Amazing! Really happy for you, the anxiety really isn’t nice! Glad the wait is finally over. Xx

I’m really glad for it all to be over 🥲 I’ve had anxiety since about 7 weeks of waiting as I’d figured that was the average, I tried ringing Friday afternoon too but couldn’t get through so that made it worse, then to be told there was a decision but the first man couldn’t tell me😵‍💫 I went straight over the edge of anxiety the poor lady on the phone bless her heart she sounded relived that she’d told me😂 I’m just glad the waiting game is over, fingers crossed and good luck to everyone this week and forever more, don’t let the anxiety talk you into thinking it’s been declined, sometimes it’s a lot better than what you’d think🤍

@Emz73 replying to both you! I actually managed to get through by some luck✨ my daughter has been awarded Higher rate care and low rate mobility, the lady on the phone said she could literally hear my voice shaking my anxiety had well and truly got ahold of me😵‍💫 for reference, my daughter is 6.5 years old, has suspected ADHD and anxiety, no diagnosis as she’s not old enough to be put on the pathway where we live, I submitted her sensory evaluation from 3 years ago, I’d accessed her medical records to retrieve the notes from many paediatric mental health appointments, a physiotherapy report, speech and language report, no recent evidence from school, only from reception (she’s just gone into year 2), school wrote that “she struggled previously but currently doesn’t show any concerns”, which me and them know is not correct but clearly the evidence I’ve gathered outweighs what they said, I honestly don’t remember what I’d wrote because I’ve been so focused on what her school wrote and thinking it would get her declined, so glad the decision maker saw straight through it, feeling so lucky and grateful today, a really pleasant end to a really dreadful day, our scan date was the 17/7 btw to anyone who got to the end of this very emotional paragraph💖

I’m so happy for you xx

Bless you I’d be exactly the same. I’ve been driving myself mad with both of mine, the anxiety is awful. I’m so pleased for you, and that you’ve got a great outcome 💕xx

I just caved and called again, got through to a super nice woman. She seemed shocked I’d not had a decision yet, and kept saying ‘wow this is an old one’ eventually she realised it hadn’t been registered to the system, I’m not sure what that means?

Does anyone else know what that means?

She’s manually registered it and it’s gone to the top of the list for a case manager and she’s told me to call back on Friday.

I’m not even sure how this has happened. They’ve had the form since July 10th and scanned it in July 14th.

Hello, same as me. I called up and they manually registered it for me, they will register it under your scan date. It’s been with a decision maker for 2 weeks now so hoping I will hear from them soon.

I asked on Facebook and it seems a few people in this scan date didn’t have it properly registered! I’m the 13th and no update yet but will let you know if I hear anything.

I had this with mine scanned 30/7 but wasn’t registered until 2/9 then I had a birth certificate request.
So when you sent the forms it’s scanned into system 1, a caseworker has to fully register it into system 2 before it can go into the queue for decision. It’s when it’s registered you get sent the confirmation letter and they request anything further I.e birth certificate as they do ID checks etc xx

Md234 · 22/09/2026 10:10

@Friends94 when was your scan date? They said mine was the 28th July but still waiting to hear anything back.

Mines the 23rd of July - called last week and said it was still in a queue. But over the last couple of weeks I have seen quite a few end of July ones been done. Tempted to call and see where it's at. Xx

Md234 · 22/09/2026 10:14

@Friends94 Yeah when I called mine was still waiting to be picked up by the decision maker. I think I’m going to call today and just see I don’t doubt for one minute that I’ll get the same answer today but it’s worth the try lol x

Yeah🤣 I'm expecting the same answer tbh, I really thought this week would be into the early 20s mid 20s but doesn't seem like it x

How strange, I wonder how that’s happened. When I originally called up on beginning of August to get my scan date. They told me it hadn’t been registered so they’d need to manually do it, so I cannot understand how it’s still not done. And I’ve called twice since then. It’s pretty poor no one has picked up on this.

They told me they’ve put me down for a call back when a decision has been made but also told me to call Friday.

They have the birth certificate as I sent a copy off with the evidence and they accepted it. So hopefully that makes things quicker!

I wonder if this is why I never got a text or letter? Despite them telling me it was manually registered and a letter had been generated in Aug 3rd.

I mean evidently it wasn't manually registered at all.

I’m kind of frustrated at the whole ordeal now.

I did get a text but not letter. My scan date is the 13th and I called on the July 30th to confirm it was all okay and they said it needed to be registered, I assumed that would mean they did it but nope. It was registered on the 7th of September so it means it was just ignored for weeks which sounds like what has happened with you!

I would call back on Friday and then if no progress ask for an escalation as to why it has been so delayed etc but hopefully you won’t need to do that and you get told asap!
