Ok, so, i lost 7lb. i dont know how!!

Wilma55 · 11/07/2024 10:47

Wow @RedPony1 that's fantastic, more than made up for your gain.

I've just been to pilates and had a choc hobnob as a reward! And I didn't go to weigh in on Tuesday. Got a holiday in 10 weeks so need to knuckle down.

In good news have discovered a zero alcohol cider which is 5.5 syns a can, about half the normal and tastes OK (to me anyway)

What's the cider brand? I found out that zero beers eg Lidls Perlenbacher 0.0% are only 70 cal a bottle - half a normal beer

RedPony1 · 11/07/2024 14:47

Thank you@Wilma55, it was a good surprise!

Love the hobnob as a reward haha 😂

Wilma55 · 12/07/2024 08:03

@BackWednesdays the cider was Thatchers which I like anyway as not too fizzy, it's in a blue tin.

First week down and I lost 9 pounds which has been a good start to the 5 and a half stone I need to lose. Feeling very motivated now.

Wilma55 · 14/07/2024 08:40

Yes! Well done wherearetherabbitsgone thats a fantastic start! Keep that motivation going and don't be disappointed by a smaller loss next week.

Well done!!

Wherearetherabbitsgone · 17/07/2024 17:54

Thank you, I am weighing in tonight and hoping for a 2 pound loss. I've fed the kids but won't eat myself until after I get back, might have a treat but try to stay within sync.

Wherearetherabbitsgone · 18/07/2024 07:03

I lost 4 pounds in my second week, so 13 pounds overall. While looking for low syn takeaways I noticed a doner kebab (minus the wrap) is less that 15 syns so I picked one up on my way home for my dinner.

RedPony1 · 18/07/2024 15:49

Amazing!! well done!!

I maintained, i can only blame it on not eating much fruit or veg or drinking enough though

TomWambsgansSwans · 20/07/2024 10:07

Argh I put on 2.5lbs this week - I've been eating heavy food and craving sugar massively in recent weeks.

Wherearetherabbitsgone · 26/07/2024 07:36

I lost 1.5pounds this week, so am just over a stone down overall. I think I am going to need to re-think my long term plan. I eat my hexb in the morning but that leaves me hungry/craving something with a crunch as an evening snack. I think if I could keep my hexb for the evening I would be happier.

TomWambsgansSwans · 27/07/2024 11:49

Maintain for me this week - I'm planning to use it as a kick up the bum to turn the ship around!

Wherearetherabbitsgone · 27/07/2024 21:13

Today has been better for me. I had bacon, mushroom and poached egg for breakfast so still have my hexb for this evening. I'm looking forward to a small sandwich with some low syn crisps 😁

TomWambsgansSwans · 10/08/2024 11:58

That's good @Wherearetherabbitsgone!

I lost -0.5lbs at ghis morning's weigh-in.

I'm on holiday this week and am planning to stay mostly on track! We have just done a food shop with lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and just a few treat meals (lasagne and pizza) but otherwise will aim to stay on track!

Hello

me and DH are joining.. again... for real this time? lets hope so!

we have to take toddler along, so will be a weigh in, quick chat and leave routine.

I hate diets... but this time I have decided to see it as going along to see people in same boat and who are rooting for our weight loss too.

Calorie counting has not worked out for me because I stress eat and have no accountability or support or anything for motivation. Have about 2 stone to shed, DH needs to lose around 8 st I think.

Wilma55 · 13/08/2024 15:40

Could you take it in turns to look after toddler/stay to meeting? Some groups welcome children....others don't! Good luck and welcome onboard.

NOTSUREWHATIMDOINHERE · 13/08/2024 16:20

Thank you 😊 we will work something out.

Wherearetherabbitsgone · 15/08/2024 18:00

I've lost 2 pounds since the last time I posted 3 weeks ago. It's coming down very slowly but I am OK with this. I'm eating good 90% of the week and I suspect it should be easier in the autumn when I have less family get togethers.

NOTSUREWHATIMDOINHERE · 16/08/2024 10:52

Made it to first group and it was good. However yesterday was day 1 and I went over syns because I was starving as was not prepared. I have a big appetite, feels like its a hormonal thing.

Today I will have less syns to balance it out for weigh in on Wednesday.

I've around 2 and half stone to lose. Husband wants to lose around 6 stone.

Tallgirlsrock · 17/08/2024 22:15

I joined in June. Lost 5lb in first week, then got COVID and lost 6lb the next week. Got slimmer of the month for June. Gained 0.5lb the next 2 weeks (one of which was my Birthday week). I'm now 1lb off getting my 1.5 stone award and I weigh in on Tuesday.
I was mortified when I first stepped on those scales I have 7 and a half stone to lose in total.

Wilma55 · 20/08/2024 10:34

Well done @Tallgirlsrock and good luck at weigh in @NOTSUREWHATIMDOINHERE . How is your partner doing?

I went back to group for WI this morning after a gap of 7 weeks. Have put on 3lbs so am now 6 over target. Away next week camping so booked a holiday. Need to take control and start recording my food again.
