Please can I join in?
I have been at target for 7 years. I only weigh in every 6 weeks or so to keep my membership and keep an eye on my weight.
Little bad habits have sneaked in here and there over the last year or so and since lockdown our baking and bread consumption has gone through the roof.
I’m consequently over target and a bit down about it.
I’ve lost my inspiration and feel like I cook the same half a dozen things over and over again.

JingleAndTonic · 03/06/2020 16:53

@beadyboo wow 7 years at target is such an accomplishment! I can't even imagine getting to target never mind maintaining it, am about halfway there. I've found this thread a big help for meal inspo and also being answerable to something that's not just the app when I see I'm on 50 syns on a Saturday Blush keeps me on track!

supersalmon1 · 03/06/2020 17:45

That is amazing - 7 years is such an achievement.

My 4 year old DS is back at school now so I've got a bit more time to think about meals now.

Breakfast yesterday was - beans on toast (HEB)

Lunch - roasted vegetable salad with feta

Dinner - Indian spiced tray bake with spinach. Syns for some yoghurt in that and a gin and tonic.

maisiemoolou · 03/06/2020 18:10

Following Smile

beadyboo · 03/06/2020 18:10

Thank you. I’ve just got into some bad habits that I’d previously kicked.... Garlic bread Alongside pasta dishes, sandwiches for lunch, desserts
Anyway I’m back on it now.
In the spirit of the thread

B: plum

L: pasta with tomato sauce and salad leaves

D: aubergine parmigiana with potato wedges and salad (HEXA), muller light.

Hi, mind if I join you? I've piled the weight back on after losing 2 stone 18 months ago, am furious with myself. But I did it once, I can do it again. Am starting properly tomorrow after doing my weekly shop. Finding it hard at the moment as food seems to be the only enjoyable thing to do right now, so I need a good kick up the backside.

Blondeshavemorefun · 04/06/2020 23:48

Welcome @NellyTimes

You ok know you did it once

Same as me I lost 4 stone maybe 14 yrs ago on ww

Put it back and some over the years. 5 lots of ivf didn’t help with drugs etc but no real excuse

I started this originally as wanted to lose weight for my wedding

Which was meant to be last week :(

Since being cancelled I seem to lose and gain the same 4/5 lbs

But Hoping for a loss tomorow

I wi Fri as if have takeaway /treat then happy to be good the other 6 days and gives me time to get the badness off 😂

OP posts:
JingleAndTonic · 05/06/2020 05:25

Hi all, yesterday was not particularly inspiring during the day but DP made the most amazing Indonesian chicken/rice dish last night - almost SW friendly, just needed to syn the small amount of peanut butter and chipotle paste.
Breakfast was boiled eggs and lunch was a chicken salad pita.

I'm nearly at target now so need some ideas of how to maintain! There doesn't seem to be much information out there once you get to your goal weight.

JingleAndTonic · 05/06/2020 10:01

we can do it @Blondeshavemorefun! at least we know why it happened and it was worth it at the time Grin

@supersalmon1 sounds yum! I could be wrong but I think once you get to target you get a second healthy extra B allowance as well as more syns allocated, I've also seen something about extra weekly syns to use similar to the WW diet but I'm not 100% sure, you can let us know when you get there Grin

JingleAndTonic · 05/06/2020 10:04

should also add I've had some peanut butter on toast as a weigh day treat taking me to 19.5 syns for the day as I had to syn the bread, but that's still ok as I get 20 syns a day for being such a chunk Grin I try not to go above 15 usually but at weekends I feel like it's justified!

beadyboo · 05/06/2020 10:30

Yesterday was
L: jacket potato, beans, cheese (HEXA), salad

D: Diet Coke chicken, rice, salad

S: muller light with blueberries (1/2 syn)
Trifle thingy made out of WW cake bar, quark mixed with options sachet and raspberries. Just less than 3 syns

Loads of coffee (black) and tea (milk is other HEXA)

First time of trying Diet Coke chicken. Was pleasantly surprised.

Got weighed this morning and have gained 1/2. How is this possible?!?

Am now sulking!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 05/06/2020 13:29

oh @beadyboo ia today your wi day or you just weighed iyswim

OP posts:
beadyboo · 05/06/2020 23:21

No, just weighed, but I felt like I’d been so saintly I was hoping for a decent loss. Certainly not a gain!
Trying to keep positive and not reach for the treats.
Today

L: mackerel fillets in thai green curry sauce with couscous and salad.
D: mushy pea curry with SW chips and salad (classy!!!)
S: banana, plum, muller light with berries (1/2 syn)

I know I shouldn’t, but have weighed every day for a week. First thing in the morning. I have gained almost 2 lb in a week. I have stuck to plan rigidly, barely had any syns and walked a minimum of 12k steps a day. To say I’m a bit miffed is an understatement!! I’m only 5 foot so every lb shows.
Yesterday

B: overnight oats with frozen Raspberries and fat free Greek yogurt. (HEXB)

L: chicken salad. No dressing but couple of syns for anchovies and the 3 croutons I treated myself to. (HEXA Parmesan)(2 syns)
10 cal jelly (1/2 syn)

D: chilli, rice, wedges, salad. (2 syns for chorizo in chilli, 1 for micro rice plus a conservative 3 for olive oil on wedges made by DH, 6 in total)

Total syns 8 1/2
It’s not official WI until Tuesday for Wednesday group, so will see what happens.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/06/2020 12:33

@beadyboo weight does go up and down so don’t worry too much

Maybe not eating eating syns ?

I’ve just made a huge sw quiche so will have they for lunch mon wed fri and salad

Ooh Dairy Milk - chocolate is my downfall; I can't even have a little bit (the whole bar suddenly disappears), so I have to go cold turkey on it.

Yesterday was'

Breakfast - 2 boiled eggs and some bacon medallions

Lunch - tuna salad pitta and a pear

Dinner was a very delicious seafood linguine and a very large glass of white wine.
