Having a couple of days off plan now as it's my birthday and we are going away to a nice hotel, baby free for the night! So will be happy to STS next week Blush

💐 for you Blondes.

I think there must be winter bugs having a last hurrah, Starlapriest. I woke up with conjunctivitis on Saturday and I've had a sore throat and earache for the last couple of days. I've made homemade soup too. Hope you feel better soon.

Happy birthday, Pinkunicorn. 🎂

We were at my in laws last night for tea (a regular wed family event!) She's made everyone pizza, but bless her, she did me a jacket potato and tuna salad Grin

I feel like I'm having a really good week so far, hoping the scales go down to that magical target number next week!

B - overnight shredded wheat, yoghurt and berries
L - couscous, salad, eggs.
D - spag bol with added speed.

boats16 · 19/04/2018 12:25

I don't think I'll have a good weigh in tomorrow. I went fishing all day yesterday and was starving when I got back so I had a full mushroom pizza😦 but it was sooooo good 👿

Oldowl · 19/04/2018 12:40

STS this week which is great as trying to maintain.

Blonds, tinned toms, stock, curry powder and a spoonful of chilli powder or paprika makes a great curry. I made a sweet potato, butternut squash and chickpea curry (with loads of spinach added at the end) when my daughter's friend- a gluten free vegetarian- came for tea.

Half a tin of reduced fat coconut milk, chicken stick, 3 spoonfuls of curry powder and chopped ginger makes a great thai curry base.

boats16 · 19/04/2018 13:27

mayathebee · 19/04/2018 18:20

I'm feeling a bit disheartened. I weight myself every morning - I know I shouldn't but it means there's no pressure on any weigh in (if I had a bad weekly weigh in I'd think sod it and eat loads whereas now I'm more interested in the overall trend).

The weight came off for the first couple of weeks, went up and down in week 3 depending on whether I had run or not but seems to be going up steadily this week. I've been on plan, not gone over my syns and I've continued the running. I'm wondering whether it's portion sizes, especially after a run, but I don't eat until I'm stuffed and the thing I liked about SW was the lack of weighing. I've put 2.5lb on and can't convince myself it's just fluid.

I'm hoping it settles once I get used to the exercise and the diet. Has anyone found their weigh ins are a bit up and down?

Groovee · 19/04/2018 20:05

Mine are up and down during a change in routine.

boats16 · 19/04/2018 21:01

Has anyone tried Muller Lights new limited edition yoghurt called 'Desserts inspired' ? Is it syn free ? Hmm

didireallysaythat · 19/04/2018 22:05

So I've just had three weeks off from weigh in (so last weighed 4 weeks ago) - am I deluding myself that 1.5lb on is actually ok ?

I've had on plan breakfasts every day, ok lunches but eaten anything offered for supper, chocolate, alcohol etc (I've been away a lot with no say over my meals).

I'm in this for the long haul so I'm actually quite happy !
