Hi all

Made a new thread for those of you who need to discuss wait times and ask questions!
Please post your scan dates etc

NC = New Claim
MR = Mandatory Reconsideration
SC = Scan Date

Im waiting on outcome of my DD's renewal due 29/09/2026

Well I rang and it’s still waiting to be dealt with! So the wait continues x

6/8 rang and told waiting for decision but couldn’t tell me exactly where it was, said they can’t see it no more due to system update. 2nd set of options then option 4 route I took. Good luck all today ringing x

I'm getting really confused, if anyone could clarify which date is the "scan date" I'd appreciate it.
So here goes,
Phoned for forms on 9th July, recieved 17th July
Sent back 20th,

Confirmation text on 23rd July
Letter dated 14th of August stating they'd recieved the forms.
I'm hoping we are close to being assessed but I've no idea which date we should be getting nervous about.

From what I’ve seen/read it seems the scan date is the date you received the text to say they have the form. When I rang DLA they say when your registration date is ( when the case worker does the admin on the application before going to a decision maker ) . So my scan date is 27th July but my registration date is 6th August. It seems some peoples claims are registered quicker than others but don’t think it has too much influence on where you are in the queue as such.

On the letter it should say we received your claim on or something like that, it’s that date x

Sounds like we’ve had the same experience! That’s actually terrible, it’s just been sat there for nearly 3 months. I don’t understand how they’ve managed to not register it or what happened on those days. As it does seem 13-15th are iffy.

I’ll update you on what they say Friday, hopefully they get on with the claims as a priority. But if there’s no movement I’ll raise it as an escalation and complaint!

Have you seen people that have called today? Seen a few payments but I suppose those decisions will have been made a few days ago with BACS processing xx

Do they generally do it day to day. So today will be like july 28th for example?

Im scan date of 4th august so wondering when it will be likely?

Yeah the post that one of the mods start at the 1st of each month, a few comments from people calling today and stating they're still in a queue and there SC are just before mine xx

That one’s driving me nuts, it won’t let me sort onto recent comments 🤣 It looks like it’s more batches of dates rather than strict date by date. There was a post this morning someone received payment from a 3/9! xx

Oh no! That's highly frustrating, that would annoy me so much🤣!!

I feel like my scan date decision is probably going to go up by a week or so and won't be until next week now possibly the week after😫 hats off to all those who waited during the time it was taking 25+ weeks! Xx

I have seen 18-22nd on Facebook for scan dates

Ohh getting close! I have no idea what my scan date is now so who knows 😂😂 I was originally told it was the date I got the text then the letter date was when it’s registered. Seen a post above saying it’s the date on the letter is your scan date, so I’m the 6th August. I have no idea 😂 I just need some patience I think, if only lol xx

I was told it was the text you receive first as that’s the scan on the system date? I think the letter means it’s now registered

Have you had a letter? Im scan date of 4th August. I havent had a letter yet.

I questioned it on my first claim as I had a text 19/5 but then I got the letter dated 22/5 saying we received your claim on 18/5 I was told the scan/submitted date was 18/5 as per the letter and the registered date was 22/5 xx

My scan date is 20th July I got a text that date to say they had my claim. Then I got a letter the 18th August asking for birth certificate but the letter was dated 10th August but letter dated the 10th August confirmed they got my form 20th July

My payment went in today from a scan date of 14/07 ... i had a payment last wednesday for a different childs claim. Also scan date of 14/07 .

MR 27/7
I've been told for over a week it's with a decision maker every time I have rung. Today I rung to change my bank details and got told it's still waiting for a case manager and there working on may/June dates so will still be a while. When I said I've rung multiple times within a week and each person told me it's with a decision maker he said maybe they wasn't as qualified and don't know what they were doing. He also said my date is in August when I said it's 27/7 he then said oh they add two weeks on 🤣 Don't know what to believe anymore so frustrating! But I've seen people in July getting results so can't be still on may/june.

N/C scan date 16/07 called today option 4. Lady told me child awarded and for how long. She gave me amount of back payment that would go in my bank any day now. Good luck everyone hope you all hear some good news soon
