Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.

Look forward to welcoming everyone back and welcome to those embarking on their journey x

MyGuideJools · 24/02/2018 23:37

groovee that food looks lovely! and I may have to indulge in a Malteser bunny!

After last week's disastrous gain I've been really good. Ive had between 6-15 syns a day and had loads of speed.
I better see a loss on Monday!🤞

Flutterby81 · 25/02/2018 08:25

Woke up this morning realising that I haven’t lost a single pound in February and only 2in January Blush
Really need to get myself into gear I have a great week then seem to lose the plot I really want to lose as much as possible before my holiday in July so that gives me four full months to get myself sorted. Think I was doing better at class rather than at home but change of work hours means it’s impossible to attend a class regularly.

Does anyone here do any kind of exercise alongside the food bit?

calzone · 25/02/2018 08:33

I’m doing Pilates and aquarobics but don’t think they are fat burning miracles.

I reckon something is better than nothing.

Groovee · 25/02/2018 08:36

I do Burlesque chair dance and walking. Doesn't lose weight but tones me nicely.

I follow some exercises from you tube concentrating on inner and outer thighs . Thats good cos you can do it when you want. ,and I started swimming last week. I really enjoyed that. The pool was warm. I also need to lose before my holiday in June !!!!!!

twizzr · 25/02/2018 10:25

I burn 300calories in 30mins on a treadmill 6.6kph at a 3* gradient then, go around all the machines in the gym twice.15reps on each.
Not lost a 1lb since the 17 Feb. :-(

twizzr · 25/02/2018 10:25

300calories every day

Mollie85 · 25/02/2018 12:11

Started swimming last week - makes me feel quite relaxed. Am lucky that I can go early as i start work at 7 and finish at three thirty :)

Put on two pounds last week so at the very least I’d like to take those off- would love to have lost three though. Grin

Good luck to all of tomorrow’s weighers

boats16 · 25/02/2018 13:03

Good luck to everyone weighing tomorrow. Is it only me that has a weigh in on Fri ? Can anyone tell me whether Covent Garden Soup (300g) can be taken as a HEB if you so desire. I was looking for a soup for dinners seeing as my homemade efforts were such a disaster !!! Smile

Groovee · 25/02/2018 13:25

Buckwheat and Bean 300g
Skinny chicken and chickpea 300g
Vegetable 300g
Skinny peri peri 300g
Slow roast tomato 300g
Carrot and coriander 300g

They are the HEB choice.

I weigh in on a Tuesday x

Aw , thanks groovee I have just bought chicken and veg , 🤔 never mind I can swap.

Flutterby81 · 25/02/2018 14:11

Thanks for your reply’s everyone looking to add some exercise in was doing Davina 5week dvd got to week 3 missed couple days and haven’t done it again I must restart that tomorow considering joining the gym again and definetly want to start swinming once a week it’s juat so cold at the minute Hmm my thinking is if I start exercising it may keep me on track foodwose as won’t want to waste time exercising only to eat the calories not sure if it will work but worth a go plus it will get me healthier and fitter instead of getting fatter like I seem to be now lol

boats16 · 25/02/2018 18:36

I know it's cold fluttery but it makes the pool feel really warm 🏊 my exercises aren't long but they are targeting my hips which will look better toned up.I know what you mean about the dvd though it's just sooooo easy not to bother !!!!

Testarossa1 · 25/02/2018 19:34

Weighing in tomorrow! Not expecting much as we've been at my parents this weekend. So we all went out for a Mexican Saturday night and then a full roast dinner today. Though we have done some walking to try and off set it a bit!!

MumInTheCity · 25/02/2018 20:43

I haven't started doing any proper exercise, though I do intend to at some point. I have been walking a lot more though. Went out for dinner today and had grilled sea bass with salad. Had the dressing on the side and only used about a tbsp of it. Stuck to Diet Coke and avoided the cocktails as well even though they were buy one get one free! I'd better see a loss tomorrow!

B - banana
L - SW quiche and salad
D - sea bass and salad
S - 2 hifis (HEB)
There will have been some syns in the salad dressing and possibly the fish as well if they used oil but I haven't had any other syns today so should be ok.

Flutterby81 · 25/02/2018 21:30

Thanks for all your reply’s and good luck to everyone else weighing tomorow Smile

Groovee · 25/02/2018 21:36

Have made soup for lunches, prepped dinner for tomorrow. So everything is on plan while I start my new job.

ALemonyPea · 25/02/2018 21:41

Lost 3lb this week. Consultant also said I’m in the running for biggest loser. Not sure if she meant in group or life in general 😉

Well done everyone on the losses.

I now weigh in on a Friday. Used to be Tuesday, but new job means Tuesdays are no good.

Has anyone tried the Danone light and free vanilla yoghurt? Bought some from Tesco yesterday, it’s delicious.

MumInTheCity · 25/02/2018 22:24

Good luck with the new job tomorrow Groovee

Well done Lemony, I've ordered those yoghurts in my Tesco shop for tomorrow, I'm glad they're nice, I'm looking forward to trying them!

Groovee · 26/02/2018 06:17

Thank you and well done @ALemonyPea.

I want to try the vanilla yoghurts and they've brought out a light and free quark which is free too.
