Re re re re started a week ago, first wi lost 8lbs and got my half stone award :)

Looking for some ideas for lovely meals :)

Lightheart86 · 27/08/2018 19:10

Wow foofFighter that was such a super re start!! Well done, what tips do you have?? I had a fab omelette for lunch today with lettuce and hummus on the side, 2.5 for hummus but think all rest free

FoofFighter · 27/08/2018 20:23

No tips really, just stick to plan and didn't use my syns on treats for the sake of it, I use a few each day on things like oil or an extra piece of cheese etc rather than crisps and choc.
I didn't have any pasta that week unusually or bread so was probably that ( not intentionally my menu plan just worked out like that as was using up stuff)

I am starting on Wed evening. First time with slimming world. I am 12st 2lbs or 170lbs. I am planning/hoping to keep going till Xmas but I will try & stick with it for 2 months to start then if I start seeing good results continue on till Xmas. I get very disheartened when I don't see changes quickly which I know in my head is silly. So lets see on Wednesday evening. X

Groovee · 28/08/2018 05:29

Welcome back @FoofFighter. Well done on that fab loss.

Hi all,

I started yesterday but have done SW before. I lost a stone and a half before the summer but have put a stone of it back on over the last two months which I am finding really upsetting. Can I join the thread? Starting to think I'll never lose this weight- I currently weigh 12 stone 7 but need to be at the most 10 stone as am only 5'3". Is it possible to get all the way there?!

Groovee · 28/08/2018 15:28

Welcome @Peachypips

I think it can be done. It took me 10 weeks to lose my last 8lb but I got there.

Hi, can I join?

I have about 6 stone to lose in total. Need to lose about 3 of that before starting fertility treatment just over a year from now.

Started last week and lost 7lbs this week! So far so good!

Cherrypi · 28/08/2018 19:21

Thrilled only gained 1/2 pound after eating rubbish on holiday and weigh in swapping from morning to evening. 4lb till my next certificate. Hope to do that in two weeks.

Groovee · 28/08/2018 19:28

Welcome @QuaffleyGood

Well done @Cherrypi

Lost half a pound this week.

What’s says you all weighing in?? Is it better to weigh in in morning or evening ??
Ate out today... don’t have as much self control out than I do in the house 🙁🙁

Cherrypi · 29/08/2018 07:36

It doesn’t matter really as long as your consistent. Lots of people starve themselves on weigh day which I think is counterproductive.

FoofFighter · 29/08/2018 07:48

I agree @Cherrypi

As long as you always weigh at roughly same time for consistency all this not eating all day is daft as after wi you'll go to nearest chippy!!

MyGuideJools · 29/08/2018 08:03

Welcome Quaffley you can do this! I lost 5 stone between Oct '16 and July '17 Once I got my head around it I found it quite easy and enjoy the plan.
As stated in previous posts I've put loads back on but I'm now back in the zone!😀

Happy to report 2lb loss in my 1st week back. I've got 2 events this week so won't be so easy.
Groovee you look amazing!!

Binfield135 · 29/08/2018 15:39

First weigh in 12st 3lbs. Hopefully the start of a lighter me!

Groovee · 29/08/2018 15:46

I used to prefer a morning weigh in but as I work I need to go to the night session.

Hi, can I join you?
I went to my first SW group last night , had my first weigh in - I was terrified of this!- and now I’m seriously on the wagon!

I’m aiming for 1.5 stone by Christmas, is this feasible do you reckon? My overall goal is aboit 3.5 stone, which sounds a lot Shock

Just cooking diet cola chicken for tea!

Binfield135 · 29/08/2018 18:48

Hi Tobermory.
I too am aiming for 1.5 stone by Xmas. X

Lightheart86 · 29/08/2018 19:05

Yes I would also love 1.5 by Xmas!!
Good luck guys 👍🏼 We’ll support each other

Tobermory · 29/08/2018 19:21

The 1.5 by Christmas Club!!

I’ve never done a real life diet club before and was just dreading the first meeting. Dreading public weighing which didn’t happen.
My leader is really nice, lots of talk of plans to avoid tricky situations which does sound very seinsible.
There was lots of clapping too... guess I’ll just have to get used to that!!Grin

FoofFighter · 30/08/2018 07:39

1.5 by xmas is entirely plausible Smile

There's a pic on Instagram atm showing what you could lose by xmas if 1lb a week etc I shall attempt to find it!

FoofFighter · 30/08/2018 07:41

hope this works

FoofFighter thanks that’s fab x

So if I could do 2lb a week .....
