Seeing what others eat really helps me plus gives us all ideas

I seem to stick to same thing

To us all losing weight

Hi, I'm new to SW but so pleased with it so far. I'm not sure if you are meant to weigh in every day or not but I have to to keep motivating myself and I have lost a bit in one day!

yesterday:
B: 1 x toast & 2 eggs & honey.
S: Glenisk fat free yog
L: Indian potato/veg bite things baked in oven with fat free raita
S: Glenisk fat free yog
D: pasta & spicy tomato sauce & one slice toast honey.

and lost 0.6 of a kg! So weird, I felt like i was eating all day!

Today will be:

B: glenisk fat free yog & spoonful of granola, one slice toast & honey.
L: couscous & chopped salad & possibly some feta if I have any in the fridge.
D: sweet & sour vegetables & rice.

I basically eat huge amounts of fruit and veg with each meal and for snacks.

Yesterday

B pear, banana, fat free plain Greek yogurt

L diced tomatoes and garlic on wholemeal toast, peach, slice of melon, strawberries and grapes

D barbecue so had chicken skewer, lamb skewer, new potatoes, huge salad of lettuce, cucumber, celery, radishes, tomatoes, peppers, fresh chilli, herbs

S banana, grapes

Today

B pear, plum, zero fat Greek yogurt

L leftover chicken skewer, potatoes, salad, strawberries

D poached eggs with asparagus, wholemeal toast

I feel like I eat a lot but have lost nearly 3 stone and haven't gained at all during lockdown. I have been exercising as well, an hour + walk every day and half an hour yoga.

Thanks ladies. Was a bit meh Friday and ate and drank , same with yesterday

No new date for wedding as venue is shut and all on furlough so they can’t even email or call

So till they open it’s never never :( and then will be a case of squeezing us in prob on week day as all weekends booked up for 18/20mths - as they were for us when we booked

I shall start afresh tomorow and obv have a huge gain when I wi on Friday

I have been absolutely terrible this weekend, yesterday went something like..

L - bacon and cheese in a ww wrap (hea and b)

T - mozzarella stuffed burger (hea) with frozen chips (2 syns)

S - where it all went wrong, packet of golden wonder, most of a packet of kettle chips, fudge bar, about 5 biscuits, a brownie from a local baker and a slice of toast with peanut butter and honey and about 2 pints worth of cider - don't even want to think about the syns involved

and today has been:

L - bbq cajun chicken grill (1 syn) in a ww wrap with cheese (heb and hea), tattie salad (1 syn for mayo), a few onion rings, syns unknown, and crisps, again syns unknown Blush probably around the 15 syns mark for them!

S - strawberries with some ff yog

won't need tea after such a mammoth lunch! back to it tomorrow and hopefully it won't be too bad on weigh day!

Morning everyone. We ventured to the beach yesterday for 8am but by 10ish it was getting so busy...so we left!

So, yesterday was - breakfast - overnight oats on the beach

Lunch - BBQ mackerel and tomato salad

Dinner - pasta salad with feta/peppers/tomato

Syns on prosecco

Oh, and it's weigh day today. 1.5lb lost which takes me to 9.5lb in 4 weeks. Very pleased as I was dreading my summer clothes not fitting.

well done @supersalmon1! it's back to behaving for me today, I have 2.5lbs to go until I've lost 2.5 stone so would like to have managed to at least maintain by Friday, if I can get it shifted by 3 weeks for my birthday I'll be thrilled Grin

L - sweet potato and leek soup with a ham roll (heb and 1/2 syn for light mayo)

T - butternut squash macaroni (2xHEA) and some broccoli (1/2 syn for broon sas)

S - apple, pear and some strawberries

Well done @supersalmon1. We also did beach tho pebbles and deserted so stayed 1130-4. Was lovely

Kicked my butt back to it. Did a sneaky wi and gained 4lbs since fri. Wtf

i'm sure most if not all of that will be gone by friday! the scales can show different on different days depending!

tea plans have changed for me since this is due to be the last of the good weather for us for a few days so now it'll be a mozzarella stuffed burger (4 syns and HEA) with sw chips, carrot chips, broccoli and some garlic mayo (1/2 syn)

may also have had two biscuits Blush need to get a grip of myself!!

I have had a good day (I think?) but when I add up the calories it is more than I would have had before SW so I really hope it works..! Do you all keep a track of calories as well or not so much?

B: Fat free vanilla yog & blueberries
S: Green apple
L: Leek & potato soup, and 2 mini wholemeal pittas with low fat crm cheese (can't get 0 fat here) lettuce and tomato.
S: Alpen light bar
D: tried to make an aubergine/red pepper dip with 0% fat natural yoghurt but put too much yoghurt in and it was like a smoothie (blurgh) so turned it in to a pasta sauce instead and had for dinner. Was quite nice. Had two bowls. Blush

I feel quite bloated today and like my thighs are enormous.

@triedtothinkofanewname that sounds like a good menu to me! sometimes i track my cals but don't rely on it too much unless they're very high! usually i come out between 1000 and 1300 calories a week because i keep my syns low to repent for weekends Blush i don't feel like i'm ever hungry on that amount as i try to eat plenty fruit and veg which are v low cal!

I think it's because I have literally zero movement all day - not joking when I say I only move from my chair to get to the fridge! So I think there have been one too many bowls of pasta Confused

B: 2 slices toast & honey
S: Alpen light bar
L: roast potatoes, mushrooms, beans and fried eggs.
S: homous & carrots & a fat free raspberry yog.

Think I've reached all my limits today and I'm quite full so going to fast til tmro now.

I usually weigh twice a week - I tend to get obsessed if I do it anymore than that.

Yesterday was -

Breakfast - turkey bacon and scrambled egg

Lunch - roasted sweet potato and red pepper salad with parsley and balasmic vinegar

Dinner - Teriyaki chicken with rice and sugar snap peas. Syns for the honey in the sauce...and syns on wine. Obviously.

I also obsess over weighing if I give myself the chance and if the scales haven't moved overnight I would tend to think none of it is worth it and go on a binge! It's something I've been working on changing this year, if I get a maintain one week I try not to then go off the rails and give up entirely.

L - lentil soup and a ham and cheese sandwich (1/2 syn for mayo, HEA and HEB)

T - bolognese pasta bake, basically spag bol with penne instead of spaghetti (HEA for parmesan) Grin

S - some fruit

I've been eating all morning and it's only lunch time here.

I made dosas which I have googled to see if they are syn free but not too sure. I think they may not be syn free. They are made by soaking lentils and rice overnight and then you blend the fermented mix in the morning and make very thin pancakes out of them.

I had:

B: oatmeal & oatmilk
S: one dosa with potatoes
L: 2 x M&S chickpea & sweetcorn patties with a salad.

it's only 12pm. I think I'll have one fat free yog later and then try and fast again until tomorrow as I am totally stuffed.
