namechanger14 · 02/05/2018 21:35

@Starla, was eating normal amount as just had fever (unknown origin), which was weird. It was just the dizziness and nausea from the fever that put me in bed. Was quite scary as despite being in my 30s and having had many illness, I have never had a fever before, at the most I've had a slightly high temp (37.4 was my highest), it is NOT an experience I wish to repeat lol.
Some1 said that I might be retaining water, which was forced to leave my body due to the fever or try to replace water I was losing through sweat? Not sure though, not that I'm gonna complain, a loss is a loss and I'll take it anyway I can get it 😁😁

boats16 · 02/05/2018 21:36

Amalfimamma · 02/05/2018 22:57

Hi all, started back yesterday after months of the wagon. Been extra good so hoping to keep it up

BasinHaircut · 03/05/2018 08:11

I have had 2 pretty spectacularly bad days after hitting target on Monday, ended up going for a beer (only one though) and then a Chinese after work when my personal trainer cancelled last night’s session Blush.

Back on it today. Weetabix for breakfast.

Messaged my consultant and she confirmed I hit target and just asked if I wanted to change it. I said no but was aiming for bottom end of range before my holiday. I asked if I can still WI each week now I’m at target even though I don’t have to and that message got ignored! Feel a bit like she doesn’t give a shite now she knows I’m not paying TBH. Will go in next week though and try and stay for group.

MyGuideJools · 03/05/2018 13:22

that's not good basin our group used to make a fuss when people hit target, you should at least get a certificate. im sure our consultant always gave the target person flowers!

Groovee · 03/05/2018 13:26

Aww Basin that's a shame as my consultant has beeN Great when we've hit target and made a fuss of us and continued to support us.

MumInTheCity · 03/05/2018 18:20

That's horrible Basin, definitely not how it's meant to be, my consultant always makes a big fuss of target members and lots of them still come every week.

I tried a new pinch of nom recipe tonight, chicken alfredo tagliatelle, it was delicious!

B - banana
L - Diet Coke chicken, rice and veg
D - chicken alfredo tagliatelle with mixed veg (HEA for the light Philly)
S - 2 hifis (HEB), maybe some chocolate later

Hi, second wi in for me and DH tonight after both losing 7 pounds last week. He has put on 3. I don't weigh in till 7.30 due to childcare. Any tips on supporting him after such a disappointing 2nd week? We had a small homemade pizza last Friday but otherwise stuck to plan, usually 5 or less syns a day so I'm not sure what to say to him.

BasinHaircut · 03/05/2018 21:31

Oh fran that’s hard when you know you’ve been good, he must be gutted. How did you get on? I think sometimes it’s just your body adjusting though.

Thanks all. I only rejoined to lose half a stone I’d re-gained so I do feel like a bit of a fraud hitting target after only 5 weeks so I don’t want a fuss! But a well done would have been nice! I didn’t stay to group but I thought she might have noticed when she was going through the losses and text me or something.

Anyway never mind, I’m at target and need to stay level headed about it.

Littlepig8834 · 03/05/2018 23:27

2.5lbs on for me today. Expected as I've had a shit week with work and my DD moving to pre-school. Not ate loads of crap but have just grabbed what's available. Hoping to get it off next week. Got a wedding in June and would like to be in the next Stone bracket by then.

namechanger14 · 03/05/2018 23:49

1lb gain for me today, which I was expecting as per @basins warning (thanks, made it easier to handle xx). I also completely cheated and was taken hostage by my dh kebab that he just couldn't finish last night and i'll be buggered if the dogs gonna get at it, so I sacrificed myself to save the dog (from what I'm not quite clear on 🤣🤣) and I have now got greasy, kebab craving out of my system and am moving on.
Applause to everyone no matter what, but stiff (syn free) cocktails to those who aren't 100% happy with their results
xxx

BasinHaircut · 04/05/2018 07:42

You still lost 6lbs over 2 weeks name, look at it that way! If you hadn’t been ill then last week’s loss might have only been half of that so you probably lost fat this week even though the scales went up.

boats16 · 04/05/2018 08:22

Never mind Littlepig and name .Onwards and upwards as they say.Tomorrow is the start of a fresh week, get back on the bike (as they say) and try again.I've had many a week like that but it comes good in the end. I STS this week which I am pleased about as I am trying to maintain 😀

StarlaPriest · 04/05/2018 09:35

I’ve been reading people’s posts where you detail what you’re eaten/you’ve eaten every day. Are we supposed to do this here? Or is it for ideas for others, to keep track for yourselves? I’m not sure if I should be doing that too Hmm

Amalfimamma · 04/05/2018 09:42

@StarlaPriest
I do it to hold myself accountable and to maybe give others some ideas.

BasinHaircut · 04/05/2018 12:03

You can use this page however you want starla, I used to post pics of dinner because it made me try harder to make nice tasting and looking things and try and keep it interesting and fresh and make sure there was 1/3 speed on the plate! Hopefully others found it useful but if not it was just something keeping me on track. Might start doing it again, although we are eating a bit more basic these days as I’m also trying to cut the food bill by a third!

Groovee · 04/05/2018 13:01

I'm bad for posting pics. 😳 everyone tells me it looks good but sometimes I am not convinced. 😂

OP posts:
MumInTheCity · 04/05/2018 13:17

I used to keep a food diary online on the SW website, but it was a pain to use with a weird layout so I post my daily menu here instead, it's mainly so that I can keep track myself, partly to offer ideas to others, like when I've tried a new recipe, and also to get advice, e.g. If I've had a gain then other posters might be able to spot what's gone wrong from my previous posts and off some suggestions.

boats16 · 04/05/2018 15:59

I never posted my food here.I kept a log at home instead.I don't know why.I found a lot of support on here though. That's why I'm still on . I'm trying to maintain

OwlinaTree · 04/05/2018 18:48

Really tempted by a takeaway tonight Blush

OwlinaTree · 04/05/2018 18:49
