Waiting time for DLA Third Thread

I phoned up today will be 10weeks on Friday, was told that it was in a holding pile with the decision maker. How long could that take?

@lozca93 did they tell you when it was gave to the decision maker? Mine was gave to them friday and got the decision the following thursday x

@CloMo1995 no nothing yet I rang today as its 8 weeks tomorrow but no change so thinking maybe next week hopefully might have been looked at I did manage to send in a bit more evidence so I'm just hoping for a good outcome x

@Jneill2021 when I rung the time before I found out my sons claim had been successful, the man told me they are trying to keep it as close to 8 weeks as possible so fingers crossed for you🤞🤞xx

@CloMo1995 thank you I just hope he gets accepted as would come in so handy for sensory toys plus he likes to bite his clothes so for ever buying him new bits lol xx

@LovingLanz5 - it is a bit of a travel to GOSH, but I don't mind as they are brilliant over there. SA is very rare and GOSH is the only place with a specialist x

Jneil Have you looked at Family Fund, Caudwell children, variety and Newlife for sensory toys?

@jneill2021 we finally got a decision I rang earlier my little one was awarded hrc nearly 13 weeks since the forms were scanned we finally have a decision so pleased for him 😊

@Imitatingdory I did go online to get family fund forms sent out but still haven't recieved them, I will have to check the other ones never heard of them, thank you xx

Didn't get dla so I've put in a reconsideration which takes another 8weeks! Explained everything I do during the day and night and what happens during flare ups.

@Jneill2021 I’ve been 9 weeks 4 days just phoning daily now @Lozca93 did you phone again today to be told or did they send you a letter x

Phoned today and was told so filled in the form on the phone

@Lozca93 did you hand in any evidence I’m expecting to have to do a mr as my daughter is still being diagnosed so not much to send apart from consultants letters for eeg and ecg and her speech and language and neuro letter x
