Thanks boats - I have a one piece with a tummy panel but I went for boring black because I felt self conscious. I'm going to wait until I drop a size then look for something a bit more colourful. I'm working on being less self-critical!

Woo! Weigh in this morning,1.5lbs off and finally reached my target Grin pleased as I was super good last week. Got to learn to maintain now. 1st 9lbs gone forever (hopefully!!!!)

Thanks Groovee been given another book with tips and hints in etc. Consultant said this morning it's all about balance now, I can have little treats, or days off plan, but balance it with having the other days as good on plan days. Which I find quite sensible advice.

mayathebee I'm not going anywhere! Still going to go to group as I think I'd find it too easy to slip back into bad habits!

Thanks myguidejools it's kind of a tad scary knowing I can 'relax a little now and again. Going to carry on with what I've been doing, I'm not consciously going to go looking for treats etc, but just see what happens!

I weighed myself this morning and I'm half off so I'm pleased with that. I'm trying very hard to keep up with it all while not attending group. I don't think the group made much difference at all really!

Sorry to have disappeared for a while - I've had a crazy few weeks at work, followed by a week all inclusive in Cyprus. I braved weigh in this morning and was delighted to find I actually lost 1lb! I was definitely not an angel but I tried to be broadly sensible...
So pleased, and aiming to get my 1st award next week.

I keep going to group, so I don't slip back but also for the social side. I have made some good friends in group. We actually started up a social walking group each Thursday evening too.

Mayathebee, I have never ventured into a bikini either. I am now size 10/12 but it is a black swimsuit all the way for me!

I know this might sound silly but I am finding it harder to maintain. I knew exactly what I could have if I wanted to lose, but now It's difficult to know how to maintain that balance 🤔

I've been starving today.

B - 2 weetabix with blueberries and apple with 100ml milk
L - large salad, ham and corn on the cob (using up bbq stuff!)
D - heck sausages (2.5 syns) with potato cubes and vegetables

Snacks - 2 large Americanos with semi skimmed milk (I say these are a snack haha). Carrot and Bowl of fruit with meringue (3 syns)

lemony if you are still about FWIW I think you are doing the right thing. If you can’t eat speed then you need to try something else to see if it’s easier/more effective. Fruit and veg is such a big part of SW. Do let us know how you are getting on though.

Had a not so good weekend and booked holiday so I didn’t have to WI yesterday Blush

Had a really long day out on Sunday and ended up getting a Chinese on the way home as we were exhausted and my will power dissolved. I don’t think it will have been too bad, but the bloat from water retention etc means I would have definitely shown a big gain on the scales. My home scales showed about 5lb on but I know it’s just bloating. I didn’t want it written down in my book though as I’m only currently 1lb away from target (although I might lower it by 2lbs).

Madness how much one salty meal can affect weight, and I find it takes most of the week to come back off. I’m trying to drink loads to flush it through.

I’m at a conference for the next 2 days so I’m hoping lunch is similar to last year where there was chicken breasts and veg/salad. I’ve had weetabix for breakfast and have a banana and an apple in my bag for a mid morning snack.

Going to hot yoga tonight too to hopefully sweat the Chinese out!

If I have chinese I usually have it Fri night as my WI isn't till the next Fri morn lol 😆

I rarely eat all my syns and tho they say you now shouldn’t do over a week and 15 a day I find weekly works better for me

Yep one of the annoying things about a Monday WI! Although it helps keep me on track at the weekend in general, even though they are so much harder than week days for me.

This weekend we have nothing on so I’m going to try really hard to stay 100% on plan. I’m out Thursday for dinner at Wagamama and will have something within syns.

Was gagging for a biscuit at morning coffee at my conference but there is only fruit so that’s helped me out.
