Erm I can confirm, should anyone be wondering, that if you decide to save all your syns up for a weekend alcohol binge, it ends very, VERY badly.

MummyInTheNecropolis · 30/08/2020 23:09

Oh dear cherry, I hope you’re feeling better Grin

Back on track for me today:
B - banana
L - chicken salad
D - spaghetti bolognese
S - 2 hifi bars (HEB), drumstick squashies (2.5)

cherrybakewellll · 31/08/2020 08:27

Back on it today, I've decided I'm doing a sober September as I feel like alcohol is my nemesis.

B/L - Veggie brunch of quorn sausages (2), air fried potatoes, beans and tomatoes
D - spinach and ricotta (hexA) cannelloni with mozerella too (hexA) and garlic bread (hexB)

Probably sobs jelly after.

Weigh in this morning so 🤞🏻

JingleAndTonic · 31/08/2020 09:20

haha we've all been there @cherrybakewellll! Or certainly I have!!

I'm back on it today too, the plan is to be really good through all of September and DM has been briefed on this, we're both going to behave and poor DF will just have to go along with it if he wants fed Grin have just nipped downstairs to get a drink and see DM has put on a big pot of broth (or I guess it's scotch broth if you're not in Scotland?) and I can't wait to get right in about that!

L - the broth Grin and a few crackers (6 syns)

T - fajitas - fajita chicken with onion and peppers, WW wrap (HEB), cheese (HEA), FF yog, salsa (1/2 syn) and a few SW chips on the side - good news is I got custody of the air fryer in my split so can still have nice crispy chips lol

S - strawberries and some passion fruit

MummyInTheNecropolis · 31/08/2020 20:26

Went out for dinner today to make the most of the last night of the eat out to help out scheme. Went to ask Italian and had light butterfly prawns (2 syns) followed by pollo Milanese (9 syns). Was quite surprised that I could have such a nice, filling restaurant meal for only 11 syns!

MrsAvocet · 31/08/2020 21:36

B - tea with milk from HEA
L - chicken noodle soup (1) with wholemeal bread HEB
D - beef casserole and mashed potato with butter (2)
Snacks - apple and a bourbon biscuit (3.5)
Exercise- 40 mins walk.
Weigh day tomorrow.....don't think it will be good as last week was a bit of a disaster. I've got a meeting re the future of my job on Weds which is worrying and have been comfort eating. Why can't I lose my appetite when I'm stressed out?!

JingleAndTonic · 01/09/2020 08:27

@MummyInTheNecropolis that sounds so yummy, well done on staying within syns too!

@MrsAvocet I wish I lost my appetite with stress too, usually I turn to the chocolate.. Keeping all fingers crossed for your meeting tomorrow, really hope it goes ok for you!

L - leftover broth from yesterday with a cheese flatbread (HEA, HEB)

T - american cajun beef goulash (HEA) one of my favourite SW meals and is syn free!

S - apple and nectarine

B - hifi (hexb)
L - pasta salad, feta (hexA)
D - vegetable dhal, rice (1.5) and poppdums (3)

Also allowing 0.5 syns for jelly if I want it tonight.

I am doing a sober September so 🤞🏻 for some better results for me!

Hartleyhare1206 · 01/09/2020 11:52

Sorry I’ve been awol too.

Been to busy shovelling food in to my face that I haven’t had hands free to type what I’ve been eating.
Probably just as well!
Didn’t bother weighing myself on Sunday as I couldn’t face the result 😂😂😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Back on it today.

B - Greek yog and raspberries
L - Mexican chicken/onion/peppers/mushrooms and rice and two satsumas
D - flatbread (HEB) topped with humous (1 syns), red cabbage, red pepper, shredded chicken and pine nuts.

Not entirely sure what happened to my HEAs today? Think I’ve lost the SW plot!

2 weeks until I go on holiday. Need to wire my jaw shut between now and then to limit whatever damage I’ll do eating my way around the West Country!!

Bl0ndi3 · 01/09/2020 15:34

Sorry I too have been awol but I actually deleted the mumsnet app for a while because it's too easy to get lost in the conception and pregnancy threads for me and it just wasn't helping me recover after my miscarriage.

I have been doing well(ish) food wise had a couple of hiccups which mean I've only lost 1.5lbs in the last 2 weeks but I've been running and exercising and aiming to hit 10k steps everyday. I have measured and have lost some inches here and there which I'm happy with!

Yesterday:

B - salted caramel latte (a+1)
L - broccoli cheese and chive frittata (a) with potatoes and salad
D - spaghetti bolognese and side of veg

Didn't really snack and no hex b lol. I did sneak some oven chips off DS plate but they don't count 😜😜

Today :

B - salted caramel latte x2 (a+2) and a kvarg pot (0.5)
L - leftover spaghetti bolognese and side of veg
D - cauliflower and broccoli cheese frittata (a) with potatoes and salad

Hahaha just realise how very repetitive this sounds but I had a cottage cheese revelation recently with the frittata I made at the weekend as it was first time I've ever used cottage cheese ever and it totally elevated it so I'm making another tonight!!

I've started writing everything down in a planner I got from goalplanners because I forget what I've had so probably miscounting my syns.

It's my birthday on Sunday (big 30!!!) so I'll be off plan no doubt haha so I'm going to weigh in Saturday morning instead of Sunday.

JingleAndTonic · 02/09/2020 10:40

I had a couple of jam mallows yesterday so that's 6 syns needing added on to yesterday's eats! They are so fine

cherrybakewellll · 02/09/2020 13:31

Today is weirdly looking like no syns which probably means I'll want something sweet tonight.

B - weetabix (hexB)
L - jacket potato with beans, cheese (hexA) and salad
D - pasta with salad (hexA)

Bl0ndi3 · 02/09/2020 13:35

@JingleAndTonic no specific recipe I generally always wing it when i cook haha

I basically cooked the veg I wanted first - brocolli and cauliflower last night. Also cooked some pasta I used ditali as it's nice and small but I imagine any would work...

I mixed 6 large eggs with a tub of onion and chive cottage cheese from Aldi and one hexa of grated cheese. I add a little salt and some garlic.

Put the veg and pasta in a dish sprayed with fry light and then poured the mix over and then topped with another hex a of cheese. You could obviously use more cheese so it's 1 per portion.

I cooked it in oven for about 30-40 mins.

I've really enjoyed it had it again for lunch today and then preceded to eat all the junk food in the house haha oh well!

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/09/2020 16:25

JingleAndTonic · 03/09/2020 09:08

@Bl0ndi3 that sounds so good and nice and easy too! will have to give it a bash!

@Blondeshavemorefun it's nice that you can give each other some support when you both know how it feels, still sad though - I think pizza and gin were totally justified

I'm on a bit of a last-ditch attempt to not have a massive gain tomorrow even though really i know the damage is already done.. what with my weekend of wallowing in self pity over my breakup and last night I was drawn in by DM opening a sharebag of crisps and some dips Confused and was ravenous in the afternoon so had some cheese and crackers as well as my apple and pear - think I managed to contain it to the 15 syns yesterday though!

L - spicy tomato and red pepper soup and a few crackers (6 syns)

T - cauliflower and chickpea curry with rice and a garlic flatbread (HEB)

S - pear, nectarine, cheese (HEA)

might even force myself onto the exercise bike Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/09/2020 12:49

B overnight oats made with fat free yoghurt and raspberries

L 2 egg omelette with mushrooms, cucumber, red onion and tomato

D homemade roast tomato and red pepper soup with 2 brown sandwich thins.

Bluesheep8 · 03/09/2020 14:01

Eat similar to this every day and either stay the same or gain at least a pound. Also walk a minimum of 6k steps Confused.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/09/2020 14:34

@Bluesheep8 so disheartening when that happens
