Seeing what others eat really helps me plus gives us all ideas

I seem to stick to same thing

To us all losing weight

Finally back to my original weight after my horrific gain few weeks back

I'm treating myself today as I had a refresher driving lesson today after a very long time of not driving after a serious car crash. So I reckon I deserve a treat. Takeaway tonight and I am not even thinking about syns today.

@MrsAvocet your takeway sounds super deserved, can only imagine how nerve wracking today much have been - well done you!

B - Greek yog, banana and berries and a cuppa

L - left over pasta from last nights tea with cheese (HEA)

D - tortilla wrap pizza and SW chips

S - I’m a bit proud of myself here - took DD to the cake shop to buy cakes for her preschool teachers (they are unable to take her back till sept but we needed to pop in to return some books of theirs so took a treat for her lovely teachers) DD obvs wanted one too so convinced her to have a gingerbread man as I don’t like them and so wouldn’t pinch any! Also didn’t buy myself anything. Will probably have some fruit plus a bag of ringos (3 syns) and some choc (5 syns) and a squirt of fake mayo with my chips (1 syn)

Thanks for your kind words everyone. I'm pretty proud of myself and I enjoyed my fish and chips tonight.Grin I walked 2.5 miles today too though, which is the furthest I've managed since the accident so I am on a bit of a roll. The weight I have lost has really been a boost to my self confidence and helped my physical recovery too.
I'm glad I found this thread. Mumsnet isn't always a nice place but everyone here seems really lovely.

B- nothing (again...I know....Blush)
L - fish finger sandwich with bread from HexB - 2 Sour Cherry Skyr 2 Banana
D - homemade creamy lentil dahl - 3 rice and salad
Snacks - whatever fruit DH brings home in the shopping
Exercise- 30 mins on my bike on the indoor trainer and I will hopefully go for a walk later.

Ok, skip the "whatever fruit DH brings home". He brought Ferrero Rocher. Like fruit only different.
I've managed to only eat one so that's another 4 syns, but I am annoyed. Annoyed with him for buying them and annoyed with myself for giving in.Angry

D - steak, mushrooms, tomato, peashoot, salad jacket potato

S - erm....a cheese burger and a strawberry milkshake from maccies....ooops! So maybe count the bread and the cheese as my HEA & B and assume lean ground beef in the burger is free? And maybe the strawberry in the milkshake is speed? No? Oh...ok then 😳😳😳

Sounds like we have all gone a bit “off plan” this weekend 😂😂😂 thank god we are all in this together! X

S - kitkat chunky, banana bread with butter, two mini sausage rolls, two mini chicken kiev's, two mini scotch eggs, some fridge raiders and a rolo cupcake, all washed down with at least 8beers and 3 aperol spritz 🥴

OMG I am so excited. Huge NSW for me this morning, hope its ok to share. At tge beginning of the year I was wearing mainly 14s, but I was squeezed into my clothes and was really a 16. Now all my size 14 trousers are too loose so this morning I was digging through my old clothes trying to find something that fits. I found a pair of old trousers that I thought were 12s and they were just right. Then I noticed they were 10s Grin Generous 10s its true, but 10s all the same. Its over 15 years since I was that size! I am wearing a 10-12 t shirt that I found too, though my top hasn't slimmed down as much as my bottom half yet. Super pleased though.

2.2lbs off at this mornings weigh in. Which means my first stone is now lost (1stone 1lb in total)

Celebrating with a roast that includes Yorkshire puds, and chocolate cheesecake for pud....

Really haven’t got the hang of avoiding emotional eating have i?!
