Have also done old Jillian Michaels dvd and walked 17k steps. Desperate for a loss. I feel like I’m trying so hard but I suppose I’m not gaining. All my recently acquired bad habits were putting weight on and now I’m staying the same. Weight definitely feels harder to lose the older I get.

Can I join in please?!
(Re) started SW for the eleventy billionth time on 10th May with the aim of losing 3.5 stone. Currently lost 7.5 lbs but feeling a bit pissed off with how slowly it’s coming off, and how far I have to go....and we all know feeling pissed off just makes you think “sod it, may as well eat chocolate!” Really need some accountability and hoping this might help keep me on the straight and narrow! Also, all your yummy meal suggestions have been pretty inspirational too, so thanks! X

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/06/2020 14:58

Hi @hartley. Anyone welcome so welcome

I seem to stick to same meals but know I will lose tho slowly

I’m a lb a girl week usually But I do also like a weekend. Takeaway. That’s my treat

Hartleyhare1206 · 13/06/2020 18:32

@Blondeshavemorefun thank you!
WI on Sundays...stops me going mental over the weekend and eating everything in site. In theory anyway.

B - latte (HEA) and banana (in a hurry to queue for 8 hours outside aldi to do my foodshop 🙄🙄)
A cheeky freddo (5syns) 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

L- 2 x poached eggs on 2 x toast (HEB)
Satsuma, strawberries in 0% Greek yog

D - hunters chicken (HEA) hassleback potato and broccoli, carrots and mange tout

Weak G&T (3 syns) Cadbury’s little bar (5syns)

I just want to order a massive pizza and bury my face in its cheesy goodness. I’m starving, knackered and had a manic day so haven’t prepped tea at all which means starting from scratch when DD (3) goes to bed at 7pm, won’t eat till at least 8....I’m destined to fail...keep me strong oh wonderful people of Mumsnet!!!😭😭😭

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/06/2020 19:30

Hey all!
Wi tomorrow morning and what do I do? After a day at work of being good I came home and had wine with DP not so bad but I had a couple last night too

L Chinese chow mien noodle pot 1.5 syns I think and watermelon

T chicken, peas carrots and broccoli

Will update with weigh in tomorrow.
I start work at 6.30 am so will be weighing early

Hartleyhare1206 · 14/06/2020 08:19

Urgh. WI and only lost 0.8lbs. I know a loss is a loss and all that, but honestly, I’ve been saintly this weeks stuck to plan, averaged about ten syns per day and walked LOADS. Was hoping for a good shift of a couple of lbs this week so feeling pretty flat.

Roast with my dad (he lives alone and now we can see him properly thanks to the relaxation of rules this week - yay!!!) I think it’s going to be a bit celebratory...and he makes an amazing Yorkshire pud! I know there is pudding with custard. And chocolates. Suspect there is no point me sharing my meals for today based on all of that. And of course because I’m feeling a bit flat I now need to resist the urge to say “fuck it” and stuff my face like mad. Shall do my best to be sensible!

Hope you did better than me @mummyof4kids 😳😳

mummyof4kids · 14/06/2020 08:46

@Hartleyhare1206 2lb off for me, I was hoping for more as I've been good all week apart from the wine.
Having a bit of a cheat day today so no point me posting meals either.
Have a good day everyone

Well done on losses. Hartley I know how you feel. I have weighed every day for 3 weeks and seem to be staying fairly static.
When I last did SW to lose rather than maintain weight came off slowly, but it did actually come off. This time around I feel like I’m denying myself so much and it’s not doing any good. I’m giving myself til July and then I may have to find a different approach.
Yesterday was gorgeous here weather wise.
B: banana

L: pasta with homemade tomato sauce. Cheese (HEXA)

S: Apple

D: barbecue. Had 2 chicken thighs (no skin on) 1 Aldi 5% fat meatball (made into a kebab with peppers and onions, salad, potato wedges, 2 onion rings (2syns), 1 small slice chorizo (1 syn ?)
Followed by 1 meringue nest (2.5 syns) fat free Greek yogurt and berries.
No Bread or alcoholic drinks passed my lips, I had tonic water with loads of ice and berries.

Got weighed this morning 1 lb on Angry
