B - raspberries, strawberries and a banana

L - Packet pasta (cooked with milk as my HEA) and ham.

D - Wholemeal toast (HEB), with butter (2 syns), baked beans. 0% fat yogurt and handful blueberries for dessert.

Feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson after boxercise yesterday and a run this morning, my abs are on fire from boxercise, used muscles I haven't in years! Hopefully a warm bath will sort me out Grin

Can i join? I have lots to lose ( 6 stone 10 lbs) and i am weighing in at 17.5.5 :-(

I did get some off last year - and was in the 16's down from my heaviest of 18.5 but i would love to be smaller towards the end of this year - even a couple to three stone will make such a difference.

DS is 2.8 now and i literally must be the only person who has put ON weight since having a lo.

Anyway i have read back a bit and you all seem to be doing so well - i love that you keep a diary on here and support each other too.

I have done ok today i think.

Breakfast on the go: 2 peaches, 1 apple,
Lunch, pasta n sauce, salad
Dinner: bombay potatoes, half a sw frozen iceland chicken curry, salad, rice,
snacks, mature cheddar 30g hex a, 2 packs of hula hoops puffs and a mini crunchie ice cream ( 13 syns in total today including the bombay potato mix )

It was all yummy and i have batch cooked loads today as thats my big downfall. I get really hungry ( am diabetic and take insulin ) and have to keep my sugar levels from dropping too low - i always used to not be able to time it properly and ended up picking because i was so hungry whilst waiting for things to cook or ended up having a hypo from waiting too long and having to adjust things with sugar which i really want to avoid if i can.

I have cooked Beef stifado ( sw style without any olive oil) greek slovaki which i will have with pitta and houmous, rice, and bombay potato which i will have with my frozen sw curries from iceland. I feel well and truly prepared this time and if i can just get through one week it will become second nature i am sure :-)

Good luck everyone - hope you have all had a good day today - EM i am sorry you had to go to a funeral, its always a bit rubbish and that'd probably be enough to send me running for the ice cream!

Oh fuck.

Had a really good day. Fruit for breakfast. Was really tired and hungry at lunch and really wanted to inhale ds ham sandwich but stayed strong and had a tuna salad.

Then half a bottle of wine turned into all the bottle and instead of the lovely thai curry I was making we had a thai takeaway..

Sigh.

And its weigh in day tomorrow.

Very back on it tomorrow.

Bim, I was hungry all day yesterday, but I keep telling myself "Wait until Friday" (weigh in day) - doesnt stop me standing forlornly in front of the fridge tho!

I had developed a liking for fish sticks as a snack when Im in need of grazing materials. I think you need a back up plan of something you will like to eat but are syn free for those munchy days. I also have tins of sardines, loads of fruit etc as my "go to" snacks.

Dont beat yourself up. Draw a line, plan your week etc.

Any advise for a Bobby on the beat? My other half is doing slimming world with me and rarely gets a chance to have a proper lunch break being a police officer. Any ideas what he can have on the go that will survive in his bag/hot car if it comes down to it. He's got an awful habit of grabbing haribo or grabbing a chocolate bar for the sugar rush. Any suggestions?

alpen light bars for sweet snacking (2.5 syns a piece or 2 for Hex B)

If you make sandwiches, you can buy the system little cooler bags that you pop in the freezer - DS does sport all evening and he takes food to school with him with a cooler baggie to keep everything a bit fresher in the heat.

Pasta salad - pasta, cucumber, apple, tomato, celery, and maybe some babybel light cheeses added afterwards - so they stay in their way shells until ready to eat. (hex A).

Falafel and pitta bread would be good. Cold veggie sausages could work too....

Ooh I didn't know falafel was so low in syns!
Quick Q- on searching it says cauldron falafel 8 pack is 2 syns but then in brackets it says 25g each.... So is that 2 syns per falafel or 2 syns per pack??! Appreciate advice as I was finding salad getting a bit dull and would love to chuck some falafel in!! Thanks

Hello all

Was weigh in day and thanks to yesterday's excess I only lost 2lb. Still. I think some of it will be water retention which should come off quick enough.

So 2lb this week. 4lb last gives me 6lb in total for 2 weeks. And I have had lots of wine, 2 treat nights, a couple of slack days, some ice cream induced by hot weather etc etc. So not too bad I suppose.

Today

B. Weetabix. I don't normally but I was hanging

L. An apple

D. Homemadw chicken and veg curry. All free or superfree with some boiled rice. Might have a bit of the tikka starter I bought for the rest of them if I stay off the wine tonight lol.

apple there is a syn free SW recipe online. Quick and easy to make - But I would add a LOT more spice to it, as they were quite bland. I read a recipe recently using Harissa, and I would like to try those!

B: Toast x 2 (hexB) with scrambled eggs, fruit.
L: Salad (cucumber, lettuce, tomato, fish sticks, mayo, apple) - mayo was lighter than light so 1 syn.
D: Lasagne made with Calzones' cauliflower sauce, plus a babybel light cheese (2 syns), plus salad. Mullerlight.

HexA in tea all day.

Well dine calzone and em. Same loss as me iver 2 weeks em. Do you feel any slimmer yet? I do and wore a pair of jeans I haven't worn for ages today.

Not had a bad day.

B. Just coffee

L. Dp had a subway so I had one of their salad bowls ans it was lovely.

T. Went to pub. Had a chicken breast with bbq sauce and cheese and bacon. With boiled potatoes and peas. Know its not ideal but the cheese can be my a choice and need to syn the bbq sauce.

Just had a small glass of wine and going to have a peach in a bit.

Weekend will be tricky though. Its treat night tomorrow. Normally I would sack it off but dd hasn't been here for the last few Fridays and is already talking about what she will have. Then Saturday its dd bday party and we are having tapas.

Determined to enjoy what I have there but not go overboard. So no pudding and no other syns on Saturday.

Keep telling myself that any diet has to fit in with life too. Will have 3 days before weigh in to try and do a bit of damage limitation.
