That’s how I feel @boats.

Happy to have salad for lunch - essier when hot - but the nice yummy evening meals and possibly fried in oil 🙀🙀🙀 fried breakie will take its toll ........

Let alone booze 🍸🍸🍸🍸

boats16 · 27/04/2018 10:15

I know, but we can't put more than half a stone on and we've lost 11/2 so well still be down a stone.I'm away for 10 days though 😮

Groovee · 27/04/2018 11:11

Last year on holiday in Dpaim I gained 5.5lb. Lost 5lb the following g which I was delighted with as I had my surgery 3 days after my holiday weigh in. So was on total bedrest for4 days.

Making a tuna, potoato, green beans, tomato, cucumber and garlic mayo salad for lunch. My colleague had something similar the other day and I've wanted it since.

have a fab time!!

Littlepig8834 · 28/04/2018 11:17

Not been on in a while, lost 1st 2lbs in 10 weeks so I'm pleased with that, despite a maintain this week.

I'm off to Wagamama's tonight, any good SW choices there? I've never been before.

Well done to all others on their losses!

mayathebee · 28/04/2018 11:40

Weighed in a day early this week as we are off on a trip very early tomorrow and I'll probably forget. I've lost 3.5lb this week! That takes me to 11lb altogether and I can definitely feel a difference in my clothes now. I didn't need to lie down and breath in to get my size 16 jeans on (they are a bit loose) and the sweater I'm wearing is usually stretched over my tummy but is comfy now.

Your holiday plans all sound great. We are just going to have a couple of weeks in our caravan this year. We might drag it down to Devon or the New Forest and are hoping to do some water activities (sailing or surfing) but we are saving to go to Singapore next year so we'll be on a budget.

mayathebee · 28/04/2018 11:41

Well done Littlepig8834, that's a great loss!

boats16 · 28/04/2018 15:17

Well done Littlepig and May 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

MamaBear2181 · 28/04/2018 16:19

Well done on your losses ladies :)

MumInTheCity · 28/04/2018 20:09

Well done losers! I've been busy studying all day, managed 3300 words so far, only another 700 to go 😫. Still, at least my food has been on plan!

B - none
L - bacon, spinach and Parmesan quiche with a sweet potato crust, tomatoes and asparagus
D - leftover pasta bake and salad
S - nothing yet but once I get this easy done I'm having a bag of hula hoop pufts, a Freddo and a jelly

Testarossa1 · 29/04/2018 09:44

Been absent for a couple of days, been working 7-7 and had the period from hell, wiped me out, felt like I'd had a virus, wobbly legs included, not had one like that for ages. Tried to stay on track as much as possible, I've been having 2 healthy extra a and b's. Will be interesting to see what the scales say tomorrow.
So today we're out, so going to harvester for lunch, I've heard that if you show them your slimming world card you can get 20% off. Will report back later if it works!

Groovee · 29/04/2018 11:57

Enjoy @Testarossa1

Just plodding away here!

OP posts:
Testarossa1 · 29/04/2018 17:11

Harvester said they only accept the card if there is a group near by, don't know how they work that out! I had gammon, with pineapple, mushroom, tomato and chips, I contemplated a jacket potatoes, but just really fancied chips!!

Cherrypi · 29/04/2018 19:37

The new Heinz creations lentil curry is yummy and free. £1 in Tesco. The Yorkshire biscuit tea is very yummy.

PinkUnicorn1990 · 30/04/2018 07:34

Back on plan after 2 weeks off and 3lb on Blush

B-alpen light bar (b)
L- jacket potato with low fat spread (2) and cheese (a) and fat free vanilla yogurt
T- nacho beef with potato wedges (6)
S- other alpen light bar (b) maybe a fibre one brownie for pudding (4 so 12syns in total for the day)

Cherrypi · 30/04/2018 07:37

I’m starting to lose focus and crave junk. Having to write down all my food for the rest of my life seems daunting. Passing that bbc string test despite being overweight may have triggered some complacency.

Testarossa1 · 30/04/2018 09:05

@Cherrypi you don't have to write down your food for the rest of your life! It's just to get you focused on what you're eating, making sure you eat enough speed, you're having you're healthy extras and not too many syns. I started in January, reached target last week (1st 9 off) all I do now is keep track of my syns and healthy extras.

Go back and re-read your book, have lots of healthy snacks prepared in the fridge that you can grab. Have a little of what you fancy, just don't go mad, syn it and move on.

mayathebee · 30/04/2018 09:31

@cherripi I don't write down any of my food although I do use an app called slimit to track my healthy extras and syns. I don't use it every day and I don't add any details - I just tick off my hexa, hexb and count my syns so I remember what I've had.

I made pizza topped chicken yesterday - it was delicious and very filling. I didn't bother having any carbs with it, just a big pile of broccoli, peas and asparagus.

mayathebee · 30/04/2018 09:31

Sorry, Cherrypi not cherripi

Cherrypi · 30/04/2018 09:38

I’ll have a look at that app. Thanks. I think I need to eat more speed and less bananas/grapes. Hopefully I’ll be able to do more of it in my head when I’m trying to maintain.

Testarossa1 · 30/04/2018 11:02

Lost another 1.5lb this week. Not so good when i hit target last week!!

Groovee · 30/04/2018 13:19

I use Slimit too.

My teens are on exam leave. They are driving me mad!

OP posts:
Oldowl · 30/04/2018 18:45

Went to a funeral this afternoon. The wake looked like 'The Great British Bake Off'. I am afraid I had a few 'no thank you portions'!

I have probably eaten about 30 syns! (I take it blueberry Bakewell slices or Earl Grey and lemon cake are not speed!!)

I can't avoid WI for another week. Wish me luck tomorrow.

Goldensunnydays81 · 01/05/2018 06:46

Hi
Can I come and join you, I have a lot to loseBlush but have just done my first week and have lost 3.5lb so I’m happy with that!
Had anyone else got type 1 diabetes too? I’m finding it ok, but just have to spend time working out carbs too for my insulin. So I just need to get organised!
