TheBooMonster · 21/04/2015 21:31

excellent!

I'm 5 foot 6 and I'm 10 stone 12. I have an interim target set of 9 stone with the plan to lose another half if that isn't enough. I'm also breastfeeding, so I have 5 healthy extras a day (3 or 4 need to be HEA because of the calcium requirements) and have been told I should aim to have all 15 syns Shock

B: Muller light yoghurt
L: melon, mango, kiwi and carrot with flavoured hummus (2 syns) (we were in the city and the book said everything in the food court was too many syns so I went to boots for a meal deal)
D: Fresh filled pasta (3 syns) Pasta sauce (3.5 syns) 1/4 a tesco garlic flatbread (6 syns) 75g mozzarella ( 1 & 1/2 HE A)

Snacks: Tomato and 125g Mozzarella (2 & 1/2 HE A) with balsamic vinegar. Another Muller Light Yoghurt.

Desire to chew someones arm off for ice-cream: high

I have literally nothing in the house that is healthy extra B... A Tesco order has been made and an emergency trip to Sainsbury's to pick up everything that I couldn't order from Tesco will be tomorrow's job. Then I'm going to have to work out how I can fit everything else in around the meals that are coming in tomorrows Gousto box why oh why did I order the Gousto box

cakeface16 · 21/04/2015 23:08

thanks fanny.

Welcome boo. I'm breastfeeding too but I've opted not to use the bf plan as my boobling is a toddler and I've been feeding continously for 5 years and I think my body is so used to it I don't use any extra calories at allSad

Calzone, Boo!

A maintain is good, you might even come in with a double bubble loss next week, so do not despair!

I did wonder about the syns allowed as you get smaller - yet the syns stay the same. With "the other diet club", your points reduce as you get smaller, so you don't over eat.

I'm feeling positive this week - managed to fend off major sugar cravings last night and avoid the triple chocolate cake the kids were eating for pudding. Been low on syns all week after my "we shall never talk of this again" binge last Friday.

Weigh in tomorrow!

cakeface16 · 23/04/2015 10:08

Thanks boo Smile

Today was a good day!

I'm currently 12st12, want to get down to 10st or below but aiming for 10 for now, I'm 5ft7 and veggie.

B: ryvita (hexb) with light Philadelphia (hexa) cucumber and tomato, satsuma x 2.
L: leftover stir fry - quorn, courgette, onions, peppers, sweet corn, beans and soy sauce.
D: massive helping of quorn cottage pie with swede mash and peas, so stuffed!
Had two options hot chocolates as well, about 4 syns.

A reasonably low syn day but I had a gorgeous cupcake yesterday so attempting to atone for that Grin

calzone Quorn chorizo?! I had no idea that even existed! Is it free?

TheBooMonster · 23/04/2015 22:23

Quorn Meat Free Chorizo, chilled 150g pack ( per 100g ) 3½

PrincessSlayer · 23/04/2015 22:55

Ooh amazing, definitely on the shopping list to try!

fannyfanakapan · 23/04/2015 23:22

B: Smoked fish, eggs, tomato. Banana

D: Bourbon Pork chops (10.5 syns!!! eeek!) new potatoes, coleslaw made with hellmanns light (4 syns), peas.
Sn: Satsuma

Milk in tea - 3 syns.

So all in all, its been a bugger of a day due to me being in a huge rush at dinner time and only having time to stuff my face on the go with something that turned out to be huge drain on syns.

total weekly syns, (excluding last Friday of which we shall not speak) .... 38.5. Lets hope its been enough to undo the damage.

Weigh in tomorrow, and up to tonight, I was quite positive!

Also, Ive not had any hexB again today. Is that such a bad thing? Im eating carbs and plenty of fibre, so is that all im missing?

fannyfanakapan · 24/04/2015 12:52

1 lb off - Yeay me!

cakeface16 · 24/04/2015 14:11

Well done Fanny!

So today:

B - mullar light with linseed (HO B) Can diet coke, orange, grapes
L - Salad from M & S with leafs, pepper, mozzarella (HO A) and tomato and bought separate prawns and had them on top with a splash of balsamic
D - Family is getting take away so bought a count on me Chow Main in M & S. Also bought some meringue shells so I can have something nice without blowing it!

Had a fairy cake in office midmorning - 5 syns

TheBooMonster · 24/04/2015 14:14

yay! grats fanny!

The thing in the main slimming world book that has a tub of quark, a highlights sachet, a bit of vanilla essence and some sweetener is actually incredible! As is the twice baked jacket potato from the EEE book

fannyfanakapan · 25/04/2015 12:16

Yesterday did not really go to plan....

b: banana, yoghurt, grapes
L: fritatta
D: Toast with cottage cheese

but then:

40g gold bunny chocolate (11 syns)
a glass of wine (6 syns)
A small slice of pizza (5 syns)

so 22 syns, not as bad as I thought, and I did reign myself in.

fannyfanakapan · 25/04/2015 13:33

Bow down to my awesomeness people! I've been planning on trying this all week, and it worked really well.

Thai chicken breasts

mix 1 tbs thai curry paste (i used red) (1 syn) and a pot of mullerlight coconut and lime with some thai 7 spice and lime zest. Marinade your chicken in it for a while, then pop under a hot grill. I served with noodles and stir fry veg. Mine served 6 chicken breasts so really, negligible syns. ANd very tasty!

I also want to try the coconut yog instead of coconut milk in a thai curry - could save loads of syns if you can add it without splitting....any ideas?

fannyfanakapan · 25/04/2015 19:55

B: SW fry up - bacon, beans egg, tomato, 2x toast (HexB)
L: Thai chicken (see above) with veg and noodles.
D: Baked spuds with bacon leak and pepper stuffing, plus cheese (hexA), and salad; Mullerlight with strawberries and banana.
Glass of wine (6 syns) and 10g chocolate (3 syns)
Milk in tea (3 syns)

Total 12 syns
