Ok I'm trying to meal plan for the nest week. So far I'm thinking

Pasta with spicy tomato and prawns and mussels
Chicken and chorizo casserole (this may out my disguise to long time posters on this threadWinkGrin)
Steak and chips with veg
Roast chicken dinner
Chilli rice and salad

What's everyone's favourite meal to eat? I want to mix things up a bit!

holycityzoo · 02/01/2018 19:42

WI for me tonight and another 2lb off. That's 4 consecutive weeks of losses, which I have not had since June last year!! Well chuffed with that.

Just remembered that tomorrow i am leading a conference day at work and I need to take a lunch with me as the venue is most definitely not SW friendly! Oh shucks, I have very little in the house as I havent been food shopping since before Christmas!! I will just have to do my best and fill up before I go and get DD1 to sort a filling dinner for when I get home.
I must get back into planning and thinking ahead again. Christmas has thrown all of that out the window Blush

sunshineintheclouds · 02/01/2018 22:00

Place marking back on it (again) dam sugar addiction is back in full swing Sad bloody Christmas.

RealHousewifeOfLapland · 02/01/2018 22:04

My meal plan is

Sw lasagne with cauliflower sauce not eggs and yoghurt topping 🤢

Cottage pie with broccoli and green beans

Spicy lentils and chick peas with rice

Roast chicken

Spicy chicken rice

caremummy · 02/01/2018 22:24

7.5 lbs off in 2017 with on/off slimming world and a whole load of other probs. 33lbs to lose by august x taking it a lb at a time

allthesnowmen · 02/01/2018 22:28

Hi! I went from a size 16 to an 8 in 2016. I had too many holidays last year and went up to a size 10, not horrendous I know, but I want to book a holiday in July and lose 2 stone before that. That will take me down to a stone less than my original target but I think doable based on what I achieved that year Smile

ibuiltahomeforyou · 02/01/2018 22:31

I made the mayflower curry that I've seen loads of people rave about on here, it was really nice!

susurration · 02/01/2018 22:37

high five @blankiefan! and everyone else planning and batch cooking.

Loving seeing all these meal plans, they are giving me some good ideas. What is the Mayflower Curry like?

My plan for the week Tues-Mon:
Bacon, butternut squash and sweet potato stew (had this tonight, it was really good)
Meatballs (low fat) and pasta in tomato sauce with some cheese for HexA
bean and rice burritos
homemade soup
Beef ChanaSaag
Cheesy pasta gratin
chilli and rice

Petaldrops · 03/01/2018 00:36

Just checking in, been off plan since 22nd Dec. I missed last weeks weigh in but started having some SW friendly meals since 28th Dec with the odd off plan meal and snacks since. Facing the scales tomorrow and I'm expecting at least 4-7lb gain which I totally deserve. Stepping into 2018 a stone lighter than last year so I'm happy with that. Hoping to get to target this year.

Groovee · 03/01/2018 07:42

@holycityzoo it's broccoli rice. I prefer it to normal rice.

Wakened with another sore throat. It comes to nothing but I feel dreadful.

Will keep on plan though x

Happy new year everyone.

My aim was to maintain over December but I totally lost the plot. I'm going to cancel my online membership and join a group tomorrow night and start again.

Good luck everyone.

latedecember1963 · 03/01/2018 09:57

DH has gone to the supermarket with a SW friendly shopping list.
Going to make the hot smoked salmon and new potato salad ( page 51 of the Get Set For Success booklet given out in group yesterday) for lunch tomorrow when MiL comes to visit.

I'm going to send leftover Christmas chocolates, biscuits etc with DS2 to share with his mates when he goes back to uni on Saturday.

ClaudiaD13 · 03/01/2018 10:09

I've got my first weigh-in after Christmas tonight. So worried I've put weight on! I lost 21lb between November and Christmas. Need to lose another 4 stone. I'm climbing a mountain for charity this summer so really need the weight off!

Petaldrops · 03/01/2018 10:28

up 7 1/2lbs back on plan and ready to work towards my target

Groovee · 03/01/2018 12:10

My weigh in is at 3! I'm all confused as it's usually at 5.30 on a Tuesday. Aim to walk there and back.

I’m not very well at the moment so feel a bit down in the dumps.

Usually I would absolutely gorge on crisps and greasy food to cheer myself up, but I’m trying to stay focused on my aim.

Thing is - I’m not actually hungry & I 100% know that I’m not but for some reason can’t switch off the desire for a pick me up (though I am trying to ignore it)

I’m stuck at work in a boring job (though I’m trying to keep busy) but how do other people ignore these cravings? Do you ignore them altogether, use your syns to have something that satisfies the need or are there other things people do to combat? It’s an emotion related thing - I know I don’t need the food!

theotherendofthesockportal · 03/01/2018 15:32

Please can you share your easiest to cook SW meals? DD is only 11 weeks old so I need simple and quick recipes. Thank you :)
