Seeing what others eat really helps me plus gives us all ideas

I seem to stick to same thing

the scales are very annoying! hopefully i will have brought them down a wee bit by tomorrow, although yesterday a couple of additional snacks were included Blush in the form of two sausage rolls and two mini scotch eggs

L - butternut squash and a ham and cheese pitta (HEB, HEA + 1.5 syns)

T - BBQ: mozzarella stuffed burger (HEA and 4 syns), chicken and chorizo kebab (2 syns), half a spicy sausage (2.5 syns) and some SW chips

S - fruit

not my finest as far as syns go before a weigh day but it's better than being over and from tomorrow will be drawing the line under the birthday week! Cake

Hey everyone

B - the worlds biggest skinny latte (HEA) from Nero on the way in to a meeting at work. First “proper” coffee since lockdown. It sent me loopy 🤪

L - beans on toast (HEB) greek yog mixed with sweetener, raspberries and strawberries and FROZEN. Like Icecream!!! Actual legal icecream!!! It was a delicious revelation!

D - tomato bacon and mushroom pasta with cheese (HEA)

S - satsumas and some choc (6 syns)

I’m so bloody hot 🤯🤯 and for some reason I feel really bloated?!! Can I blame the heat for that rather than me being a hot, greedy bitch?!

@Hartleyhare1206 yes you can definitely blame the heat, i feel the same and will also blame the heat rather than my overeating for the last week 😁

i've gained 3lbs, really not mad about it, better than the 7 i thought it could be!!

L - egg mayo roll and some crisps (HEB and 5 syns)

T - honey chilli chicken (think 5 syns, it's not me making it) and egg fried rice

S - apple and cheese (HEA), strawberries and there are still a couple of birthday treats lurking which i may have as a weigh day treat/to get rid of them 😂

Period started today. Which explains the bloating. Might just not bother weighing in on Sunday based on that as I’m always full of extra water for days 😄😄

Morning all,

I'm in.

Just weighed myself. I'm 9.12. Normally around 8.12 and has been as light as 8.7 last summer. I'm aiming to get to 8.12.

Weigh gain has been a mix of gym closing, I was a keen spinner. Lockdown = more alcohol and more food. I'm not going to get down about it. I'm just going to get on it.

Weigh in days for me will be Wed as Wednesday was when I started getting back in the swing. Halloumi burger for dinner last night with a large glass of wine. This was planned in.

Today.
I've poured 300ml of skimmed milk for tea and coffee throughout the day.

2 coffees so far half a teaspoon of sugar in each - 1 syn.

B - 2 x scrambled eggs on 1 x 400g of wholemeal bread. 2 x nectarine for speed. 1.5 syns for lurpack light. 1 syn for a teaspoon of tomato sauce.

3.5 syns so far.

Lost a pound this week chip chip chipping away.

B basically all the fruit that needed using up before the food shop got delivered and some Greek yogurt

D-chubby cubs zingy chicken with rice and green beans
Heb two bars
Hea skimmed milk

I've got lots of new things to try on my meal plan this week so hope no one minds a few food photos I don't know why but posting pics helps and also makes me eat normal size portions 🤣

B - latte (HEA) banana - needed something quick as needed to get up and out to do the food shopping. Didn’t want to get swayed by DD/DH having their bacon sarnies and get tempted to have one!

L - tortilla pizza (HEB) with cheese (HEA) cherry tomato, spring onion and peppers + 2 x satsumas

D - salmon kedgeree....haven’t made it for years but really fancied salmon but also fancied a curry. This combines both and is healthier than having a takeway! Planning to load it with onion, spring onion, peppers and chunks of butternut squash. Suspect by the time I’ve finished it’ll end up being more like a salmon byriani than kedgeree but as long as it’s yummy and fills me up then who cares.

S - pack of Sweet chilli ringo crisps (3 syns) Cadbury’s little bar (5 syns) fruit.

Would usually have a G&T or glass of wine but still feeling really bloated so going to swerve that tonight I think as that really won’t help.

Dinner : Baked beans on 400g wholemeal. 0.5 syns for Nando's sauce. Will have an apple for speed later on.

Desperately trying to resist the bottle of cold white wine in the fridge. 🙈.

DH went to get petrol. Came back with a white choc magnum...I can resist most things but this isn’t one of them....

morning! i had a surprisingly on plan day yesterday although not very good with speed. got a bit of a surprise when i realised i've been moved down from 20 syns a day to 15 which was very rude of SW but obviously means i'm going in the right direction!

yesterday:

L - chorizo, cheese and nduja sausage toastie (HEA, HEB and 5 syns)

T - 2x chicken burgers and some sweet potato chips (11 syns) so was one syn over for the day, not bad considering my usual saturday is approx 60 syns lol

today:

L - bacon sandwich (HEB, half syn for ketchup)

T - roast chicken and all the extras, (2 syns for gravy, 2x HEA for some cauli cheese sauce, 4 syns for some yorkers)

might have some crisps as have some syns left! i'm also going to try and make a batch of pasta salad for lunches through the week because i need a speedy alternative to soup - it's too hot for soup Grin

I can't help in the cheese I'm afraid I must be the only Italian in the world that doesn't eat cheese!

Autumn Mexican chicken sounds yum

I made Piri piri chicken, sweet potato fries, roast cauliflower and salad for dinner it was delicious and went down well with everyone, they had flat breads but I didn't the ones in the picture are 5.5 syns. If I was making it for just dh and me I would put loads of chilli in but I made it milder as one dc doesn't like spicy food.
