There are lots of SW posts which I love reading but was finding it difficult to remember where to post my weigh in and menus for the day.

Hope no one minds me doing this......Smile

I am Calzone and I am 5ft 6'. I joined SW last week and weighed in at 14st 3lbs.
I am doing Dry January and think I have been pretty good this week with my food choices.....

Food today
B......fruit/tea with sk milk
L...2 bread, beans, 2 eggs
D....DH is doing Lebanese and promises it is SW friendly.Smile

So, if you want to do the same.....post and share, otherwise this will be my SW experience.SmileSmile

Ah, I thought that because you were allowed a couple of slices of bread, that I'd be allowed a roll instead. Hopefully I've just got in with my syn allowance.

I think me and dh are going to join sw between us so we know the rules!

annielostit · 20/05/2015 21:48

Sunshine, you get 60g of wholemeal bread, its 2 small slices or a small roll. Healthy extra b.
Was your soup homemade. If not you'd have to count that .

L- beef stew and other hex b

AtAt · 21/05/2015 22:21

I've just joined SW, and just wondered if anyone had some good suggestions for breakfast ideas I can get on the way into the office? I was thinking of taking a bowl in, and having yogurt over a couple of weetabixs, but does anyone have any more exciting ideas?

I also tried to start my own thread here, and it says I'm not allowed to post? Do I need to request something to be able to post here? Tia

SheHasAWildHeart · 21/05/2015 22:23

Well dinner didn't go to plan! Was tired and the sight of the local chippy was too much so j bought a small fish & chips. Probably about 30 syns! So have done a 20 min workout to compensate for it!

FannyFanakapan · 21/05/2015 22:45

Evening all!

B. Sultana bran, hex b, yoghurt,banana blueberries
L. SW fry up - potatoes, bacon, eggs, beans
D. Gammon, new potato's, asparagus, cauliflower cheese (syns?) Pea pods.

Milk In tea hex a
Sn. Apple, satsuma

LaurieFairyCake · 21/05/2015 22:50

B - nectarine, banana
L - baked potato, beans, tomatoes, Aldi cheese curls
Afternoon snack - banana, 2 satsumas
D - baked potato, SW Chilli, tomatoes

Evening snack - 3 rich tea diet
Syns - 8

ATandT - think about taking a truck load of fruit/tomatoes/carrots, maybe 2 wholemeal nimble 'buttered' with marmite or quark with eggs in or Babybel light

The Nimble can be healthy extra B, the Babybel lights (3) can be healthy extra A

I don't eat cereals so I can't advise you on that but if I have to go somewhere I'm taking Muller lights, bananas and fruit everywhere

FannyFanakapan · 22/05/2015 11:47

my binge weekend caught up with me this week, despite virtuous behaviour monday to friday, I gained 1.5lb.

I am hormonal though, so no wine for me this weekend, and back on the path or righteousness.... Grin

TipsyandT0m · 22/05/2015 12:15

Sorry to hear that Fanny. It is probably more hormonal though, especially if you were good most of the time.
I have a bbq tomorrow and Eurovision party. I also know that despite whatever best intentions I start with, they will go out the window. So, I am just going to enjoy myself. Hopefully if I am good every other day this week I won't do too much damageConfused

Normanisanisland · 22/05/2015 13:31

Hi, can I join this thread - On my second month at SW and losses have slowed down so I think I need to write down my food diary!

Yesterday -

B - Mullerlight and tangerine
L -veggie crustless quiche with loads of salad
D - SW Leek Macaroni cheese with salad

1/2 Skinny Mocha in Starbucks 3 syns

I didn't use my Healthy B - Is it OK to skip this? I normally have a SW rocky road bar but I was too tired last night?

FannyFanakapan · 22/05/2015 13:36

tipsy, i am heading into the menopause too, so hormones are a bit hit and miss!

TipsyandT0m · 22/05/2015 16:47

Do you monitor your measurements Fanny? I think I may do this, as I know my weight can fluctuate by a few pounds on the same day. May help with keeping optimistic when I have a weigh in that shows a gain or a maintain.

Hi Norman, I don't think you have to use your hex a or b, if you don't wish to. My consultant does recommend we have our hex to make sure we get our calcium.

SheHasAWildHeart · 22/05/2015 20:14

B: overnights oats and apple
L: Fish fillet meal and coke from McDonalds (too many syns!)
D: roasted veg and eggs
Snacks: Mullerlight. Rocket and cherry tomatoes. Grapes.

Gonna be a good girl tomorrow!

annielostit · 23/05/2015 07:45

Completely challenged this week, while at a funeral another family member dies, I get home to a call that a third ones died.
What a day!!!
B- sw fry up with sausage , syns 10.
L- nothing
D- chicken in parma ham vegetables & sw chips. 2 wines & a bud light. Syns 12?
What a day!!

AtAt · 23/05/2015 08:10

Annie sorry to hear that sad newsThanks

FannyFanakapan · 23/05/2015 21:43

I'm struggling to know how to syn my day -

I had bacon eggs toast and tomatoes for breakfast (free)

Lunch - soup 1.5 syns plus lean ham slices and cucumber

Dinner: went out - had italian meatballs x 3, in a tomato sauce but there was some oil in the sauce. Plus a slice of bread (6 syns) Main: had linguine with roasted mediterranean veg and a slice of goats cheese. But there was loads of oil in that too (but it was delish) - if I count 2 tbs of olive oil across the two dishes I think at 12 syns. Cheese was as hex A.

Also 2 syns for milk in tea.

so thats at least 20-25 syns today. Same yesterday.

But you know whats impressive? NO WINE! And lots of water!

LaurieFairyCake · 24/05/2015 02:08

Right , I'm out for the weekend

Just putting down my Syns

1.5 pints ale 10
1 large glass wine - 6

Dinner - venison in a rich sauce with green beans, ate one mouthful of what looked like fried potato - 20 Syns?

Rest of day just yoghurt and fruit.

So 36 Syns Ish I think.

annielostit · 24/05/2015 13:40

Thank you AtAt,

Nice eating out food going on there. I'll have both choices.

FannyFanakapan · 24/05/2015 16:33

B: 2 toast with marmite and tomato
L: Tuna salad with lighter than light mayo (1 syn) celery, apple, lettuce, toms, sweetcorn, cucumber. Mullerlight.

Drinking "flat tummy water" all afternoon, as trying to cut down on caffeine.
