Hola I'm back from my syn binge! Straight back on it today.

L - bacon, fried egg and dairylea cheese slice (hea) in a muffin (heb) with some tomato sauce (1/2 syn) as a McMuffin sort of idea

T - garlic and herb spatchcock chicken (2.5 syns) with SW chips and peas

S - strawberries, apple and some cheese (hea)

the aldi meatballs are 1/2 syn for 3 @Blondeshavemorefun Smile

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2020 11:29

1/2 for 3. Sounds good

I don’t mind the sw free ones this small and costly and can only
Buy Iceland

Where as I shop in Aldi anyway xx

The M&S mini meatballs are free too and delish!

My menu today:

Breakfast: Dorset muesli (HEXB), banana and mullerlight yog (0.5 Syns)

Lunch - roasted veggies, cous cous, HEXA feta

Dinner - M&S gammon and honey glaze (5.5 Syns), dry roast pots, loads of veg.

Contemplating a pot of no sugar jelly, some fruit and maybe an Alpen light bar (3 Syns)!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2020 20:24

Aldi were nice and easy as local to me

Tho I just go to m&s as their tinned steak is free

Is Aldi’s one ?

I used to love alpen but I find the Benifit - yet again Aldi nice. Their slated caramel is yummy

nuttymomma · 17/05/2020 20:28

well it didn't go too great today but I'm not going to lie about it. Honesty will help me get back on track.

B - toast (brown bread), flora light, glass of milk
L - plain scone that DD baked (didn't want to refuse as she's trying to keep herself busy bless her)
D - roast beef, gravy, mash potato

snacks - diet coke, dairy milk bar, wispa bar, plain crisps

Bloody awful I know.

I did walk the dog and do an hour online exercise class which is more exercise effort than I did last week.

Tomorrow is another day though!

LeoTimmyandVi · 17/05/2020 21:30

Tomorrow is indeed another day @nuttymomma - well done on the exercise too!

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/05/2020 22:06

Not that bad. The widow and crisps will be in your syns

Then scone and dairy milk

Have less next 2 days and sure will equal out

just had a look on the app and it says aldi hunters stewed steak, canned is 6.5 syns for 400g @Blondeshavemorefun

it's not the worst thing you could've done @nuttymomma! plus it was the weekend, everyone deserves a treat or two, or three, at the weekend Grin

I'm trying an SP day today, or as close as I can get to one.

L - homemade tomato soup and a couple of crackers (4 syns)

T - chilli with cheese (hea), some carrot chips and going to try and make a tortilla bowl out of a ww wrap (heb)

S - got lots of fruit just now so going to try and cram in an apple, pear, some strawberries and some raspberries!

the soup has a tin of baked beans in which I know shouldn't be had on an SP day as it's just free rather than speed or protein but whizzed up in the soup with veg I'm sure it'll be ok..

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2020 12:33

Thanks @jingleandtonic

Weird how some brands differ so much in syns esp meat

B toast b ham eggs beans

L trying the frozen sw chicken carbonara

T chilli and rice and veg and cheese a

Melanin micro now. Not sure about it

Most of sw meal rank

Only one I love is the chicken risotto and their meatballs and tom sauce And the steak and swede mash or something like that

I may be having soup as well as smells rank :(

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2020 13:44

Awful start to the day with food! I'm such an emotional eater and I'm worried about what to do about the kids going back to school (well two of them) anyway got a load of info through from a school this morning about what will happen if the go back on the 8th and I've ate shit all morning while I've tried to decide what to do for the best (need to let school know what I'm doing)
Made my decision and feel much happier so I'm just going pretend this morning didn't happen!
L-ham omelette
D-sausage casserole baked potato and asparagus

troppibambini · 18/05/2020 14:13

Jingle I wouldn't worry about the beans they used to be a p anyway and you could have them on sp xx

troppibambini · 18/05/2020 14:14

Sorry about the xx I've been texting all morning it's habit!

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2020 14:30

Bless you @troppibambini

You don’t have to send kids and won’t be fined

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2020 14:31

@JingleAndTonic I don’t know how sp days work
But sure one tin of beans won’t damage

OP posts:
troppibambini · 18/05/2020 16:40

Blondes that's the decision I came toGrin
I feel like a weight has been lifted!

JingleAndTonic · 18/05/2020 17:12

@Blondeshavemorefun glad it was good! i have a few of the iceland meals lurking in the freezer but they give me the fear so they're for absolute desperate times 😹 and SP days are where you only have speed or protein foods, no free things like pasta or rice but you can still have hea and heb and 10 syns!

@troppibambini ah i didn't know they used to count as p, i'll just go with that then the same way i include peas and sweetcorn as speed Grin they are veg after all! glad you feel better now, i'm sure you've not done any damage

supersalmon1 · 18/05/2020 19:25

Hi all, can I join in? I joined online 2 weeks ago - DD is now 7 months so feel it's the right time. I did SW after DS and it was really successful but need to get back on it to lose the last bit of baby weight.
Today was - banana, wholemeal pitta with salad and ham, copious cups of tea, dinner will be spicy grilled chicken with freekeh and salad...and a massive glass of wine (to remove the memory of another day of home schooling).

LeoTimmyandVi · 18/05/2020 19:39

Welcome @supersalmon1 - I am very new here too, just finding my feet Smile!

Breakfast - Dorset cereal (HEXB), mullerlight (0.5) and banana
Lunch - Roasted veg, cous cous and feta
Dinner - SW crust less quiche and salad (1 for spray olive oil)
HEXA milk plus 3 extra Syns - all used in coffee!
HEXA feta
HEXB - muesli

Syns 4 so far - but some snack a jacks and fruit later I think!

First weigh in tomorrow - ahhh!
