MumInTheCity · 11/05/2018 19:20

Welcome back blondes.

I'm back on track today after a terrible few days.

B - orange
L - jacket potato with prawn salad (2 syns for sauce)
D - chicken alfredo pasta (HEA for cheese)
S - pineapple, 2 hifi bars (HEB), bag of skips (3.5)

Oldowl · 11/05/2018 19:28

I have had a terrible few days food-wise. I have just picked at everything. The stress of a school inspection with 24 hrs notice.

Luckily, school inspection went well. Now need to get back on track and maintain not gain.

didireallysaythat · 11/05/2018 23:05

Back again. Having put on 2 weeks ago (completely deserved, didn't deserve to lose the week before), I lost 4lb this week which is my record. I am a little worried it's a mistake, and that I won't lose next week. This losing weight thing is so in your head.

Do you think a stone by mid August is achievable ? My consultant says you can lose a stone in a month, but since January she's put on most weeks so I'm not sure I believe her !

Cherrypi · 12/05/2018 06:30

Yes a stone definitely possible as that’s a pound a week. Sp days definitely make me crave carbs loads around 4 onwards. Gave in yesterday and ate too much. I had a weight watcher wrap for lunch.

OwlinaTree · 12/05/2018 08:22

Glad the inspection went well oldowl, it's so stressful but over quickly!

What a lovely bank holiday we've had! I tried to stick to plan but I'm sure I went over a bit! Didn't make weigh in Tuesday as too busy at work. Probably just as well!

Hand been on plan all week, had a biscuit at work yesterday but was only 2.5syns. Had a burger and chips for tea, DH had bought rolls but they were about 12 syns so I just had it with salad. It was nice like that and I felt full.

Overnight at a friend tonight, so dinner, breakfast and drinks will be out of my hands a bit! Will try to stick to plan for the other meals.

Groovee · 12/05/2018 12:40

Blondes I usually have paprika chicken substitute chips for a baked potato and have a side salad with no dressing.

I'm baking. It's a hard one as I want to eat everything I bake!

Cherrypi · 12/05/2018 13:06

My son wants to bake. I’m hoping he forgets. Husband brought home a load of homemade chocolate brownies from work. Saboteurs!

Testarossa1 · 12/05/2018 15:36

Still trying to get my maintaining journey on track. I weighed myself this morning and I said 9st 6, which is 4lb under my target!! Been eating more, extra a and b and trying to have more syns. But it's hard!!! Will have to see what the official scales say on Monday!

Greymalkin · 12/05/2018 17:16

Hi everyone, can I join?

I started SW three weeks ago, lost 11lb so far and am really enjoying it.

I have at least 4 stone to lose over all, but for now I don't have a particular target weight in mind, just a wardrobe of size 14 clothes I'd like to wear!

donkey86 · 12/05/2018 18:58

I joined today. I have 3 stone 3.5lb to lose. It feels like a lot but I know people have succeeded with a lot more.

I’ve done so many diets over the years (who hasn’t!) but I’m really hoping this one works. The free food concept really appeals to me though all the s, p, a and b stuff looks a bit complicated.

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/05/2018 21:08

B - orange and blueberries
L - leftover chicken alfredo pasta (HEA for cheese)
D - chicken chow mein, egg fried rice, stir fried veg and spring rolls made with lasagne sheets - all homemade and syn free (unless you count the spring rolls as a tweak which I don't!)
S - 2 hifis (HEB), jelly (0.5), caramel Freddo (4.5), m&s sausage (1)

calzone · 13/05/2018 11:10

B....2 weetabix, blueberries, strawberries and mullerlight

YerAuntFanny · 13/05/2018 12:33

Good afternoon everyone!

Can I join in? I've been at group a year this month and I can feel my motivation slipping recently because I've gotten complacent!

I started at 16st 2lbs and now weigh 12st 1.5lbs, I haven't actually set a target yet because I've always been overweight and who knows when I'll feel comfortable!

Starting to think I should though as it might spur me on having a definite end goal, I'm 5"3 and THINK I'd like to aim for 11st purely because my Mum is a similar build to me but looks good at that weight.

Did anyone else have an issue with deciding when to stop and setting targets?

Oldowl · 13/05/2018 14:57

I needed a target AuntFanny. I am target driven and I needed a goal to aim for. Mind you, I have changed it twice since.

11 st sound like a good target to aim for. Welcome to the thread.

Cherrypi · 13/05/2018 18:09

B: granola, quark and berries
L: beans on toast, jelly
D: spaghetti Bolognese
S: banana, melon, sugar free butterscotch

Not enough speed today.

Blondeshavemorefun · 13/05/2018 19:00

B ommlette pepper ham onion cheese a
L salad
T sw roast

YerAuntFanny · 13/05/2018 19:13

B: Potato rosti, wilted spinach, fried mushrooms and roasted tomatoes

L: Melon, grapes, apple, natural yogurt

S: Satsuma

D: Baked potato, beans, cheese (A), salad

If I get hungry later I've saved my B choice for either baked carrot cake oats or some cashew nuts. Haven't quite decided 😂

Groovee · 13/05/2018 19:54

Welcome @YerAuntFanny. I was over 16st when I was told to lose weight. Started SW at 15st 7lb and am currently at target at 11st but last weigh in was 10st 12lb. I set my target in November and I finally hit it in March.

Have done a burlesque class and a 76 minutes walk. Am shattered now.

Got a before and after photo to share. I got my hoodie from Burlesque and OMG the difference in me.
