Haven’t had dinner yet. I’m supposed to be getting changed into activewear to do 30 day shred. Am instead lying on my bed in my pants reading Mumsnet!!

B: Sharon fruit, donut peach and 2x cups of tea HEXA
L: frittata with new potatoes, onion, ham and feta HEXA, side salad
Muller light with strawberries
D: random pie with lean mince, tomatoes, carrots, baked beans, onions, stock with thinly sliced potatoes on top. Kind of shepherds pie meets Lancashire hotpot. Serving with broccoli and roasted carrots and butternut squash.
I an NOT having a hifi, bar, snack afterwards as perhaps this is my downfall.
Right, I’m off to do day 6 of the 30 day shred. Have a good evening everyone.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/06/2020 22:14

@beadyboo that sounds like a yummy pie

Morning all

@beadyboo - shredding sounds painful!

B - toast (HEB) with scrambled eggs

L - jacket potato with beans and salad
Strawberries and Greek yog for pud

D - pasta with tomato, onion, mushroom and bacon sauce with cheese (HEA)

S - fruit; options hot choc (2) freddo (5)

JingleAndTonic · 18/06/2020 10:23

Morning everyone!

@Blondeshavemorefun when I got new scales I took whatever number they gave as my new starting weight and then the following week took what they said as a loss since all scales read different, I wouldn't be too disheartened by them all saying you've gained on the first weigh with them!

@beadyboo 30 day shred does sound painful! I'm on week 5 of couch to 5k which is only 3 exercises a week and that is more than enough
🤣

L - the last of the chicken and veg soup and a roll with banana and choc shot in (HEB and 1/2 syn)

T - not sure!! have been inspired by all the ham egg and chips so might have that possibly with some carrot chips too - but I may be back later on to say I'm having something different lol

S - going to get plenty fruit in before weighing tomorrow!

troppibambini · 18/06/2020 12:54

Helloooo!!
I've been a bit awol as I've been having a stern chat with myself!! I decided that I need to completely cut sugar out of my diet for a bit as it what trips me up everytime. I'm on day 5 and feeling a lot better... the first few days I was eating loads of nuts and avocados and also using oil on my salads so I didn't think posting my menus would be helpful when I was eating like a starved squirrel Grin
But now I'm scaling down all that and I'm back on sw although now sugar free (for now at least)

B- coffee
L-ham and tomato omelette with salad (1)
Greek yogurt with mango
D- chicken and spinach madras with rice and tikka cauliflower
Water melon
Heb pistachios
Hea skimmed milk

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/06/2020 13:34

Hi @troppibambini. Welcome back

@Hartleyhare1206 I think that’s what I will do tomorrow

But all scales don’t like my old weighing point. Was on carpet but never been a problem

Wondering if have a winky floorboard now hmmmmmmm

B toast b beans egg ham

L yesterday’s rice and salmon and veg

T meatballs 1/2s in time and veg sauce pasta cheese a

morning all and happy friday 🥳

lost 1lb this week which i'm surprised at after a good loss last week, was expecting a maintain! however it is my birthday on monday with celebrations starting tomorrow so the best i can hope for next week is a maintain if not a gain. going to try and make the right choices where i can but you only have one birthday a year so i'll be having cake 😁

L - egg mayo roll (HEB, 1/2 syn) and some french fry crisps (4 syns)

T - proper macaroni cheese not a slimming world version (using both HEA for milk/cheese and counting another 6 syns because it has to be cheesy plus 1 syn for cornflour)

S - apple, pear, strawberries

Hartleyhare1206 · 19/06/2020 08:58

Well done on losing @JingleAndTonic that’s fab! And many happy returns for Monday. Totally agree you need to relax things this week and enjoy your birthday properly. Cake sounds like a great idea 😋

B - Parma ham and egg muffin (1/2 syn) banana and coffee

L - left over pasta from last nights dinner with cheese (HEA)

D - tortilla wrap veggie pizza (HEA&B) with SW chips

S - not sure yet....seeing SIL for socially distanced catch up in the garden. Bound to involve food in some way, shape or form. Knowing her; of the pudding variety. She is 13 years younger than me and all skinny and gorgeous despite eating as much crap as she likes 🙄🤬🙄🤬🙄🤬🙄🤬

beadyboo · 19/06/2020 09:11

Happy Birthday weekend Jingle Flowers

I am seeing my parents on Saturday for the first time since February. Will be very hard not to hug them, but I’m so excited. We are going to BBQ some food as everyone is staying in the garden, so plenty of grilled meat and salad for me.

Yesterday
B: overnight oats with raspberries and cherries HEXB
L: roast chicken thighs (no skin), 1/2 pouch microwave rice (1 syn) and half a plate of salad.
D: chicken and veg curry with turmeric rice and salad.
On reflection lunch and dinner weren’t very different in terms of ingredients but I had a migraine and just needed to chuck food in a pan and leave it. I had no mango chutney or naan bread Halo

Milk in tea for HEXA
Excitingly scales have dropped this morning but I’m trying not to get too excited as I’m very up and down.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/06/2020 11:28

Another good day of food choices for me today. Took kids and dog for a long walk. We got drenched in a torrential downpour, but the local ice cream farm was open and totally deserted. Kids had ice creams and I refrained. Takeaway chicken kebabs and pizza for everyone else this evening and I had a SW ready meal. Still felt like a treat as I didn’t have to cook and we all still ate together.
B: overnight oats HEXB with raspberries and cherries
L: jacket potato with beans, 40g light cheddar HEXA and salad
D: Moroccan meatballs ready meal with half a ton of salad. Muller light with raspberries.
Milk in tea for other HEXA
Halo

L - two large sausage rolls with tomato sauce Blush don't want to know the syns lol

S - will try and force some fruit on my hungover self!

Hartleyhare1206 · 21/06/2020 14:59

@jingleandtonic sounds like you had a good day.

I refuse to write down what I’ve eaten!

Was up in the night on Friday night/Saturday morning with a stomach bug. One way to shed the pounds I guess. By Saturday lunchtime was starving though and I just wanted white stodgy bread and salty crisps. Oh and kinder buenos 😳 so that’s what I had 🤦‍♀️ Today includes Father’s Day breakfast with hubby and takeaway dinner with my dad....I’m screwed!
On the plus side when I weighed myself on Friday (prior to the bug I hasten to add!!!) I’d lost 2.2lbs which I’m thrilled with!! Fully expecting that I won’t be repeating that success, and will probably gain at next weigh in after a weekend of shit food consumption!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/06/2020 15:23

Will be a gain for me as well next week

B toast b egg bacon

Lunch and tea. Write off as Father’s Day. Cream tea. Scones jam cream. Cakes Sarnie crisps

And booze

Hartleyhare1206 · 21/06/2020 15:49

Ooh cream tea 😋😋😋🤤🤤🤤

JingleAndTonic · 21/06/2020 19:54

@Hartleyhare1206 hope you're feeling better now, got to eat whatever you can to feel better when you don't feel right!

@Blondeshavemorefun that sounds lovely Wine

I've now had a hair of the dog (or 3) and have had a couple of wee cakes too. Having a takeaway tomorrow for my birthday and will have a few other treats too and then draw the line, ready to starve on Tuesday. Can't wait to see what weigh-in will bring on Friday..

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/06/2020 21:18

Was lovely. And my dad over (widowed) so joined our bubble and came in our house 🙀🙀😂😂

JingleAndTonic · 23/06/2020 09:14

morning everyone! back to it today for me!

L - tomato soup

T - chilli with SW chips, carrot chips and cheese (HEA)

S - as much fruit as I can manage and maybe a sliver of birthday cake because it would be rude to waste it, plus it has strawberries in so will count as speed Wink

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/06/2020 19:44

Been a tad bad and awol. Def will be a gain fri

Need to kick myself into again. Ever since the scales going wrong I’ve lost my mojo

OP posts:
Hartleyhare1206 · 24/06/2020 08:42

@JingleAndTonic your idea of speed food is the same as mine!

@Blondeshavemorefun it’s ok, it’s just an off week. Play the long game and just write it off as a bad one and start again from today xxx

Had a disastrous weekend after my post vom carb and kinder bueno fest on Saturday, KFC for Father’s Day on Sunday and a play date with my friend and her two that resulted in us hoovering up the kids left over fries and garlic bread 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
Yesterday was good though and today looks something like this:

B - Greek yog with banana and strawberries
L- BLT (HEB) and cream cheese triangles (HEA) satsuma and Apple (Meeting friends for a picnic so just prepped this ready. Just need to avoid my good friend Mr Whippy whilst out now!)
D - ham egg and SW chips
S - more fruit, pepper and cucumber strips dipped in the remaining cheese triangle from my HEA allowance and a little bar (5syns)

Have a good day everyone enjoy the sunshine ☀️☀️☀️

JingleAndTonic · 24/06/2020 09:33

@Blondeshavemorefun I'm sure it won't be too bad, a few days off won't ruin all the hard work you've put in so far!

@Hartleyhare1206 it's bulletproof logic, carrot cake is of course the ultimate speed food!!

Yesterday turned into a bit of a fail with eating plenty crisps Blush, weighed myself last night and was only up 1lb from Friday's WI which I was delighted with but this morning have weighed again and it was 3lbs up, weighed again 5 mins later and I was 7lbs up!! Confused Serves me right for stepping on before I should, so today and tomorrow are going to be perfectly on plan in the hope I can drag the scales back down!

L - butternut squash soup (1 syn cocnnut milk) with a ham pitta (HEB & 1/2 syn mayo)

T - cajun beef goulash (2x HEA) with some carrot chips

S - apple, pear and strawbs - without the cake today

Blondeshavemorefun · 24/06/2020 14:51

Sounds like my scales @JingleAndTonic
