There are lots of SW posts which I love reading but was finding it difficult to remember where to post my weigh in and menus for the day.

Hope no one minds me doing this......Smile

I am Calzone and I am 5ft 6'. I joined SW last week and weighed in at 14st 3lbs.
I am doing Dry January and think I have been pretty good this week with my food choices.....

Food today
B......fruit/tea with sk milk
L...2 bread, beans, 2 eggs
D....DH is doing Lebanese and promises it is SW friendly.Smile

So, if you want to do the same.....post and share, otherwise this will be my SW experience.SmileSmile

Couldn't resist been trying to resist those mini sausage rolls since Monday
Feel gutted and depressed now

saradavies415 · 13/05/2015 16:58
Sad
FannyFanakapan · 13/05/2015 18:41

all is not lost

Mini sausage roll: 2.5 syns
Smarties: Id count about 4
So 9 syns....still within limit.

FannyFanakapan · 13/05/2015 18:42

officially, a snack size box of smarties is 3.5 syns. so 7 or 8 smarties could be less than that!

Even if you go over today, you may be under tomorrow, so it all evens out

Thanks maybe tomorrow will be a better day as don't have to wait around house all day.
Just wondering what time does everyone have dinner im not sure if im eating to late or to early.
Also I get a bit hungry around 9 or 10 when I have sat down and put my feet up for the night I try to get to bed by 11 so I don't pick at anything and befor I use to tuck in to a pack of peanut m&ms am addicted to them does anyone snack anything around this time if so what and if not what time to stop for the day

FannyFanakapan · 14/05/2015 08:49

well done calzone! Another 2lbs and that's your 2 st! Fantastic! (I think saying weight loss in lbs rather than stone makes it sound so much more impressive....!!)

Sara, I stop eating around 7pm, after dinner. I always try to have a big filling dinner, and finish with a sweet something - usually a mullerlight. If Im full, im less likely to snack. Also, if im full of NICE tasty food Im less likely to snack. I snack when I feel unfulfilled foodwise. If ive had something really tasty, I dont feel deprived.

That said, I do feel the need to snack on occasions (last night) so had one of those muller goodies - 2.5 syns and you feel like its something a bit indulgent.

I'll also have a cuppa, and maybe an apple or a couple of satsumas. On really bad days, I'll have a alpen light bar, (2.5 syns). I'm currently sewing by hand, so that keeps my mind away from the kit kats in the cupboard....

There are days when I send myself to bed early, because the temptation to snack is so great...

LaurieFairyCake · 14/05/2015 10:56

I save my healthy extra A for evening.

3 Rakusens cracker (1 point each)
Marmite free
3 Mini Babybel Lights sliced with tomatoes

So 3 points for cheese and biscuits Smile

At weekends I add wine and don't feel remotely deprived.

SheHasAWildHeart · 14/05/2015 11:31

Today
B: FryLight eggs, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and asparagus
L: Couscous salad with tinned sardines, followed by fruit in ff yoghurt
D: Spaghetti with asparagus and tenderstem broccoli from SW magazine with cheese (HE A)
Snacks: 2 x Aldi benefit bars (HE B)
Syns: Be Light Crisps (6.5 syns)

I was going to wait before weighing myself but I've been so good all week that I want to know now so hopefully it can give me renewed motivation, maybe today or tomorrow!

SheHasAWildHeart · 14/05/2015 11:35

Oh - I noticed that Asda are doing a Muller Light deal at the moment 6 single pots for £3 or the 2x 6pack for £5.

I was soooo bad today :(

Breakfast : eggs and slice kingsmill 50/50 4.5syns
Lunch : cheese sandwich and fruit hex and 9 syns
Dinner : SW beef ready meal (NOT recommended!) and 6 chocolate biscuits... And 2 jammy dodgers.

3 cups coffee with 1 tsp sugar in each (3 syns)

Haven't even counted syns in biscuits.

I know why too- I'm exhausted and craving the easy route and sugar high. We had builders in so I couldn't nap when baby did. She's still awake and I'm dying to go to bed. DP not home from work for another hour!

TipsyandT0m · 14/05/2015 22:00

First post on this thread. I can't promise to update my food daily but I do read the thread every day. Third weigh in tonight. After 1Ib on after the first week, I have lost 2lb this week.
