Ive realized I've effectively been wasting my time for the past 2 months, as ive lost and put on the same 3-4 lbs and am back where I was 2 months ago Confused
I have been a bit slapdash with counting my syns and have been estimating but I feel really disheartened. It s not like Ive been pigging out completely. I don't know why I cant follow it properly. Maybe I'm not in the right mindset, but I don't know when I will be if not now. At least I'm a stone and 1/4 down, but its taken 9 months! I don't know how much longer to give it Sad

Imagine how much bigger you would be if you hadn’t lost some weight.

I’ve messed around for a while but I’m in no hurry to get to target.

@raisedbyguineapigs something that helps me is to write everything down so I KNOW I'm not going over. I once realised I'd eaten two hexB's in a day - I'm really sleep deprived and I can't keep it up unless I write it all down and know what I'm doing

I bought one of those blue diaries to write everything down in. It was just disheartening realizing Id got nowhere! Ill give it 12 weeks more!

@ Blondes I never go to weigh in , I don't belong to a club . I follow SW at home and weigh myself Fri mornings. This week I have lost my 1lb again so I am back to my 1 1/2 stone weight loss . I was positive I had gained. Thanks for the push 😀😀😀😀😀

I sts this week. I'm wondering if my weekend away last week is catching up with me. Not too fussed as long as it's not a gain really. The weather is making me want to eat lots of fruit so that's good :)

Hello everyone, I would really like to join in. I have recently lost 7 stone. 5 and half of that was with slimming world. I got to target but then had to stop going to group for one reason or another. Anyway i'm now 20 pounds heavier and I really want to get it off before it takes me down the slippery slope of no return. I let plan slip after target and gained really quickly, but I know I don't want to go back there. So tomorrow I am back on plan! I have a holiday in 2 weeks but want to start now, will still enjoy my hols tho and get back on it afterwards.
I always read this thread and have done for about 8 months on and off. Its great how u support each other and idea share etc so i would love to get involved. :)

After I posted on Tuesday, and after all the advice and support from everyone, I’ve decided to jump ship, and going to try WW to get this stone shifted. I can’t stomach the third veg I need, and struggling to stay away from free foods, I’m developing a bad eating habit.

So have been on WW for two days, and managing nicely so far.

Didn’t want to just disappear, you’ve all offered me such great support over the last two years, couldn’t have got here without you all. Good luck everyone!

B - mango
L - egg and beetroot salad with extra light mayo (1 syn)
D - Diet Coke chicken with bean sprouts and pak choi
S - 2 hifi bars (HEB), a mullerlight and some grapes

Was at a training workshop all day today and so much amazing looking food was provided, loads of sandwiches, cakes, biscuits etc. I'm very proud that I managed to resist all temptation and stuck to my salad and fruit!

@boats16 no I'm still trying to lose another stone and a half but I know I won't lose every single week so trying not to let it get me down! I did have a naughty coffee in the week but stayed on plan for the rest. Must just be one of those weeks!

Off for a walk in the Peak District today, hoping it'll help the scales in the right direction on Monday!

B - bran flakes and Yoghurt
L - something like beans on toast at the cafe on the walk
D - tuna fish cakes, rice, roasted peppers.

I started last Monday. Weighed myself this morning and it's registering a 1/4 lb loss. If this is true I'm going to need talking down so I decided to join this thread Grin

Welcome Sazreed, you've done the right thing by getting back on plan. 15 years ago I lost a lot of weight with SW but drifted away from the plan and gradually gained it all back plus extra. Last February I decided to start again but the weight losses have been slower this time. I really wish I'd done what you've done.

Lemony, hope that WW helps. Sometimes our bodies just need a change in routine. Let us know how you get on.

DS2 went back to uni yesterday and the house seems very quiet. Going to use the peace to plan next week's meals and then do some gardening in the sunshine.

Enjoy your walk, Testarosa, I love the countryside at this time of year.

Well done to you losers this week,if you're still trying like i am - stay strong and keep going, you can do this!

Last 3 days i've been really busy and didn't realise until tea that i haven't eaten! I gave up alcohol a little while back (Not for good, just for a break and to help with my weight loss) and i think it affected my appetite and sleep levels more than i previously realised.

I've more energy and am sleeping really well. I decided to use up my excess energy and last night and the night before i put my headphones on with music blasting and went for an hour long brisk walk each night. I'm going to try and carry on with that as it made so much difference to my mood!

My meals in the evening have been SW ones, and i've had fruit and fat free yogurt for dessert and am actually feeling satiated after it. I've got 4 kids and one of those is a 10 month old baby so i'm getting to bed early ish which is helping keep those evenings free of picking and snacking in front of the tv.

If i don't do well at weigh in on Tues this week i'll eat my hat!!! Grin

Well I’ve ordered the online shop to be delivered later today and stocked up on all the on plan stuff I need. I’m out for dinner later and having a couple of glasses of wine. So I’ll be all ready for a re start in the morning. Thanks for the lovely comments and encouragement x
