Okay. So our claim has gone to medical services, because they needed doctors advice as its so rare. So I should hear something this week.

The lady did say something that made me think but I don't want to look too much into it. But she said "it goes to medical services to make sure you get the correct award".. Now if that means "its a yes and we just need to figure out if it's middle or high" or "it can still be no award", I don't know.

Just off the phone to them, still in a que to be allocated by a DM, I am the 8/10 and the guy on phone seemed clueless as he said they were still dealing with end of sept -more contradiction from Yesterday as they said it was up to 12/10 this week. He told me to try again at the END of next week. I am phoning every day now .

@DeludedWench that's fantastic news, I would take that as positive , I hope you get the final decision soon. keep phoning them.

Yes I spoke to a rude gentleman who clearly wanted to finish up for the day. They are still dealing with 12/10 decision time now is 9.5 weeks(take me to Monday next week) I could be waiting after Xmas he said (kind of lost my rag) I asked if a manager could ring me back in morning.

@LovingLanz5 I have been told many different stories by them for the past 2 weeks , I am at a loss, mine was 8/10 so I will be 10 weeks on Friday, I kind of thought i would at least be on someones desk not still waiting on allocation . I think I am going down the manager route , last week I got told they were going to be doing up to the 5/10 and this man who couldn't be bothered tonight said they were still on end of September, at that point I nearly fell of my chair. I just want , like all of us a decision so I know what else is available , carers and child tax credits will be another wait(granted not as long) but this department are the worst for time . I have never experienced anything like it and they seem to have got worse.

Is that maybe ur UC journal ? I think you can contact UC through it, I am still on the old style benefits so I am not entirely sure.

Aww no bless you. I feel your pain that's how I've been also. Always seems to be on our minds. Hopefully when you call its positive, I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow or maybe Friday sick to my stomach of that awful hold music

How you feeling @DeludedWench sorry there was no change. I relented and called after 40mins in hold i cut off, I thought I can't be miserable again 2night, already pee'd having to cancel my Lanzarote Xmas holiday because of gov restrictions and this long wait tipped me over the edge yesterday had a good cry. My husband gave me some words of wisdom(he is quite laid back) whereas I like to be in control and I'm not and it's really throwing me off sync. Clear your mind, chill out tonight and tomorrow then try Friday 1st thing. Xx

Aw ladies, really feel for you all, it's so draining and exhausting waiting! I phoned today, my sons were received on the 15th Oct. I was told it was with the decision maker and they will definitely have made their decision this week and the decision letter will arrive next week. Hope that's true as it sounds like they are just telling people a lot of bs! We need some good news round here!!

That's positive news, thank you for letting me know.. I may give a sneaky call 2mora afternoon. Wishing you all the best.. when I called Tues the rude gentleman was like they still on the 12th.. he was being a shite prob because my call got through after 5.20pm lol

@LovingLanz5 Aw what an arse, doesn't matter the time, he's working, so he should be professional! Think it's awful the way some of these people are on the phone, they bloody know they are answering to anxious parents and carers! A bit of compassion and understanding would go a long way! Hope you have some luck tomorrow, my fingers and toes are crossed for you! Xxx

They received mine on the 15th October was told on Monday it’s a 16 week wait, might ring back tomorrow and see if if get a different answer
