Thanks guys. I'm giggling at auto correct changing hypo to hypocrisy. Who knew?! Haha! I've only really half stuck to plan until last week, as I've been eating what I want at meals out, having latte's and not counting them and mainly getting away with it as I don't have many syns on a daily basis. I'm going to try really hard to be totally on track for a few weeks now as I worked out if I lose 2lb a week I can then be 2 stone lighter by my step daughter's graduation.

fannyfanakapan · 16/04/2015 21:42

Midori1999 · 19/04/2015 22:32

I've never thought to use stock in mash. I will try it. I usually use a beaten egg or two mashed in.

B: left over korma style curry and rice. Big bowl of melon, pineapple and orange. Cherry danio yoghurt (1 syn)

L: nothing as breakfast was so late and huge!

D: roast chicken, sweet potato wedges, salad and 3 tbsp nandos peri peri sauce. (1.5 syns for the sauce)

I haven't had the nandos sauce before, but it's really nice and made the meal really.

Snack: banana.

I'm still hungry and debating whether to have anything... Have some bargain parsnips in the fridge that were 1p a bag, so going to make curried parsnip soup in the slow cooker overnight I think as too late to do on the hob now and won't have time tomorrow.

fannyfanakapan · 20/04/2015 06:25

thanks calzone, i will try that. my kids hate SW food, and so last night DD cooked and made things the traditional way. I had syns to spare though, so all good.

I watched a youtubey type programme yesterday about sugar addiction and how its making us obese - in particular, it kills the receptors in the brain, needing us to eat more and more for the same effect - just like other drugs. Fascinating. I have found a reduced need for sugar and stodge while on SW - I just havent felt the need lately for pasta and other starchy foods. But the sugar craving can be bad on some days.

fannyfanakapan · 20/04/2015 19:44

hello all, happy MOnday!

B: An experiment - savory oats. Im not one for very sweet breakfasts, and my Californian friend suggested oats with a fried egg, bacon, tomatoes and plenty of salt and pepper. The jury is still out on this, because it was just peculiar to have those silky/slimy oats as a basis for the bacon and eggs. (Oats were HexB, made with water).

L: Leftover curry, 1 tbs mango chutney (2 syns). STrawberries, banana and grapes in a coconut mulllerlight. Yum.

D: Risotto and salad. Fat free dressing. Mullerlight.

milk in tea all day for hexA.

hstar1995 · 20/04/2015 21:31

Ate loads today, having a hungry day.

B - fruit salad (frozen fruit, strawberries). Glass of milk. (HEA)

Snack - slice of lean ham.

L - Brown wrap (HEB) with chicken and mayo, and salad. (0.5 syns). Banana and yogurt afterwards.

Snack - lemon water, black coffee and canderel (about 4 mugs). Pufts (3 syns).

Tea - sw chips baked with oregano, seasoning and garlic salt (YUM), slimming world sausages, salad, mayo (0.5) and ketchup (1)

Was still hungry so had banana and cup of tea. Am still hungry Sad. Must have worms or something, why do I still feel peckish? Been drinking water all day so it's not just thurst.

L -

hstar1995 · 20/04/2015 21:34

Also had a Greek fruitopolis yogurt and blueberries

Midori1999 · 20/04/2015 22:35
