@Blondeshavemorefun lunch sounds yum! i'm sure it wasn't too bad a day syns wise 😁

@MrsAvocet i agree with everyone else, life is for living as well it would be miserable if everyone else had a treat and we had a salad every time!!

@Hartleyhare1206 you need to bin that friend 😹😹

i wasn't as bad as i could've been last night, had a cheeseburger, two sausages in a roll, half a chicken and pepper kebab, too many crisps and my beers which are low cal

today could be different though as i'm doing some work in a village with just one tiny shop and not sure i'll have time to make and eat lunch in advance so...

L - possibly a pie out of that shop 🥴

T - lasagne and garlic bread

oops 😁

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/08/2020 12:51

B toast b ham egg cheese a beans

B - skinny latte (HEA) and banana
L - more left over pasta (why can’t I ever cook just the right amount?!) and satsumas
D - home made Cheese burger (HEA&B) with A mixture of SW chips and butternut squash “chips” And salad. Will chuck a garlic roasted flat mushroom in the burger too, “speed” things up a bit!
3 syns for ketchup and fake mayo
S - glass of wine (5syns) maybe a little choc bar (5 syns)

Stoichio · 01/08/2020 21:14

B (2.45 pm): courgette, onion, mushroom, red pepper, garlic stir fried in a little veg stock and soy sauce with flat leaf parsley followed by 40g porridge oats (HxB) with berries and 2tsp flaxseed (1.5 syns).

D (7.45 pm): lettuce, spring onion and tomato salad with John west salmon, lentil and couscous pouch (6.5 syns), roasted butternut squash (roasted in concentrated stock not oil) and soy sauce followed by sugar free jelly (1 syn), alpro cherry yogurt (1.5 syns), grapefruit and 3 squares dairy milk (4 syns)

HxA: 800 ml alpro unsweetened almond milk

Two large meals as I am also doing intermittent fasting (I find it easier!). Bit syn heavy due to pouch (need to go shopping/being lazy) but otherwise think it was ok.

troppibambini · 01/08/2020 21:45

Thank you for the kind words Smile
I'm back on track today, I did feel like a needed a bit of a detox so I'm staying as healthy as a can just for a few days my tummy actually feels a bit tender and I'm sure it's down to all the crap. I'm also doing 16:8.
L- soup
D- lenti Dahl with tikka roasted cauliflower

Shed loads of water and a few cups of tea/coffee.

Food shop comes in the morning and I'm planning lots of nice recipes for next week.

troppibambini · 01/08/2020 21:46

Hartley I can never cook the right amount of pasta either, my Italian mum despairs of meGrin

Hartleyhare1206 · 01/08/2020 21:53

@troppibambini 🤣🤣🤣
I never really see surplus pasta as a problem! More of a pleasure 😁

troppibambini · 01/08/2020 23:31

Hartley it's called second hand spaghetti in this house! It's my favourite I dry fry it (with a tiny bit of water) I much prefer it Grin

Hartleyhare1206 · 02/08/2020 08:36

@troppibambini - second hand spaghetti! Brilliant!

Weigh in today - lost 0.9lbs - so basically a pound really which I’m happy with as have had a couple of cake related treats this week, but have also eaten “well” and I feel like I’ve eaten really decent, satisfying and enjoyable food, not just for weight loss but for good nourishment If that makes sense? It’s the wrong time of the month so have a fair bit of water retention and I suspect my loss might have been a bit higher otherwise. I saw a colleague (and good friend - we are brutally outspoken with one another 🤣🤣🤣) yesterday for the first time in a fortnight and she approached me as I was sat behind my desk and as I stood up to greet her she just stopped and said “oh!”
I asked her what was up and she said “i looked at your face and it looks lovely and slim, I was about to comment you’d lost weight! But then you stood up and I saw your belly and thought oh dear!” 🤣🤣🤣
My tummy looks quite large...which it didn’t previously!
Think I just need to pee it all out! Classy I know!!! 🙄🤦‍♀️

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/08/2020 09:45

@Stoichio welcome. Sounds yummy

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/08/2020 21:40

@blondi all are welcome and congrats

troppibambini · 03/08/2020 09:45

Sorry welcome @Stoichio and @Bl0ndi3 Smile

Stoichio · 03/08/2020 11:37

Thank you @troppibambini and so sorry about your son's foot - I hope it heals quickly.

Thank you @JingleAndTonic!

I'm hoping reading through these food diaries will stop me going completely repetitive, it is great to see what other people are doing. I'm not a Vegan or Vegetarian but I do try to avoid animal products so that restricts things a bit, but also makes it easier.

One thing I do really notice this time round is how differently I am doing it - in fact I wasn't really doing SW when I thought I was before. I was cheating - often very low/no syns but loads of snacking on fruit/mullerlights (when loads were free) etc when not really hungry. I think I've got in touch more with what hunger actually is since I did this last time (years ago) and how to delay it...

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/08/2020 15:13

@JingleAndTonic sounds yummyTho. Bet you will lose

@troppibambini oh no at ds. Hope he is. Ok

OP posts:
MrsAvocet · 03/08/2020 16:28

Sorry to hear about your DS @troppibambini Hopefully he will heal quickly.
I am dreading weigh in tomorrow as we ate out again last night.Blush I will be happy if I've maintained.
We went sailing and as the weather was good stayed out way longer than planned. It would have been stupidly late if I had started cooking when we got home. I decided a pub meal (I had 5 bean chilli and rice) was less bad than a takeaway!
Anyway, back on the wagon today...
B - wholemeal toast(HeB)
L - pea soup (1.5) Sour cherry skyr (2) Banana
D - home made lentil curry (2, for the oil) and rice.
Snacks - orange, and a Solero (5) Well its sunny....
Just about to hop on my bike to assuage the guilt re the solero.

Bl0ndi3 · 03/08/2020 19:14

Thanks all :)

Today for me it's been:

B - salted caramel latte (1)
L - pizza pasta leftovers and salad
D - mayflower curry (4) with salt and pepper chips and broccoli

S - hippeas crisps x2 lol (9) and an apple

Should manage to stay under syns today for a change but we shall see. Still got my b left after I have dinner so I might have 2 skinny crunch with fat free natural yoghurt 🥰

Stoichio · 03/08/2020 21:26

B: veggie stir fry, 2 Kallo veggie rice cakes (4), tsp tahini (1.5), sugar free jelly (1), orange

D: Mixed salad, merchant gourmet Korean grains (4), pizzeria vegan house dressing (4), non dairy yogurt (1), flaxseeds (2), cacoa nibs (1.5)

800 ml almond milk (2 HxA)

No official HxB but grains have more than twice the fibre in than my usual porridge - so think I am covered. Odd day as I managed to do a 20.5 hr fast so only had a 3.5 hour eating window and son had taken over the kitchen cooking so went for quick stuff. Lots of syns but think I needed them today.

Stoichio · 03/08/2020 22:00

Just noticed that flaxseed counts as HxB too so didn’t need to syn that - still learning!
