Hi all

Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Literally just got off the phone. No update not been looked at yet. She said it won’t be much longer though so that’s something I guess. Option 4 are a lot nicer and helpful then option 2 but you do end up waiting longer for someone to answer.

Good luck to you to. I just hope that they take mental health disabilities seriously as physical. My son is mainly anxiety and ocd. Worrying he won’t get accepted

My scan date is 17th July nothing heard so far but mine is a NC so that’s probably why. I’d definitely call them for sure as your expiry date is within the week x

Called again and she said my sons claim is with a case manager don’t know what that means or how long from then till a decision

You never know, when I called about mine in May I was told it was with a DM. I later found out the decision was actually made that same day 🤞xx

Worried he won’t get it it’s mainly anxiety and ocd but it’s causing physical symptoms. I sent the letter we was referred to camhs with the nhs and school nurse letter also. The wait is driving me insane

It seemed to change quickly didn’t it as when you rang before they said it hadn’t been looked at x

I literally called a few hours ago if that! So must of been passed over in the last few hours. So changes very quick. I’ll likely call again end of the day x

Im the same seems like forever. I’ve not done myself any favours having claims for both my boys at the same time one’s a MR so anyone’s guess how long that’ll be 😩

I thought a case manager was a step before the DM?

Same thing I think from what I’ve asked and googled

Im already stressing if she’s declined the wait for the MR. Honestly my mind really is too active at times lol xx

On pick up from school today the teacher did tell me he’s had a request for information today about my little girl. Wondering if this means it’s with the DM x

Just waiting at the GP at the minute so think I’ll miss the time to call before they close 😤 her teacher said it was passed on from the school office to confirm a few things which the head teacher was able to without him there. He’s doing a report for me tonight of her baseline reception test and the care plan in place at school etc. so I’ll post that tomorrow too . X

Just called and still in the queue ATM for a DM but he was so lovely and said I've put down for them to text you and you can call back and find out rates once you get a text.

Yes so first time I called it was still waiting and can’t update further, second time I was told it’s with a dm I called again and they said they don’t know why I was told that then I called again and they said they don’t get told that info and that it’s just gone up in the Que and can take upto 25weeks 🙄🤯
