I weighed in this afternoon at my meeting and lost 2.5 pounds.

Am really pleased, but also a bit gutted as another 0.5 would have got me my 1 stone award! Ah well, next week.

MumInTheCity · 15/05/2018 19:04

B - orange and Apple
L - stir fried vegetables with rice
D - spaghetti bolognese
S - muller light, small portion of Apple crumble (not sure on syns so I'm counting it as 15)

Cherrypi · 15/05/2018 20:23

Pound and a half off and my club 10 award. Was a bit of an anticlimax really. Excited to learn of the free week though. Some one in our group lost 12.5lb this week!

PositiveAttitude · 15/05/2018 20:52

Well done losers! And 12.5lb!!! Bloody hell. Was she very big to start with?

I lost just 0.5lb this week, but it is still in the right direction and it takes me to my lowest weight again, anything less than this I have not seen since before 1995. Grin (I lost weight just before my 9th pregnancy, which turned into DS Grin ) I am determined to have another loss next week and keep going in the right direction now.

Cherrypi · 15/05/2018 20:55

He wasn’t that big. He said he’d sweated a lot that day. I think slimming world needs an award for continuous small losses not just the short term big losses. 1995 wow!

FaithEverPresent · 15/05/2018 22:08

Welcome Martini and Zami.

Grey I had that for my 2 stone award! Lost 2lb but was so annoyed! I self-sabotaged for a couple of days but got back on it to get it the next week Smile

I’ve had a pretty good day food wise and have done an interval run (training for a 10k and doing my platinum body magic!). I’ve finding I’m hungry a lot since starting again. Not sure if I’d got used to having more fat again? I’m trying to fill up on speed foods as best I can.

Oldowl · 15/05/2018 22:16

Hope you enjoy the wedding on Saturday, Martini.

It's not in Windsor is it? Grin I bet that would be a good buffet and worth a few extra syns!

YerAuntFanny · 16/05/2018 11:17

Argh, so frustrated!

It's weigh in day and DD is at home with chicken pox so won't be able to go and have to work evenings to cover the mornings I can't get childcare for so need to wait until next week. Just bought a 6 week countdown last week too 🙄

Martinimonster · 16/05/2018 16:51

Grin oh that would be good. I would be using all my Syns and more at the Windsor wedding.
Totally stuffed my face last night Confused all within syns but I gorged on pineapple and fry light chips.
Today I have a bad belly ache and sore gums from the acidity in the pineapple and I'm getting sick of fry light chips.
Need to mix it up a bit I think more rice and pasta.
I used all my Syns during breakfast too so tonight is going to dull.
I think I just needed that full up feeling again after feeling hungry each night.

FaithEverPresent · 16/05/2018 18:01

Yer sorry to hear that. Contact your consultant, they can waive you the odd week if you can’t attend so you don’t lose your countdown. Hope she’s better soon.

FrozenMargarita17 · 17/05/2018 21:54

I'm really struggling to stay on plan but I'm managing it 80% of the time. My weight loss slowed for a week or two and I was so disappointed.

YerAuntFanny · 17/05/2018 22:30

Got my head back in it today so I need to keep at it!

After missing last night I've decided to put my slow weeks behind me and set my target for 10st 12lbs as I figure it'll give me something to aim for and the upper end is pretty much where I want to be so I can play with a few lbs and not revert back to feeling sorry for myself.

Today's menu: I didn't use any syns but it wasn't intentional, was just busy with the poxy one!
B: Strawberries, pear, satsuma, grapes and FF natural yogurt
L: Baked couscous, ham and cheese (A) salad
S: Banana
D: Vegetable broth
S: 14 cashews (B)

MyGuideJools · 18/05/2018 08:35

I've not been on the thread as I've had a horrible virus thing. wiped me right out. I've gone from eating nothing to filling up with crap.
I'm looking forward to getting back to group next week & getting back on plan!

abbaroony · 18/05/2018 08:47

I had my first weigh in last night and I lost 2lbs. Happy with that as I started on 10st 3lbs and I set an interim target of 9 stone so wasn’t expecting a huge loss in my first week like I know some people manage.

I was really nervous to weigh in because it feels like I’ve eaten loads, so I convinced myself I’d be the only person in slimming world history to gain in their first week!

Have my first real test tomorrow... will be watching the royal wedding in a pub and then going to an 18th birthday party in the evening. Has anyone got any tips for staying on track in these kind of situations? I’m not sure whether to just accept that I’ll have 1 day that won’t be great and maybe try and reduce syns for the remainder of the week, or to try and stay on plan even though I’m not sure if that will be possible because I don’t know what will be on offer?

YerAuntFanny · 18/05/2018 09:12

Jools, glad to hear you're feeling better. I'm the same when I've been ill, stomach turns into a bottomless pit and no speed food is allowed!

Abbaroony, 2lbs is a good start so well done :o Personally, I tend to take the day off and straight back to it the next day if there's an event on. Just enjoy, life's to short to be worrying about eating a few syns extra once in while!

MyGuideJools · 18/05/2018 09:13

abbaroony well done on 2lb! that's a good start, you must feel encouraged.
From personal experience I would probably write off tomorrow and enjoy your day rather than stressing about syns.
Obviously don't eat everything in sight but enjoy yourself 🍸

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/05/2018 09:28

I’ve gained a lb. sure it was more from holiday. I should have weighed myself on Saturday but I’ve been good this week so what I did gain must have almost come off

B bacon sarnie in pitta b
Lchixjen salad

raisedbyguineapigs · 18/05/2018 09:46

I've stayed the same. Bit cheesed off really. I had one blow out dessert but was on track for the rest of the week. I'm going back to basics and writing everything down this week to see if it makes a difference. I've been fasting too from 8pm to 12. I've been a bit slack in the evening on that though so will try not to eat after 8.

MyGuideJools · 18/05/2018 10:04

sometimes gains make no sense!
blondes how much did you put on on your holiday? 1lb is good! I put on 6lb Shock

Groovee · 18/05/2018 20:18

Hi,

I haven't been about as I've spent this week on courses and yesterday I had an interview and sports day. They told me I wouldn't hear til Tuesday. But at lunch I was shocked to get a call saying I was being offered the job. I was just so happy. Dd took me out for cake. And we went out for dinner where I had Seabass.

I had a huge ice cream yesterday too which I have wanted for 4 weeks. I hadn't had one like that for about 2 years. So I enjoyed it very much,

Start my job on the 28th. Going from 3 days to 5 days. So my jobshare got her week's notice. She called me today and was so lovely about it.

So I need to be more bloody organised lol!
