There are lots of SW posts which I love reading but was finding it difficult to remember where to post my weigh in and menus for the day.

Hope no one minds me doing this......Smile

I am Calzone and I am 5ft 6'. I joined SW last week and weighed in at 14st 3lbs.
I am doing Dry January and think I have been pretty good this week with my food choices.....

Food today
B......fruit/tea with sk milk
L...2 bread, beans, 2 eggs
D....DH is doing Lebanese and promises it is SW friendly.Smile

So, if you want to do the same.....post and share, otherwise this will be my SW experience.SmileSmile

B: Overnight oats (heB)
L: Last of the Salmon, salad, grapes. 1.2 pot of quark with an options sachet stirred in. QUite nice, certainly the best thing Ive tasted with quark in! (2 syns)
D: Leftover moroccan beef tagine with pasta (2 sys)
Snack: Strawberries, apple.

HexA = milk in tea.

Im sat here with my full tum, not needing anything, but craving something sweet. Need to find something that isnt fruit or yoghurt and with only a couple of syns (pref none) for days like this.

Fanny, sponge fingers for trifles are only 1 syn each. I eat them instead of biscuits. Meringue nests are 2-3 syns, depending on brand. Marshmallows are 1 syn each and according to my consultant are nice frozen and a bit like nougat. Or try the half syn cake?

I've been rubbish all week really. Had a good day yesterday and then ruined it by eating 3 blondies at 2am!

Today:

B: onion omelette

L: pack of tikka chicken

D: moussaka with roasted carrots, celeriac and butternut squash and steamed purple sprouting broccoli and asparagus.

Cappuccino mullerlight.

Snack.....bag golden Birdseye rice (1.5s)

D....6 quorn nuggets (3s), wedges, mushy peas
Muller and melon

B - 2 nimble, marmite, banana, 2 satsumas, Miller lite vanilla

L - SW bolognaise, spaghetti, banana

D - SW bolognaise, pasta, green beans, tomatoes. Muller light yoghurt.

HexA - 30g Parmesan
HexB - 2 nimble

Syns - 4 (2rich tea biscuits)

First day back on sw fr me since having my baby.

B- porridge with a tbsp of golden syrup
S- apple
L- jacket pot with beans
S- f f yoghurt
D- sw bolognaise with jacket and salad
S- apple & ff yoghurt

I'm now off to bed before I eat anything else!! Xx

Funny you've made me laugh, I had a trousers fail yesterday running for a train. Nearly missed it as I had to stop and hold them up with one hand while I ran. I looked quite a sight I think Blush but I am so pleased!

Yesterday was a mini celebration but all done SW style:
B: Hex b bran flakes, FF yoghurt, apples and berries
L: green salad with carrot and olives, 3 frittata muffins (brocolli red pepper and mushroom)
D: risotto SW style with bacon and a plateful of asparagu hex a Parmesan and
Syns 2 glasses of fizz
Snacks were frittata, muller choc Orange and a hi-fi lite bar

Not a great day but a huge mental leap for me as I did not use celebrations as excuse to go totally off plan. Think I am finally sorting out my completely disordered eating SmileSmileSmile

Week done eating on your mental leap. I see how its easy to just say stuff it. Its my downfall at the weekend.

My plan today is

Hex b 2 x wm bread.
Hex b 250ml semi skimmed.

B- poached haddock,poached egg & tomatoes.(eaten)
L- chicken stir fry with soy & oyster sauce.
D- ?????????????? Fish sounds good but not sure.

S- pineapple & raspberries activia yogurt
Cadbury mallow 3 syns.
Now off for a gym walk.

Forgot to post yesterday!

B: two boiled eggs, two nimble slices (HEB) and an apple
L: Pasta bake topped with 40g light cheese (HEA)
D: chicken fajitas using a packet spice mix so I think it was 3 syns for that... Had it with rice and salad instead of wraps.
Smacked on fruit all day! I've not stopped eating this week. I had 4 apples, two bananas and half a bunch of grapes!

So went and got weighed and was down a pound despite a slightly hectic week. It got me thinking about what i ate before so for old times sake I am going to do a typical day eating for me before I started SW Grin!

B - stop at garage on my way to work and get a scone, a packet of popcorn, a can of coke and an aero mint bar.

Midmorning - eat some of the birthday cake or chocolate that's always in the work kitchen because of a bday or because someone is home from hols.

L - Go to shop and get a white bread sandwich with chicken, pesto, tomatos and cheddar toasted. Get a packet of cheese and onion crisps.

Way home from work- sometimes stop and get a bag of haribo.

D - Cook from scratch a decent meal for the kids and us. About twice a week give the kids leftovers or fish fingers and get a takeaway. Typically a 12 inch pizza for myself with a couple of garlic dips and a can of coke.

Evening- pig out with husband. Maybe a giant pack of malteasers or some cakes.

Is it any wonder I got to 14 stone! I feel so much happier now that I am losing weight and though I have lots more to lose even a bad week doesn't have a fraction of what a day had before!

Oh cakeface, your typical day sounds heaven!! Its how we'd like to eat. Full of satisfaction fat & sugar. I always say I could be 20 stone no problem, but on the whole we all have a cut off point. Mine is 13 stone. Its where I was before I had my ds years ago. Down to 11 before I conceived and currently 12-8.
I love pizza, bread cheese, mayonnaise wine & crisps plus big meals.
My weight is like a heart monitor it blips up and down. Its our own understanding of it that counts.

cakeface your normal days sound amazing and exactly like mine were!
Today has been good, easier because I've been busy tidying the house and not able to think about treats all day
B: 35g oats with 120ml ss milk (HEA and HeB the rest of the milk has been use in tea)
L: risotto with chicken, leeks, onion and peppers
D: not had it yet but I'm going to have spag Bol (1.5syns for gravy granules)with a little bit of pasta and lots of salad
I also had a penguin bar at 5.5syns

Can't weight to have my first weeks weigh in on Sunday morning!

B: Muller light and fruit
L: Egg mayo and cress sandwich (hex B) (1 syn light mayo)
D: Chicken enchilladas - really nice...here. I omitted the chorizo altogether, but used 1/2 a fajita packet mix (2 syns), plus cheddar as my Hex A. All split between 6, so my portion was less than 1/2 a syn. Result! Kids found it too spicy, but hey. more leftovers for me tomorrow.

bit of a funny day for me today food wise...
actimel before gym, then went to the gym and did a legs workout and was very proud of myself for deadlifting my heaviest weight so far. then came home and decided to treat myself to the toast, peanut butter (which i measured out exactly) and banana. It was so delicious it set me off on a "I'm feeling deprived moment".
so 5 syns.

then had veggie quiche for lunch and since i was still feeling deprived i had a bit of the pasta bake that i'd made for the kids supper with a jar of sauce that i can't even find on the syns list, and also covered in loads of cheese. no idea how many syns in that - maybe 5 as well. hope not more.
then finished off with a bit of dark choc - was about to weigh it and realised it was already in my mouth. so maybe 5 as well - about 4 squares of green and blacks 70%

then grilled cod and sw chips and roasted cauli for supper, but to be honest by then was feeling a bit stuffed and didn't really need it.

i think i messed up by having my treat early in the day and then got into a sort of mind war with myself.

anyway, tomorrow i'll be at work so hopefully a bit more controlled.

feel all guilty and stupid and also frustrated because my skirt is too tight! sometimes even 1 day eating well seems like a long time and i expect to see something in my clothes even though i'm right at the beginning still.

this is an interesting article about having your treats at breakfast time, so you dont feel deprived all day. Chocolate cake anyone....?!

Yes that is interesting fanny! And makes sense. I just have years of dysfunctional thinking around food to try and undo, and everyday I end up analysing some completely useless and irrelevant thing that I've eaten or done. Will get a grip nowWink

Good article fanny, makes sense to me. I like a bigger breakfast or am looking for something by 10am.

Today's plan day 3 and the wines still in the chillerSmile.
B- bacon egg & beans 1toast hex b x 1.
L- chilli prawn stir fry. Pineapple & 0% yogurt
D- chicken roast new potatoes cabbage & carrots.

S- #2 x hex b bread. Fruit pot & cadbury mallow (3syns).
Using 300 mls 1% milk for teas & coffee.

L: CHicken enchiladas (1 syn) using 1/2 hexA for cheese, plus salad.
D: Chicken breast, salad, baked potato, ff cottage cheese. Yawn, what an uninspiring dinner. Made up for it with a Belgian Choc Options (2 syns) stirred in to FF quark.

Milk in tea for 1/2 hexA plus 2 syns extra.

Sn: Apple. Slice of ham.

Weigh in tomorrow. Feeling positive, as apart from a disastrous Saturday, i
Ive been on plan all week.

Today so far,

Egg bacon 2 hxb.
Teaspoon peanut butter ???syns
2 teas 1% milk.

Pasta, with tomato & mushroom herbs/garlic.

Its the weekend!!!! Good but not so good.
Have only used 11 syns sincd Tuesday so I'm hoping to last with my Indulgence's.

Tonight's dinner should be steak, sw chips & creamy mushroom (philli) sauce.
All have a fan one.!!x

Today: breakfast 1slice toast with cot cheese and smoked salmon
Lunch: jacket sweet potato with tuna and beans and salad
Apple for snack
Have picked on rice (lots)and carrots whilst getting supper ready so will have just chicken and veg for supper
Also had 12g Magic stars (3.5 syns)

Crossing fingers for Monday . Can't believe how much I'm eating but jeans a bit loose.

B: Toast (heB) with nutella and banana (4 syns)
L: Baked potato, chicken and bacon mayonaise (5 syns)
Sn: Alpen light bar (2.5 syns)
D: Chicken pasta with cheese (2 syns), yorkie biscuit (5 syns) and a coconut tart (9 syns) plus a glass of wine (6.5 syns)

Thats 33.5 syns today - assuming I dont have another glass of wine. Tsk
