it changes quickly. Keep positive (I know it's hard). I'm the 23rd too xx

Did they tell you if yours was with a DM yet x

I called Monday and they said still waiting but he put a note down for me to receive a text of awarded (not sure they will) xx

Thank you, I hope it’s not too long. I’m feeling quite deflated and anxious today. There’s a lot going on in life, in many areas. And at the moment I just feel like I’m constantly waiting and in limbo. 😭

I'm exactly the same, I said to someone today I feel like I'm falling apart and everything is on top of me and out of it all if I could only have one positive thing, it would be that my son gets what he deserves. Sending you hugs and strength, you've got this, keeping my fingers crossed for all of us! Xx

ive set one up for my 7 yo. Whether it works or not is a different story but I will update when I know

How did you do this?

I googled get proof of benefit, went on the Gov.uk and created an account with his details on. It asked me to verify his identity so I used his passport & it made an account for him

New claim scanned on 28th July. Called up this morning, hasn't been picked up by a DM yet. The lady on option 4 was very helpful though, and checked what i had sent and said there should be enough information to enable them to make a decision.

Gradually losing hope of anything this week. Looking at 10 weeks on Friday. It's been a long wait

Me too. 10 weeks tomorrow. Google is saying 12-15 weeks average. It’s all so stressful and a huge cause of anxiety

I’ll be 10 weeks Friday 😩 they still say not with a decision maker yet and can’t update further and they will send a text when they have a decision. Xx

I called yesterday to change bank details.
They said still waiting for DM but my scan date is early August so wasn't expecting anything yet...I agree that the wait is agonising :( x

Anyone seen decisions made on scan dates from 23rd July? I've only seen up to 22nd so far.

I’ve seen 1 on Facebook they called and found out. Lots 20-22nd receiving payments/ pending payments. Guess most decisions this week will have a delay in people seeing the payment with processing being 3-5 working days, no weekend payments either so will only be mon-thurs x

im thinking maybe they’ll start on the later 20s next week hopefully!xx

Anyone woke up to funds? 24th July scan date was told by dla not much longer :(
