Well done Losers.

Hellllp I have been doing Slimming World for 2 years now. I lost 4.5stone the first year and it has taken me another year to lose the rest. It has really slowed down but is still going in the right direction and I am happy with where it is going. I would like to lose at least another 1.5stone, but I will see how I go.
I have always set small achievable goals such as stone, or half a stone at a time, so that I can see where I am going all the time, rather than just seeing a massive mountain that is totally unobtainable. My first goal, which I thought was a major mountain in itself was 2.5stone but I have just kept going since then.

Good day today :)
B - Boiled eggs with 2 light dairylea triangles
L - Smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwich
D - Jacket potato with cottage cheese and salad.

Snacks - banana, satsumas, grapes, alpen bar & a Muller light coconut yoghurt. May have an Options hot choc sachet later with some mini marshmallows :)

Solina · 20/06/2018 19:26

So I have lost 6 pounds on my first week. I am very happy with that. Next week I can hopefully get that 1/2 stone award.

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 20/06/2018 19:54

Everyone... AHH! I am really struggling today! Seems like I just can't stop being hungry no matter what! I'm trying so hard and I am not going to give in! I want a full on plan week! Star week still hasn't arrived so I am bloated AF!

B: Mocha with 175ml skimmed milk (6), banana and 2 Alpen Light(HexB)
L: Jacket Potato with beans, cheese and Salad at Whetherspoons (classing cheese as my hexA as there wasn't a lot of it)
D: ASDA piri piri Chicken burgers with air fried carrot batons and wild rocket
S: leftover chicken supreme pasta, a pear, skyr(1), satsuma

Ending the day on 7 syns.

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 20/06/2018 19:55

Well done @Solina that's amazing!

MyGuideJools · 20/06/2018 20:32

well done solina excellent startStar

Solina · 20/06/2018 21:29

Thanks! Smile

Meant to ask for some tips. I have a party to go to this weekend which will include a lot of syns. As it is just one day I am pretty sure I will still have a loss next week but is there anything you guys would suggest for the rest of the week to make sure?

MilkyCoffeeAndSkinnySyrup · 20/06/2018 22:34

@Solina just follow the plan exactly as you would! If you're having an off plan day then just take SW off your mind and enjoy it! Get back on it the next day. That's what I've always done and it has worked for me so far! I prefer planned days off cos I have the motivation in my head already that I will get back on it after.

StewPots · 21/06/2018 07:51

Morning all,

Planning another good day today but tomorrow is going to be a challenge. I'm in work 6.30am - 8.30pm, and I tend to grab and go food wise! This is where I have a massive fail and eat sandwiches out of pure hunger and convenience!

Any of you lovely people have any tips on what I can make that's easy to eat (usually one handed as tend to have my food whilst I do my paperwork), no fuss or fiddly and sticks to plan?

FaithEverPresent · 21/06/2018 09:58

I fell off the thread! I’m getting frustrated because my weight is coming off very slowly this time round...I maintained this week (although last week I hadn’t had dinner, this week I had). I’ll stick with it because I have a countdown. I could do with a bigger loss this week. I’m trying to cut down my sugar intake and should be getting my platinum body magic award next week.

Solina try to estimate the syn values of stuff. Grab whatever speed foods you can to fill up on. Maybe do a couple of S&P days other days of the week?

sar302 · 21/06/2018 10:30

Can I join please? 6 months post partum and just started SW this week. 4 stone to lose. Can only blame about 1.5 stone of that on the baby 🙈

I knew my diet was unhealthy (hence the gradual weight gain over the last 10 years)... but, damn! I didn't realise how much stuff I'd convinced myself wasn't that bad for me, that's really quite bad to eat every day.

This is going to be a big change.x

Solina · 21/06/2018 17:23

Thanks Milky and Faith. I will be making sure I eat plenty of the free food and less of the synned food although I am not sure what there will be. Most syns will be from the alcohol.

I have decided to stick to the plan as usual on the other days and focus the most on the next day as that will be the hardest if I end up with a hangover. Will make sure I have everything for a SW fry up. And more importantly I will enjoy myself and not worry too much.

On another note. We had cake and pastries at work today and I didnt touch them and I didn't even really want them as I was happy with what I had with me. I felt quite proud of myself!

Cherrypi · 21/06/2018 18:30
