I've returned to SW this week.

I lost 6 stone 3 years ago and have gained three back.
Despite my best attempts at calorie counting, fasting etc, SW is the only thing that I can stick to consistently and that works

So I am back to it, having a great week good wise and feeling very motivated
Gaining so much back has been awful and I miss how good I felt when I was slimmer

So if anyone is joining or a member maybe we could have a thread where we can share ideas, keep each other motivated and offer support ?

Good for you, its hard at times when the determination fades isn’t it. I had a bad day monday and drank way too much at the weekend which meant i only lost a pound this week but at least its a pound less not gained. Doing well on the food side, got a nice smelling greek aubergine stew in the slow cooker for tonight, its the bloody weekend wine that gets me 🍾🤨 i am determined that this weekend i will only drink on Sunday with my mothers day roast being cooked by DS who is also loosely following a weight loss / health plan, he is doing really well but does take more exercise than lazy arse here!

I have lost a total of 18 pounds and also have 2 stone more to lose, possibly a bit more but two seems a good target.

Managed again last night, once i get past 7 its easier, its the 5 - 7 slot when i start thinking mmm a glass ( or 3 ) would be nice. Its a bit of an experiment to see if i lose more not drinking, if its only a pound or two then bring on next weekend 🥂😂
Had thai noodles for dinner and tonight DS is cooking his first roast dinner, so lots of veg and no yorkshire puddings for me.whens your weigh in day? I have switched mine from monday to friday.

Yes, used breadcrumbs. It was low syn chicken Kiev from skinnyvoilet.com would make again it was lush. I really wanted a drink last night but managed to stay strong 💪. Going to weigh myself Wednesday. How lovely for mother day enjoy.

B - egg on toast

T- roast pork, lots of veg and new potatoes with garlic and paprika in the actifry.

That’s as far as I’ve got today.

Sounds lovely, i’m afraid plans for total abstinence have already gone awry, the dinner smells lush and DS has set out wine glasses #nowillpower but i haven't eaten at all yet been too busy setting up my mothers day present from other DS who got me an Alexa show.
Your food so far sounds good and wed seems a sensible day for a weigh in, i hated Monday as any weekend excess showed!

Ooh, I've not seen this thread before! I'm in, please. I'm 2 and half stone down, five to go.
Today has been a bit of a challenge! I'm squeaking in my syn allowance by the skin of my teeth, if you don't count the single small roasty I had, to check out my son's kitchen skills!

How do you all find tracking best? I alternate between using my phone and using a notebook.

I find it pretty tedious though!

I just write everything in a small diary and log any losses or gains on weigh in day. You are doing amazing well done!

Iv had fruit and yoghurt then two hard boiled eggs wrapped in wafer thin ham as the munchies set in after last nights wine 😁 leftover roast later with lots of veg and probably ryvita rye cakes with more ham for lunch.

I’ve had my soup with bread (b).
When I feel my self getting peckish I’m going to have fruit and yoghurt.
Later will be spag Bol with a bit of 50% lighter cheese rest of my hea I’ve used milk for cups of tea.

Please feel free to correct me if I’m going wrong any where as I’m not a member of SW just trying to follow. 😊

I've been doing IF at the same time, so no breakfast- but I'm not sure it's wise. I'm rethinking.

I had a muller light yogurt. Lunch will be cheese on toast with pickled onions and mushrooms. HEXa and b, speed.

Dinner is going to be a spatchcock chicken with preserved lemon on it, cooked on top of basmati rice, so it's in the oven on a timer. Only took 5 minutes, and all I need to do later is some veg. Iceland are doing frozen sugar snap peas and tenderstem broccoli, and they are great!

My scales has gone in another room so I can't weigh daily.

I've started eating breakfast. I was doing 16:8, but think it may be making constipation worse so am trialling breakfast to see how it affects that and my over all eating/weight loss.
