Date letter sent: 15/08 (Not Received until 22/08)
Current wait time: 8 weeks + 1 day (as of 23/09).

Ur letter should have the same date as ur text that’s ur scan date not the date the letter was printed out. You can also call them just to check what ur scan date is, they may be able to say if u are awarded

Could anyone help with payment date? I was paid back pay on Friday 18th. They awarded the claim on Tuesday 15th. When will the next payment be? Is it monthly or 4 weekly? The post here is so slow we haven’t had a letter yet

It will be 4 weekly, usually on a Tuesday I believe.

Could I ask what the Facebook group is called? Thanks

I had brief excitement at 4am… had a bank notification, quickly followed by disappointment it was £19 for something completely different 🤣🤣🤣
Theres payment posts on fb 15-22nd so its defo moving through July xx

🤣🤣 that would kill me!

Unfortunately I bank with a bank that does not show pending payments and usually receive notifications around 4am in the morning 😫

Yeah I have seen some as well, I have found the beginning of this week to be quiet for decision etc, anyone else or just me? Xx

Hello everyone,
my elder sons DLA renewal was received on 01/07/26 and his claim ends on 14/10/26 and I still haven’t heard anything! I just called up and the man on the phone basically said a decision hasn’t been made yet and just keep waiting and he couldn’t tell me anything else due to a system update.
My youngest son has a new claim that was received on 11/08/26 but I’m not expecting to hear back for a long time on that one.

Mine was scanned 16th June and runs out 2 days after yours, not heard anything either.
From what I can tell they literally do them at the very last minute!
And sometimes after the date.

Hi sorry for all the questions past few days just know from dates being posted DLA getting close to working my scan date so anxiety through the roof. My scan date was the 20th July then I got a letter dated 10th August with a reference number and asking for birth certificate by the time I got the letter and sent it back they got it 19th August I phoned and made sure they had it and it was returned to me 1st September. Will they still go from my scan date of the 20th July or will they go from August when they got the birth certificate?

i had to send my daughter birth certificate, the man said ID check doesn’t change where it is in the DM queue . So id hope it stays at the original date they received the forms but im not sure sorry. X

Mine doesn’t show pending either, maybe a good thing think I’d just be constantly refreshing it 🤣
I thought the same but then thought payment processing is only working days, so there’s a lag there aswell as the time difference between decision and payments. It’s only really real time stuff when people call x

Well that’s reassuring that I’m not the only one but I’m sorry you’re waiting so long too. I receive carers allowance as well which will be gone if he doesn’t receive his renewal, they don’t even give you enough time to appeal before the end date which I think is ridiculous they just cut you off.

I totally agree, my child can only accsess his special needs school with me and thats for a very small amount of time so I am not able to work.
We use his money to be able to get him there (can get transport but because he is not there at usual times and he will not use them without me its not feasible)
I can not drive,its 2 bues to get there and a 10 min walk which when you have a child that takes 60 mins to even get out the door thats not an option.
So we have to take ubers which is 100 a week.
Can get a personal allowance which is about 15 pound a week but wont make a dent really.
We pay for a mentor for an hour a week which is the only thing he really enjoys thats 200 a month let alone the extra clothes he goes through from chewing them.
And obviously thats UC mucked up as well, its really stressing me out.
I would do anything to be able to have a child that dont need all this support but we are here and I love my child so this is our life right now.

Things like this just doesnt help the stress.
