New thread to see in 2018. Everyone welcome.
Having lost 4st in 2017... I'm looking at target by Valentine's Day if possible.
Look forward to welcoming everyone back and welcome to those embarking on their journey x

Hi everyone, I started again (from home) on Tuesday. I joined time last year and lost just over a stone but then got complacent and started to eat cake / chocolate / cheese / biscuits and unsuprisngly have put 12lb of it back on. My actual meals today have been ok (B - overnight oats, L - scrambled egg with gravlax, T - salmon with veg) but I'm still struggling with all the extra bits. Today's additional bits are a lovely day slice of homemade banana cake, half a toasted buttered tea cake, 2 squares of dark chocolate and 2 breadsticks. Tomorrow is another day...
My starting stats are as follows:
Height 5'7"
Current weight 12st12lb
Target weight 11st

Hi all. December was an absolute disaster for weight loss between a holiday, Christmas and a massive relapse in my eating disorder recovery. I went back to class last night and I've gained 12lbs since the end of November, which means it's utterly impossible that I'll be at target for my holiday in March I was well on my way towards that goal but never mind - it is what it is.
Back up to 13st 1.5. Today is day one again.

@bingandflop i'm doing it online only. I get too anxious trying to go to group things. My husband is happy to eat whatever I cook for slimming world and also stick to Syns. Lucky bugger loses the weight faster than me though!
@amusedbush please don't be disheartened. You have two months before your holiday, you don't know what might happen in that time.
I'm struggling a bit today. At work someone wafted a tin of Roses under my nose and I nearly caved in. I resisted, but my husband is off out tonight and normally I would treat myself to something like McDonalds or a pizza. Its a bit of a danger zone for me so hoping I stay strong and stay on plan.

I've had a terrible day today - I made SW eggs benedict for breakfast and leek and potato soup for lunch, but then ate crisps, cheese and crackers and two bread rolls. Then some of DD's humous sandwich for tea and a bit of yoghurt, her leftovers etc etc.
I'm really tired so it affects my appetite.
I'm 9.5lbs from target at the moment and it's hard to stay on plan in some ways because I'm so close to getting there. That is totally nonsensical isn't it?!
mommytoboo86 · 05/01/2018 19:33
hi im new to the thread but not slimming world...
first joined in 2016 but after a major life event I put back on the 2 stone that I'd lost so rejoining a group on Monday.
I've got 5 sizes to lose...
I don't know how it equates to weight but I'd like to be a size 12/14 so that is my overall target rather than a weight target as for me I'm not losing weight for my health but my self esteem, mental health etc
x

I built a house - I recognise that feeling - so nearly there but not quite and self sabotage. I have 10 lbs to go to Target. I've come into the new year recharged after a month or so of losing and gaining the same few lbs. Feeling committed atm and keep reminding myself that I've already lost 2st and kept it off for a year, so lots of room for positivity 👍🏻

Hi everyone
Has amyone tried the Diet Coke chicken recipe? Is it ok ?
- ve start to the new year for me as I managed a loss over xmas couple of weeks to bring total loss to 18lb . Got long way to go though!
Hope everyone having a good start to the new year .its a good time to remotivsate I think

I have you tried cooking chicken in diet orange tango instead of diet coke as I have been told it really tastes like sweet and sour chicken?
I am making a courgette lasagna tonight as Tom Kerridge made one on his programme on Wednesday but I will use frylight rather than olive oil and blended cottage cheese instead of ricotta.
