There are lots of SW posts which I love reading but was finding it difficult to remember where to post my weigh in and menus for the day.

Hope no one minds me doing this......Smile

I am doing Dry January and think I have been pretty good this week with my food choices.....

Food today

Back on plan from today, a week to get back to the realms of where I was before!

hstar1995 · 04/04/2015 13:08

Gained a pound today Sad. I know where its come from though - the Easter egg I munched through, wine, crisps... Never mind, it's another week. I'm going to stick to plan this week, and I'll go to the gym more, and swimming. It's my birthday Monday so going out for a meal but planning on making up for that by being extra good and maybe doing a few SP days.

So far today

L - ham, cheese, tomato and mushroom omlette.

Dinner will be chicken with carrots, gravy, Yorkshire puddings and SW roast potatoes. 7 syns for the lot. May have a hifi bar later as my HEB or some strawberries

CookieMonster101 · 06/04/2015 12:06

I've fallen off the wagon. I had struggled anyway with snacking and then one of my grandparents died. So I was very emotional anyway and healthy eating went out the window. Now on holiday where I can't cook everything I want but trying to be at least a bit healthy.

Did a healthy food shop for when I'm back home but I fear when my 12 week countdown is up (next week) I won't have lost more than 3 lbs :(

fannyfanakapan · 06/04/2015 16:26

cookie, tomorrow is a brand new day. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and resstart. You could be 3-4lbs lighter by next week! And that could be close to half a stone! AT that rate, you could be 2 stone lighter by Christmas, so all is not lost.

My advice is to make a plan for the week and stick to it. Then feel that happy glow when you lose. That will get you back on track quicker than anything.

fannyfanakapan · 06/04/2015 18:11

B: Smoked haddock, 2 eggs, tomato
L: Salad, 3 slice ham, 1 slice HEB bread, 70% less salad cream (1 syn), mullerlight
D: Cold pork, tomato and bacon risotto (counting as 3 syns for oil and bacon, divided by 6 people) , salad, dressing (newmans own italian - 3.5 syns)
10g Chocolate bunny (3 syns)

Sn Apple x2, banana.
HEXA: Milk in tea ++

10.5 syns.

CookieMonster101 · 07/04/2015 12:50

You're right fanny.

I am not home now and still have a funeral to go to this week but am trying to eat healthily as much as I can. Even if I don't lose this week that's ok. I have done a big food shop for when I'm back home and it's definitely all healthy then.

Have weighed myself on the scales here and there seems to be a slight downwards trend but I trust the scales at sw more.

fannyfanakapan · 07/04/2015 22:38

Hungry day for me...

B. Bacon medallions, egg, tomato, 2x toast, (hexb) 1tsp nutella 3 syns) and some banana.
L. Wagamama chicken and prawn rice _ 16 syns but didn't eat it all so counting 12 (about 1/4 left in bowl plus DD had some)
D. Teriyake salmon on stir fry veg
Hexa...milk in tea
Snack..chocolate 10g bunny 3 syns. Mullerlight
18 syns total.

calzone · 07/04/2015 23:17

Am in Cornwall with family for a week.

There are 21 of us and we might be about to kill a few members.....we are going slightly insane. GrinGrinGrin

Have been good but definitely not enough vegetables or fruit. Am avoiding wine, bread, cheese, pasties, most cake.

Dh made an amazing meal tonight which was not SW friendly. Am almost desperate to be back on plan on Friday. Smile

cakeface16 · 08/04/2015 09:49

Down 3 last night so that's 9.5 in 2 weeks. It's going well but I really fell off the wagon when I got home and ate around 100 syns of chocolate Sad . Hopefully I got it out of my system now so onwards and upwards. j
Just had a gorgeous fruit salad, will have homemade veg soup for lunch and slimming world chicken base pizza for dinner. Meeting friends for a walk this evening. All this sun is putting me in an exercising mood

fannyfanakapan · 08/04/2015 19:56

well done cakeface - the chocolate thing is a bugger, because I still have an egg and a whole big chocolate bunny (worth 60 syns) sat here...

But well done for the loss, and now, you can say I have had all my syns for the week and enjoyed them!

Im struggling because I feel very hungry this week, so struggling to adjust to SW again. Need to get to my meeting on Friday and see what the damage from last week was, but anyone else find it hard to get back into after a break?

Here's today:

B: 2 x toast (hexb) with low low cheese (1/2 hex A) on one and 1/2 tsp nutella on the other (1.5 syns), plus some leftover salmon.

D: Baked spuds with low fat cream cheese, (1.5syns) beans and bacon, salad.

fannyfanakapan · 10/04/2015 10:53

WooHoo, 1.5lb off! Just .5 to go to my 2 stone award!

Im looking forward to getting my BMI back into the "overweight" category, from the "Obese" category, although I have some way to go, it is good seeing the number come down.

Plans for this week include trying diet creme soda rice pudding. Just sometimes need some stodge after a big veggie laden meal.

fannyfanakapan · 10/04/2015 18:53

am I the only one left on this thread Sad.

Today was not good. I started so well and completely sabotaged myself at lunch...

B: boiled eggs, toast, (HEx B) and tomato
L: Pasta, with light soft cheese (3 syns) 1 tsp pesto (1.5). a muller light chocolate fix (5 syns) and... half an easter egg (18 syns)
D: CHicken and veg!

SO a big old 27.5 syns today. However, thats less than a big ol' starbucks and almond croissant (my downfall) that I would have had before, so Im not going to beat myself up too much.

Drawing a big ol' line...

calzone · 10/04/2015 19:58

Is that all you've eaten Calzone? Shock Grin you're doing great, arent you?

Fanny, don't lose heart. Some of my biggest losses have been in weeks where I've fallen off the wagon. Maybe as I try and be more careful to compensate? Easter eggs are lush, you can't be blamed... Grin

Can I join in please? (May have posted a couple of times earlier in the thread) I've lost a stone since mid Jan, which I'm pleased with, but I've only half stuck to plan in that time really and I'm hoping to lose as much as possible by mid July, so I'm really upping my game now and trying to be stricter with myself. I'm doing 'original' days this week, even though I know they technically don't exist any more, as they always worked well in the past.

Today we've been out at a wildlife park and are staying in a hotel, so I've had:

Breakfast: melon, orange and kiwi as a fruit salad and a boiled egg.

Lunch: salmon, asparagus and potato salad and a chicken thigh, plus a few radishes.

Dinner: prawn cocktail with bread but not sauce or butter. 20oz T-bone steak and salad. I have my onion rings away and then had coffee instead of pud.

Snack: satsuma

calzone · 11/04/2015 09:50
