Another one come back to this thread, if you will have me back.
I haven't strayed too far off plan - been going to group each week and plodding away, but just not lost as much as I would have liked over the past 6 months or nearly a year!! Last week I put in a concerted effort and lost 3lb, which was huge for me as I am normally a slow loser. This week I have been on it like a car bonnet again but going from my weightloss history it doesn't mean I will have a significant loss, or even a loss at all. Weigh in tomorrow, so we shall see. I am at a 5 stone 8 lb loss, and would like to lose another 2 stone.
We are at the end of having our house done up. We have had the decorators/builders in since July last year and it has made it more difficult, especially when they did the kitchen. We are now at the stage of having new flooring put in throughout, so I will once again not have access to the kitchen for a few days, which will be a pain. It would be so much easier if I had a take-away each evening for those few days, but I will try and be organised and have the slow cooker put into the lounge and do meals in there instead.
Have any of you tried the hypnosis for weightloss to help you? A lady came to our group a few months ago and spoke about it. She then did an offer for one session at half price. I forked out £30 to go and see her with the hope of the hypnosis triggering my brain to actually not eat so much. I am really not sure it worked at all (I went about 6 weeks ago, so not just before the good loss last week) Actually I gained for the 2 weeks after I went!!
