Apparently they're still working on the 12th Oct since last week Monday..

loopiluna · 20/12/2021 15:44

@DeludedWench I've not phoned again but I think I'll give them a phone tomorrow. I'll keep you posted. Xxx

DeludedWench · 20/12/2021 16:17

@Jneill2021 I hope they can emphasise and you get the result you want ❤

@LovingLanz5 still?!? Although, they do have a new automated message about the new covid variant, and I spoke to several who were working from home. I wonder if that's why they slowed down? 🤔

@loopiluna please do! Definitely want to see you ladies get through this ❤

Side note, does anyone know if there is any chance of our back pay hitting the account before the 3-5 days they state? I mean, would be awesome to get it before Christmas for obvious reasons lol.

mum42boys82 · 20/12/2021 17:47

That is fantastic news @DeludedWench, you have waited soooooo long.

Well I was awarded middle rate care for my boy (decission made yday - exactly 10 weeks and 2 days from claim if that helps anyone) , I am so happy , they have authorised payment so should be in for xmas eve, That wait was a very trying time. Also any one (especially single parents) remember anything middle rate or above phone tax credits straight away as soon as decision is made as they sort it out then and there and award back date from DLA claim. Hope everyone on here gets good news before xmas and keep pestering them.

Alk19 · 20/12/2021 18:36

@DeludedWench fantastic news I know when I was awarded on a Saturday money went in on Wednesday so should hopefully be same Wednesday is a general paying day for them Xx

DeludedWench · 20/12/2021 18:56

@mum42boys82 thank you sweet. I feel so relaxed now.

@Alk19 Wednesday won't be too bad, I think I could work with that lol.

LovingLanz5 · 21/12/2021 10:27

@LovingLanz5 i heard back last week and it took 4 and a half weeks from applying online

LovingLanz5 · 23/12/2021 13:11

@SBParker99
Thank you. That's not a bad wait at all. Tax credits updated the next day.

Parkle2 · 24/12/2021 10:20

I just called. Form scanned on 18th October, so it will be 10 weeks on Monday. Got through straight away, the advisor said they are taking 10 weeks and mine hasn't been looked at so it's likely going to be in the new year now. I expected it I guess 🤣

hibbledibble · 24/12/2021 21:46

I'm new to this. My form was sent roughly 10 weeks ago. Based on this thread, does this mean that a decision is expected in the next few weeks? I appreciate it will be delayed by all upcoming bank holidays.

DeludedWench · 27/12/2021 11:30

Hey all! I hope your holidays went well!

How are we all doing?

Jneill2021 · 27/12/2021 11:54

@DeludedWench my christmas was lovely apart from the clean up lol how was yours ? xxx

LovingLanz5 · 27/12/2021 12:45

Yes like you said the clean up was horrendous but was a lovely. Did you both have a lovely day? Even better not having to stress about you know what....back date money came in on Xmas eve.

DeludedWench · 27/12/2021 15:03

It was a wonderful Christmas here! Even hubby wasn't The Grinch this year and is STILL festive! Currently watching hubby and Rowan build a lego set Rowan got from my parents! ❤

Jneill2021 · 27/12/2021 15:59
