New day with sunshine!

Have a great day.....am going to eat less but stuff myself with melon!

OP posts:
bimandbam · 03/07/2015 21:32

B. Piece of melon

L. An apple

D. Vegatable thali from the indian with a few spoonfuls of boiled rice and a popadom. Oh and an onion bhaji and a bit of the pickle tray.

Syns were ( apart from the curry) 1/2 bottle of wine and a handful of kids quavers.

Know I would have been over but its treat night. In the past I would have had a chicken bhuna, bottle of wine, pilau instead of boiled rice and half a nan. Plus something like a sarnie and bag of crisps for lunch.

So I feel treated but healthy at the same time. The veg curry was lovely too. Not high protein but I am carb heavy tonight anyway because of the beer and stuff but will be going to bed shortly so won't get hungry overnight.

Am glad dp snoring on the sofa though. Veg curry is very windy Shock

bimandbam · 03/07/2015 21:33

Meant to add a can of carling in that too.

calzone · 04/07/2015 00:23

Those who are hungry.....eat more!
You can eat loads on this plan and not gain weight.

B.....delicious filled omelette with free vegetables and 2 Light cheese triangles
Sn.....banana
L....punnet strawberries
D....went out and had Superfood Salad with chicken SmileSmile
Coffee

B:Poached eggs on toast heb
L:on the run so - just apples/melon/clementines
D:prawn salad with new potatoes, mayo (1)

Burts lentil weaves (5)
Chocolate buttons (9)

However, have saved myself some damage tonight - my daughter needs collecting from a party, so I have to drive. I'm almost pleased. Almost.

hstar1995 · 04/07/2015 10:14

Today - banana and strawberries for breakfast.

lunch - batchelors pasta n sauce (using the milk as my HEA)

tea - slimming world chicken tikka ready meal and rice. A Hifi bar (HEB). May also have some pimms, 1.5 per drink, will have 3 so 4.5 syns total Grin

bimandbam · 04/07/2015 10:29

Is pimms really only 1.5 hstar? Is that made with diet lemonade? What measure of pimms do you get?

GirlsonFilm · 04/07/2015 13:16

Today's the school fare so I have to watch the 4th July bbq and cream teas (not bothered about the bbq but cream tea Sad).

So today's food:

B Melon
L Bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and sausage (5syns) all grilled and dry fried egg.
D Steak salad and red wine (all remaining syns and them some!)
Hex milk for coffee

hstar1995 · 04/07/2015 16:46

Hi bimandbam , the special edition strawberry pimms (on offer in Tesco atm) is 1.5 syns per 25ml so a decent measure Grin lemomade is free I think as long as it's the diet/no sugar stuff so a great summer drink and not too heavy on the syns Grin

hstar1995 · 04/07/2015 16:49

From looking online its around 12 pounds on offer until the 12th July Wink Wine

FannyFanakapan · 04/07/2015 19:41

oh dear, it appears I have fallen off plan today...

B: On plan! apple, bacon, egg, tomato, mushrooms 1 hex B bread, beans.
L: On plan! Fajiita salad. 1 Bread (hex B) and 1.5 babybel light cheese (1/2 hex A)
and then it all went wrong!
2 custard creams (5), 1 Mr WHippy ice cream (6s) with flake (4s)

D: 2 ribs (7 s) , chicken, new potatoes, sweetcorn butter (2s), 2 glasses of wine (12s)

So I guess around 40 syns today - tsk. BUt I did enjoy my ice cream!

bimandbam · 04/07/2015 19:58

Thank you hstar. I love pimms but assumed it would be worse than the wine I usually drink. Will pick a bottle up when I go shopping.

Alcohol is my biggest downfall. Sigh. Food I can do without but I definitely miss a drink or two when I am dieting.

calzone · 04/07/2015 20:31

L....bacon, spinach and egg on Kingsmill thin

Sn.....fruit pot

hstar1995 · 04/07/2015 21:28

I know bimandbam, that's my downfall too. I was so shocked to find that a pint of strongbow is 9.5 syns, I could have a crunchie for that, or a tube of smarties Shock they've done ready meals and sauces, they need to do syn free alcohol!

Rachie1986 · 04/07/2015 22:11

I've just done day 1. Can I join?

b: 2 eggs fried in frylight, baked beans, lots of grilled tomatoes.

l: burger (6.5syns), wholemeal roll hex b, chicken and veg kebab, corn on the cob, salad,

d: pasta salad with lots of pepper, celery, cucumber, and fat free salad dressing.
quark with options mixed up and strawberrys 2syn

banana with ice Lilly Muller light coca powder mixture 1syn.

My problem is I don't ever feel full on fruit and veg, however much I eat :-/. plus a sensitive stomach so that's interesting!

FannyFanakapan · 05/07/2015 08:36

may I draw a fragile line under yesterday - I fear I did not stop at 2 glasses of wine, and the extra wine lead to 5 squares of chocolate and three licorice sticks. Sigh.
Line > -------- Grin

Onwards and downwards today. I find the weekends very difficult.

GirlsonFilm · 05/07/2015 11:07

Fanny I have the same problem with weekends. ...the siren call of wine and chocolate always seems worse on a weekend. I'm trying to combat it by cooking a roast chicken with loads of veg and a veg quiche...hopefully that'll reduce the urge for chocolate.
The DCs are currently tidying up their toys and identifying toys for the school jumble sale....however their 'out' pile is much much smaller than mine would be.

GirlsonFilm · 05/07/2015 12:13

Food diary for today:
B Scrambled Eggs, grilled tomatoes, peach (all free). 1/2 slice toast (hexb) spread (1.5 syns)
L veg omelette (all free), melon,
D Roast chicken, veg, sw roast potatoes (all free), Yorkshire pudding (6syns), gravey (2 syns), peaches and strawberries.
Hexa milk for coffee

bimandbam · 05/07/2015 13:10

Fanny weekends are hard for me too. In the week when it is just me and ds its easy then I prep tea and if anyone doesn't want fat club tea they make their own.

Didn't have breakfast today. Just had a peach, a plum and an apple for lunch then having roast chicken, new potatoes and salad for tea.

Still trying to avoid bread and carbs I feel a lot slimmer and less bloated for it. Means I have to either plan carefully or have fruit and salad for lunchtimes. Am going to asda tomorrow as they used to do pre chopped soup veg all prepared. If there is any chicken left over after tea tonight I will chuck some in then I have lunch ready for a couple of days.

I have huge norks of iron this afternoon. Gave ds (18 months) his last bf in Tuesday. I will lose a stone when they go down lol. Anyone know how much a H cup weighs? Cos I have got 2 and hoping that they drop down to an F cup at least.

emwithme · 05/07/2015 13:44

I am going to struggle over the next 36 hours or so.

I've just had my brekkie (mushrooms, omelette, beans, tomatoes, HEB toast, 2 syns butter) and now I'm heading off back home (cue ominous music) for a funeral tomorrow morning.

I'm staying in a hotel (sssh I've told my family I'm staying with friends and friends I'm staying with family but I really can't be doing with staying with anyone - one set has old people who will TALK AT ME FOR HOURS and the other has young children who will TALK AT ME FOR HOURS - a visit is nice, staying is less so) so it's hotel brekkie tomorrow. Ho hum.

I'm taking a "packed lunch" (tuna steak, salad) in a cool bag so that'll do me this evening, so I should be OK.

hstar1995 · 05/07/2015 17:44

Breakfast today was chopped strawberries, bananas and raspberries with fat free yogurt (yum).

Lunch was 2 slices wholemeal toast (HEXB) with butter (3 syns), eggs fried in fry light and ketchup (1 syn)

Tea was roast pork, cabbage, fry lighted roasties and carrots (free) with 2 Yorkshire puddings (5 syns) and gravy (3 syns).

So 12 syns in total, ate 20 yesterday Blush so am going for a run in a bit and will be extra good this weekWink

hstar1995 · 05/07/2015 17:45

Sorry for your loss, emwithme , have Thanks , Wine and more Thanks

FannyFanakapan · 05/07/2015 19:27

B: boiled eggs, toast (hexB)
L: Fajita salad with 1 babybel light, fruit
D: Morrocan tagine (4 syns) with rice.

Remaining Hex A in tea.

PlayingHouse · 05/07/2015 19:48

I just a massive portion of SW pasta bake and now feel so full and bloated that I cannot image I will lose on Tuesday.

It was all syn free and full of speed food - apart from the mozzarella which I'm counting as my HexA. Feels as if I've eaten something really unhealthy though and now I'm worried.

B - an apple and strawberries.
L- frylight egg on toast. Cherry tom.
D - SW pasta bake. Salad

Syns, 2 scoops of Aldi Lemon sorbet 3.5 Brown sauce 1 Flora 0.5 = 5

PlayingHouse · 05/07/2015 19:49

Fanny - could you share your morrocon tagine recipe please Smile Thanks
