Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Same, it’s made me feel really anxious. I’ve been struggling to sleep and feel really stressor about it. I don’t even know why it’s affected me like this xx

Hope there's some good news for people this week too🤞🏻 last week felt a bit slow with awards etc (could just be me). Im the 23rd and I've seen a lot of 20ths done and some 21st, hoping I hear something this week!

my son renewal ends 27 October scan date 7 July
just woke to 416.90 if I have worked out correctly I think he been awarded from middle rate care to high rate care and high rate mobility finger crossed for everyone and good luck 🎊🎉

Yeah it definitely seemed slow. Either was a lot of claims during them few days or people just haven’t updated who have been awarded. I thought they may of been up to 25th by Friday just gone lol well I was hoping 😂 xx

Fingers crossed you get your decision soon. I'm scan date 29th July. We're so close now 😀

Hopefully they will be at the beginning of July by the end of this week

I called last thing on Friday to check progress after they manually registered out NC. I was told it's in a queue for a DM, so I'd guess still a few weeks. Anxiety is really starting to kick in

What is your scan date?

Ive just called them to check my daughters claim was registered because last week they couldn't find her application or evidence under my name. Its all been sorted now and I asked if it was with a DM and he said they have taken away the part of the system that shows if its with a DM or not. So have no idea ha im 4/08 so probs another 2 weeks.
I got through after about 10 mins on hold

When I rang last week they said it was still in the queue to be picked up by decision maker but it’s been in that queue about 4 weeks now every time I’ve rang they’ve said the same thing so I’m guessing it’s a bit of a wait still. Hopefully we all get some good news in the next couple of weeks x

@Amyd35 im expecting a decline aswell I’ve been saying this I wish they would just get on with it so I can then put it for the mr lol x

I’ve persuaded myself it’s a decline too. But I know in my mind she deserves the award and has all this evidence to show this. I think it just plays on our minds don’t it. Xx

My child has a tic disorder and it's still a very misunderstood condition. That's why I'm worried 😟 I'll fight it till the end though! Atm what confuses me is they don't seem to give anyone lower rate care they just decide it even though they have clearly proved they at least should get lower 🤔

@Mumto4and5 that’s it! I believe my son does deserve it but I also know how unfair systems can be! I’ll fight for what I think he deserves it’s just nerve wracking when waiting so long x

That’s a good point actually, I don’t think I’ve seen someone say they’ve been awarded Lower xx

Can I ask please if anyone has a child who is going through what my son has. And was you accepted. So he’s 9 and he’s anxiety and ocd is bad. He still wets the bed wears pants but they leak so always changing beds and having to wake him. He over drinks and goes to the toilet 60 times a day. Bloods been done. He can’t make decision on things he gets overwhelmed and stressed out. If he knows something is dangerous he still can’t stop himself doing it. When we’re out he walks so close to the edge of the road. If we say move away he will get closer. So always hold hands when out. He constantly thinks he’s got chest pains or and health issues. He in under went also with deviated septum and is a mouth breather wakes up every morning gagging and blocked. Will need surgery for this. He also thinks he’s going to choke when he eats so gags all the time. He worries about absolutely everything he needs constant reassurance

Just googled it - apparently low rate care is awarded to about 4% of claims, middle rate to 56% of claims and high rate to 40% of claims

Just seems odd to me x

Oh gosh I’m starting to panic now. My scan date was July 6th my current ward expires this Friday. I haven’t heard a thing!
