Thanks Basin and good luck with your weigh in today, I’m sure it won’t be as bad as you think. Today is my first SP day and I plan to have:

B - Poached egg and spinach on toast.
L - Tuna and egg salad.
D - WW wrap pizza with hoards of veg on it.

I’ll snack on speed fruit throughout the day if I’m hungry and will use some of my syns tonight for a hot chocolate and maybe some quavers or jelly or something after dinner.

Groovee · 16/04/2018 09:39

Had a great time. Had a cooked breakfast, 2 bowls of speed fruit salad and some toast as HE.

Heading home soon. Weigh in tomorrow!

Just weighed and have maintained this week, considering I was expecting a gain, I'm happy with that. Going to try and have a really good week and get to target next week!!
B - toast
L - chicken and couscous salad.
D - Turkey pasta bake.

Hello everyone, it's good to be back. Nice to see a couple of familiar returnees along with the newbies.
I managed to get to a group near my caravan and STS both weeks. I've WI at my home group this morning and have lost 1 1/2 lbs . Starting next Monday, I'll have to WI in the evening for 6 weeks due to work so I'm hoping that doesn't have a negative affect.
Hope you all have a good week.😊

Groovee · 16/04/2018 13:24

I'm home. Food shop done. Meal planning sorted. Am too relaxed. Am weighing in tomorrow on the hope that I may not gain. A maintain or loss would be nice but who knows.

Back to work on Wednesday.

Well done @Testarossa1 and @latedecember1963 on your weigh ins.

We have booked a few days away in the summer to Reighton Sands. It's near Bridlington so wee night out with my friends who haven't seen us for for 2 years. They'll get a shock lol.

Well done guys!

I somehow managed to lose half a pound tonight which has just blown my mind. I was hoping for a maintain but thinking I’d gain at least half a pound.

Well chuffed that I haven’t undone the previous 2 weeks and back on it properly now. I’m definately going to lower my target but will be by either 2lbs or 5lbs, haven’t decided yet but think I can do at least the extra 2lbs.

ALemonyPea · 16/04/2018 20:08

Had the new SW pork skewer things tonight, they were actually really nice! Definitely going to buy them again. They could actually be something I’d eat weekly when the DC have freezer surprise. They’d be nice in a tomato sauce as well.

I’m struggling to eat any cooked vegetables. Used to love mushrooms, broccoli, carrots and cauli, and now I just cant bring myself to eat them. Luckily salad season is coming up. I’m fine with raw veg, including carrots.

Groovee · 16/04/2018 20:40

That looks cool @Testarossa1

Whoo hooo @BasinHaircut

Oh @ALemonyPea could you just have raw veg?

BasinHaircut · 16/04/2018 20:50

Cheers groovee

lemony how come you’ve gone off veg? That’s a bit of a nightmare. How about trying some veggies you wouldn’t normally eat but do sort of like? I’ve recently started eating roasted cauliflower with a bit of curry powder and frylight on it. Wouldn’t normally eat cauliflower but it’s yum this way.

boats16 · 16/04/2018 21:13

Well done Basin Flowers
-@ lemony what about cauliflower cheese ? You cant taste the cauliflower in that.Well not the way I make it lol . . . Grin

ALemonyPea · 16/04/2018 21:15

It is a bit of a nightmare. It’s like an aversion. Developed in November when I had to stop eating veg for 5 days before my colonoscopy. Once I stopped eating them, I couldn’t bring myself to eat them again without feeling nauseous. It’s weird. I am trying to eat them, but my body says otherwise. I can eat them when smothered in a sauce (just) but that’s slowly going as well. Gravy doesn’t work now.

I love all veg, well used to, even my fave sprouts send me green. I’ve tried all ways to cook veg. Raw, like is day, is fine, so having salads and pickles a lot.

BasinHaircut · 16/04/2018 21:27

lemony that’s odd. And must be difficult trying to stay on track.

I’m sure you have already tried so forgive me if I’m teaching you to suck eggs, but have you tried making - for example - a risotto/dirty rice with loads of veg chopped up small but mixed up with rice and stock/seasoning to disguise it?

ALemonyPea · 16/04/2018 21:44

Tried it. I loved veggie rice, now can’t stomach it. It is making it hard to get the third speed in.

MumInTheCity · 16/04/2018 21:47

I lost 3lb this week. Really happy with that. Total loss is now 3 stone 2.5lb in 12 weeks. Hoping to get my 4 stone award before a night out I have booked for 25th May. Fingers crossed!

Groovee · 16/04/2018 21:54

Well done @MumInTheCity

Well done all the losers! I've got weigh in tomorrow. My scales said half on this am, hoping it will be better tomorrow morning!!

boats16 · 16/04/2018 22:49

Well done Mum 🎉🎉

Tweetypie30 · 17/04/2018 07:14

2 lbs off for me last night. Really pleased with that and happy to be back on track.

Well done to everyone else who has lost this week.

boats16 · 17/04/2018 07:55

Well done Tweetypie 😀😀😀

BasinHaircut · 17/04/2018 08:01

Awesome mum and tweety!

lemony Flowers you must be tearing your hair out.

MyGuideJools · 17/04/2018 08:32

well done losers. mum that's amazing in 12 weeks!
I STS this week, which is a little disappointing but I did have Chinese and chocolate so......
I do think my body has changed tho. The first time on SW I lost 5 stone in 9 months.
This time it's taken me 3 months to lose a stone and it's been a hard slogConfused

Testarossa1 · 17/04/2018 08:51

@lemony that's got to be tough, have you tried a cauliflower pizza base? How are you with fruit?

Had a good start to the week yesterday, I'm determined to reach target next week (1.5lbs) only used 3 syns yesterday. I'm going to a legs, bums and tums class this morning, never done one before.
Food wise;
B - Shreddies with Yoghurt & honey
L - Omelette and salad
D - steak with Jack daniels sauce (0.5syns) SW chips and veg.

Found some mini snack cucumbers in Lidl yesterday, going to try those today.

Cherrypi · 17/04/2018 09:48

Weigh in tonight. Really want to get my stone award as got to weigh at a different group next week and don’t want to go up in front of a load of strangers. Cooked the slimming eats Chinese curry yesterday and it was my favourite recipe so far. Really looking forward to reheating it for lunch.
