Weigh in tonight. Mot had a fantastic fortnight since last weigh in but oh well.

Started doing exercise yesterday and will try to do 15 minutes every morning if possible. Just need to be stricter with my syns. It's not the main meals that are an issue, it's snacking

fannyfanakapan · 19/02/2015 08:54

well done Calzone! 2lbs is great!

Cookie, I think some weeks are like that! Pick yourself up, dust yourself down, start again.

I had a bad day yesterday, took DD to see a university and there was NOTHING to eat but sarnies and similar, so skipped lunch, had some fruit at 4, got stuck in God awful traffic coming home, and then didnt get to dinner until gone 8pm, by which time I was not in the mood for cooking something different for me, so ate hunter chicken with kids.

And I had 2 small glasses of wine after a shit day.

So about 20 syns just hoovered up with bad choices. I usually hate ready meals, but I think I may try some of the SW frozen meals from Iceland so I can have something in the freezer for days like this.

annielostit · 19/02/2015 11:18

Its not hard to hoover up syns is it and unfriendly snacking is a killer.
I'm going to Iceland later for some sausages, worth a try. I miss a real one as one = a wine.
Might try a tikka masala meal too. They had an open evening at one local store cancelled last night as they'd run out of products. We'll see what they've got.
Does anyone think that they eat too much 'free' food. Mine yesterday was,
2 eggs on 1 nimble
Fruit & yogurt
Beef stew & 1 nimble
Chilli & rice & salad
Fruit & yogurt
1 ryvita & cheese triangle.
Am I missing something.

calzone · 19/02/2015 11:55

Our leader said to eat as much as you like of free foods. Smile
So I will.

Just eaten

Baked beans
2 LM sausages
2 poached eggs
2 hash browns (3 syns)

17lbs off since beginning of January. SmileSmileSmile

Had a big fruity day today, trying to get in the speed.
Had a bag of frozen berries and a chopped apple today for snacks with no fat yogurt. Plus stew & spag bol, lots of speed included. No biscuits today and 3 syns on ryvitas. Quite pleased with myself.

CookieMonster101 · 19/02/2015 22:48

Didn't go last week but lost the three pounds I had gained the week before. So overall I've lost 4.5 lbs in four weeks which is slow but I know why. Quite happy the pounds I had gained are gone again.

Has anyone tried the ready meals? We had a bit of a taster today and I have to say they were ok.

Cafe rouge tomorrow with a friend. Any advice on what I can eat?

Imscarlet · 20/02/2015 08:30

Wow Calzone! You are doing really well! I'm down 9lbs since the beginning of January. I still feel progress is slow but if I'm down another 10lbs by the end of April I'll be most pleased!

fannyfanakapan · 20/02/2015 16:05

well I went along expecting a gain, or at best, maintaining, after a week of poorly planned meals and several lapses.

And I had lost 2lbs! Grin

got my stone and a half award too - since jan, so really chuffed.

silky80 · 20/02/2015 22:06

Everyone is doing so well.

I on the other hand have had rubbish choices (forced)on me by the external world. 3 day long day trips at fast fried food places (work) followed by 13 hr work days when every meal has been missed.

On the other hand I have realised I have been spending approx £4/5 on fruit each day for breakfast (shopping after kiddy drop on way to work). Found frozen fruit bags cheaper at big brand stores ie 90p fruit salad and 1.80 Forrest fruits.

Water challenge still loving but long days have struggled simply for avoiding as travelling and no 'release' system close to hand. I really recommend it though

hstar1995 · 21/02/2015 15:07

Hi everyone. I joined SW about 6 weeks ago weighing 15st 3lbs. I weighed in last night at 14st 4lbs. The last week or two I have gone slightly off piste and not lost as much as I would have liked. But I've re discovered my determination and will get that stone award next week!
