Welcome Pink jenny 😀

Lovely walk this morning. Just had lunch at the cafe. I did cave a bit and had a cooked breakfast, though did go for the light option. 1 sausage, 1 rasher bacon, 1egg, beans and a slice of brown toast (with butter!!!!) So not too hideously bad. Have Just walked 5 miles, so hoping that counter balanced it out! Weather is glorious!

Wow! Testa, I'm so jealous. I love a good walk, that view certainly beats the village roads round my way. Beautiful weather too!

Testarossa1 · 21/04/2018 15:51

@oldowl thanks, here's another view from the same walk. It's a circular walk round Langsett reservoir, it's lovely as you get right up on top of the moors. Plus only a 30min drive from home. The weather was great, we were walking in shorts and t shirts.

MyGuideJools · 22/04/2018 07:55

welcome newbies, sazreed amazing loss!

I too came back to SW after a year off. I lost 5 stone in 9 months then my dear dad died and I went totally off plan and gained 3, BlushI couldn't believe how quickly it goes back on!
So here I am again! I've lost a stone since Feb but the loss is so slow this time. I'm determined tho!
After saying all that, I'm on hols next week so the plan will go out the window and I will most definitely gain a few pounds.
lemony so.sad you are leaving us!! you were my inspiration. I do hope ww works for you tho. please come back on the thread and tell us how it's going Flowers
Hope everyone has a good sunny Sunday.
testa that walk looks amazing, such lovely scenery.

sazreed · 22/04/2018 09:17

Jules. Sorry to hear about your dad. ❤️ And yes it goes on so quickly. But at least we are still trying. And that’s a much better option than giving up. Xx

MyGuideJools · 22/04/2018 09:39

thanks sazreed very true! I'm going to enjoy this holiday and get straight back on it. I will try to eat lots of fruit but as it's all inclusive I can't guarantee there won't be booze, desserts and calorie laden goodiesGrin

boats16 · 22/04/2018 10:03

Where is it you're going again Jools ? Did you reach the amount you wanted to lose for your hols ? The only problem I have now is that I lost the weight so I'd look ok in a bikini but I don't because my stomach is full of wrinkles where the fat was 😢 I'm going 1st week in June. I feel like putting it back on so I won't look so bad !!!

sazreed · 22/04/2018 10:59

Boats I bet u look fab in a cozie tho. Bet u would have felt uncomfortable even more before u lost. I have lots of skin. Arms are the worst. Horrible. So I understand. So I still cover up. I go to Spain in 2 weeks also all inclusive jools. I also may partake in a few (too many)cocktails. 😃

MyGuideJools · 22/04/2018 11:07

I'm going to Tenerife, I'm nowhere near my original weight after the 5 stone loss, ive still got 2 stone to lose to get back to that but I'm glad I've lost a stone before I go.
I still wouldn't feel confident in a bikini. I've got a nice costume 2 sizes smaller than my hols 2 years ago so that's something! I hate my upper arms but they look a bit better with a bit of a tan😎

I'm thinking of a costume.I saw one that I might feel ok in. I don't really like them , but this looks quite jazzy I will take the biking just in case because no one seems to care on holiday. @ Jools - you've lost the same as me so I know where you're coming from.My arms are floppy too.I'm trying to tone them up 😀

Groovee · 22/04/2018 13:04

I went for all in ones last year. I don't like my post surgery scars from 7 years ago. So like to cover up. Asda had some fab pull it all in last year which I loved. I do need new swim suits as the ones I have are too big.

OP posts:
MyGuideJools · 22/04/2018 14:44

this one was from Bon Marche. it has a little skirty bit to cover my bum and top of my thighsGrin it's a size 14 instead of an 18/20 which I was chuffed with.

sazreed · 22/04/2018 15:38

I had one from sainsburys. When it’s on it looks like a blouse tucked into knickers. So hides my tum a little. I really love it 😍

boats16 · 22/04/2018 16:17

I got a black bikini from Asda last year ( it's supposed to be a slimming colour , isn't it ? ) with a little skirt round the bum and thighs like Jools and I felt confident in it.Too big now though lol😄 can you not reduce the wrinkles ?

boats16 · 22/04/2018 16:19

When I made a determined effort to reduce weight I didn't think of the negatives😮

FrozenMargarita17 · 22/04/2018 16:33

I braved and bought a bikini. I thought if I didn't do it now I never would because of having my baby 9 months ago. Hopefully I don't feel too embarrassed in it. It's high waist though so covers stretch marks!

Today's good:

B - nothing
L - bbq, salmon and chicken and lots of salad with new potatoes
D - leftover bbq

Syns - one wafer ice cream at 138 calories so estimated 7 syns.

Testarossa1 · 22/04/2018 17:51

Early start for me and fo this morning. We went selling to a car boot, we had to get up at 5am!! We made £104 though, so was worth it. I took overnight weetabix for our breakfast and some fruit to snack on.

Lunch was a big ham salad. And dinner will be a slimming world roast. Will syn the gravy.

mayathebee · 23/04/2018 08:58

Morning all, 2lb off this week which makes 8lb in all. Thanks for all the support and advice when I had my mid-week wobble and sorry I then disappeared. The end of the week was crazily busy at work then DD fell on Friday and school thought she might have broken her fingers. We spent Sat morning in A&E having xrays but luckily nothing's broken, just badly sprained and swollen.

I've carried on weighing myself daily this week and noticed that my weight goes up the day after a long run so I'm going to do a weekly weigh in on a Sunday but leave it till Monday if I've done my long run on a Sat evening.

I've been really interested in all the swimming suit talk as I've never felt comfortable in a swimsuit. I always felt overweight, even when I wasn't. I'd be happy to feel good in a one piece and have no ambition to wear a bikini but I have terrible stretch marks already and I do worry how awful my skin will look. I'd rather be healthy even with loose skin but I'm still hoping it's not too bad.
